In Nagazora, Juviel's mansion

Night time, 

Fu Hua was looking at her phone in a daze, displayed on it was the last conversation she had with Juviel. It has already been more then 2 months, she missed him dearly. 

Living alone in this big place was also frightening to her, but thankfully Juviel left Kalsfer there to ensure the safety of Fu Hua. 

Though Kalsfer doesn't speak to her and is rather cold, ultimately having one trustable person there was better than having none. 

Putting down her phone, she laid down on bed. 

“When are you coming back, I want to talk to you again..”

As she was saying that, she dozed off into sleep.

Meanwhile the person in question just woke up and checked his Status Panel, only to start sweating profusely.

“If I recalled correctly, Fu Hua's Salvation Points were around 2.5m.. So I can only live till tomorrow!? Shit!!!”

“No time to sleep, let's find Ao Tuo! Let's kick this ambassador out!” 

Getting up, he didn't even bother greeting the System like usual and opened the door, only to see the Yae looking girl about to knock on the door. She seemed surprised that he got out before she could even knock. Meanwhile Juviel was pleasantly surprised, if she was here.. 

“Has Ao Tuo called for me?”

The Yae looking girl seemed displeased at how casually he was mentioning her Emperor, but had to let the hostility go and nod. 

“His Majesty has told me to escort you to the Royal Court.” 

Juviel nodded and gestured for her to lead the way. She didn't mind and started escorting him to the Royal Court. Thankfully his room wasn't too far away from the Royal Court, maybe this was a part of Ao Tuo's plans? 

He does look like a certain scum from the future. 

Juviel didn't hear what the System said, so ignoring the racist comment from the System, Juviel had entered the Royal Court. He had expected the place to be filled with Court Officials and all those political drama, but there was only Ao Tuo here, sitting on his throne. 

“Have you prepared, Juviel?” 

He gestured to the Yae looking girl and she understood that it was the signal for her to leave. So she bowed and left. 

Juviel nodded, he liked how straightforward this man was. Normally politicians tend to speak in circles. 

“The Royal Court looks rather empty, why is that the case, Ao Tuo?” 

Ao Tuo smiled as usual and didn't seem to be annoyed at the fact that Juviel was calling him by his name rather than his title. 

“They were being too nosy and they will interrupt our plan. So I imprisoned them.” 

A chill went down Juviel's spine, how tyrannical! But Juviel understood that what Ao Tuo did was indeed the fastest solution. 

“Impressive, I must say. Moving onto our plan, Ao Tuo, fill me on the details.”

Ao Tuo's expression became serious and the smile on his face went away. 

“The complexity of the plan makes me incapable of explaining it fully, however, in simple terms, it is to cut.. Cake.” 

While saying so, he gestured to the sky and did a splitting motion with his hand. Juviel was rather confused when this man said cake, but he somehow understood what he meant with that motion.

“You wish to cut.. That cake!!?”

This man was intending to split apart the skies!! Juviel was shocked, he had never had this thought in his life. Furthermore, what would happen after he did that? 

Ao Tuo nodded in complete seriousness, then he spoke with a look of melancholy. 

“The root cause of this World's deterioration.. Is where we have to start from, are you willing to listen?”

Juviel nodded, afterall, how else would Juviel understand his crazy plan? 

The man continued, 

“The source is external, and whatever it is, it's consuming this world.”

Juviel felt fear upon hearing that statement, a world consuming entity? And from the looks of it, he was incapable of doing anything to it so it should be above Sa and the Cocoon. 

“I'm not aware of what entity this is, but it is very welcoming of my existence and expressed its wishes to accept me.”

Juviel was shocked, huh? What? 

“How?” 

Ao Tuo chuckled upon seeing Juviel's expression and continued. 

“I once tried making contact, but I felt like a grain of sand in the sea. Almost drowning in the process, however I also discovered that my world was also in this ‘Sea’, and it showed no signs of coming back up.. Rather, it continues to sink.”

Juviel felt the helplessness from his voice, what exactly was this ‘Sea’ that made the strongest being in this world feel so weak? 

Ao Tuo snapped out of his melancholy and smiled proudly. 

“However, I have found the solution. Which is to simply surface and get out of this ‘Sea’! I have spent 500 years planning for this day, and this is the only viable option…”

Saying so, he did the hand split gesture towards the skies again. Juviel was a bit confused by his actions, why couldn't he say it out loud? Were there people listening in? No, that's not possible, judging from how tyrannical this man was, they would have been locked up or killed on the spot. 

“.. Is the ambassador capable of..” 

Juviel gestured to his ear in doubt. That was right, the only one capable of listening in and make the Emperor incapable of speaking as he wishes, is definitely the ambassador of Sa! 

Ao Tuo looked surprised but still nodded solemnly. 

“That is why, we must begin immediately. I hope you don't mind the rush.”

Juviel understood to some extent why he was so impatient, afterall he had been patiently arranging and planning everything for 500 years.. Just for this day, so of course he would be excited. 

“I have no problems with that, however.. I will need to meet with this World's Will.” 

Ao Tuo seemed to have expected this and nodded. 

“Very well..”

He snapped his fingers and the two of them vanished from the Royal Court. Shortly afterwards, a woman with red eyes and dark green hair appeared, she looked rather annoyed. 

“That damned Sa keeps slaving me to death! And what's up with that Emperor? Why is he so powerful? This world shouldn't have such an existence!”

Normally, with her abilities, it should have been no problem to be near omniscient, all knowing and seeing. However, this Emperor suppressed her and forced out all the Rules added by Sa! It was only thanks to Sa that she could still listen in, but what was that about cutting cake?

“Huh? Wait a minute..” 

Anyways, as the Author, I leave it there as a cliffhanger. Back to Ao Tuo and Juviel in the next chapter.
