The System notification made Juviel jump a bit, after composing himself he looked at the notification incredulously. 

“I didn't do anything, though!?” 

The System thought carefully and did thousands of calculations before she arrived at one conclusion, 

[That might have been the problem.] 

“What?” 

Juviel thought he must have seen it wrong when the System said that. Understanding his confusion, the System continued on with her explanation. 

[She might have peeked out of curiosity and saw you giving attention to your.. phone instead of her.] 

Feeling a bit speechless at how silly this girl was being, Juviel decided to put back his phone and stare at her face. 

This made the secretly peeping Elysia's heart rate spike in anxiety. 

“E-Eh? Awawawa being too cute has resulted in a disaster!” 

Gritting his teeth, Juviel decided not to wait any longer and force her to ‘wake’ up. He went to a corner of the room and took out a certain object. When Elysia saw it, she felt a bit anxious, and then it was replaced with smugness. 

“Hehe, I made sure to put a cute little pattern as a password, even my dearest Eden wouldn't be able to figure it out!” 

That object was her phone, and her password wasn't as secure as she thought it was. In Front of an underground overlord like Juviel, cracking open a civilian's phone was child's play. 

Within a matter of minutes he had already gotten access to the phone. He made sure to raise the volume of notifications so that Elysia knew it had gotten cracked. It worked, Elysia was mortified. Finally she couldn't pretend to sleep any longer as she yelled, 

“W-Wait!” 

Juviel looked at her in surprise, 

“Wow, she sounds nice too.. Wait a minute isn't this the voice I heard from that girl in Terminus' future mirage? The one my future self was fighting against?” 

Of course that wasn't what he said, instead he smiled in an evil manner and shook her phone around before going through her notifications. 

“Oh? Sleeping beauty has awakened as it may seem? And, your friend seems to be very worried about you!”

Juviel looked at it speechlessly, he even felt a bit bad for acting like a villain now. Sighing, he just threw her phone back at her. 

“Take it. Your friend is very worried about you.” 

Seeing the look of surprise on her face, he sighed and looked into the distance. As if pondering on all the things he had done in life to have reached such a weird situation. 

Meanwhile Elysia on the other hand felt really happy as she replied to the texts from Eden. She had sent around 10 messages and around 15 missed calls. So after reassuring Eden that she was fine, she even sent a selfie. 

“Hehe~, thank you, um, Mister Kidnapper!” 

Her positivity was contagious, Juviel couldn't help but smile after seeing how positively she reacted to the situation. Then his face darkened at the nickname he had received. 

[Uh oh, knowing Elysia, this nickname is going to stick with you forever..] 

Elysia noticed his expression and giggled, she seemed to not have any sense of danger at all! Then she continued whilst smiling, 

“Hehe, it's a cute name right~?” 

He couldn't sense any malice from her at all, and for some reason he couldn't bring himself to get annoyed. So he pretended to be annoyed instead, 

“No, of course not! I have a name!” 

Despite the denial at her claim, Elysia's eyes sparkled, she looked almost as excited as he was when he kidnapped her. He was speechless, was it really that big of a deal to know someone's name? 

“Tell me tell me~!”

Sighing once more, he couldn't bring himself to refuse her.. It wasn't anything harmful, so he decided to just go along with it.. Of course, he had forgotten one of the rules of the underworld was to not let the victims know the culprit's name. Perhaps Elysia made him lower his guard unintentionally. So the words just left his mouth automatically. 

“Juviel. Juviel Zraks.” 

Elysia gasped, she had never heard of such a name before. It felt unique and out of this world! She quickly continued, 

“Wow~! That's a wonderful name, Mister Kidnapper~.”

Juviel sighed for the umpteenth time this day as he recalled what the System said. 

“Sigh.. Maybe I shouldn't have kidnapped her.. Don't tell me that's gonna be my nickname forever? No!” 

“Come on, call me something else.” 

To his surprise she shook her head like a rattle and spoke with confusion, 

“Eh? Why~? It's such a cute name!”

Juviel sighed again as he realised it was impossible to convince her out of it, so he decided to settle for the next best solution. 

“Then, then don't call me that when there are others around.”

That worked wonders. Elysia's eyes lit up as she giggled, 

“Hehe~, then it's settled! It's a little secret between just the two of us!”

Juviel smiled at her cheerful voice despite having now been given one of the worst nicknames known to mankind. 

“Sigh.. I guess anything sounds good when a beautiful girl says it..” 

Elysia's curious voice broke him out of his thoughts, 

“I feel like I met you somewhere Mister Kidnapper~.” 

This left him and the System stunned, neither of them had expected this. While he was feeling confused as he went through his memories, the System spoke up. 

[Hm.. It should be due to the Garuda genes in you. Technically you are now of the same origins as her, so maybe that feeling is from that.] 

Juviel nodded, that indeed sounded more possible then meeting her before. But before he could speak up to clarify, she had already started speaking as if she had discovered something shocking. 

“Did we know each other in our past lives~!?”

He felt stunned for the umpteenth time that day. Raising his hand, he wanted to say something, but he felt too speechless to even say anything. But he felt that if he didn't say anything, Elysia would continue with her ‘amazing’ discovery. 

Juviel wrecked his head around for a solution and he realised that using normal ways of conversation simply didn't work. So he decided to throw caution to the wind and start spouting bullsht. Firstly, 

“No.” 

Elysia looked vividly disappointed, but she very quickly got back to her hype as she put her finger on her chin, almost as if she wanted to figure out this mystery. 

“Hmmm~.. Ah, wait is it-” 

Before she brought another weird theory, he interrupted her with an even more absurd theory. 

“That is because I am an alien, and you are one too. You were sent to Earth by accident and we were trying our best to find you, it was only this year we succeeded and I was sent here by the mothership to get you back.” 

[Wow, going so far just to fool an underage girl, you totally deserve that title!]

Juviel's expression froze,

"No! You! I am not a child predator!"

[Yes yes, you are a regular predator, I understand.]

Juviel gritted his teeth but still begrudgingly looked towards Elysia whilst not changing his facial expression.

Elysia looked stunned, she slowly looked at him and then herself. It seems that she was actually finding that theory to be viable for some reason and was attempting to find where her alien body part was. 

Not being able to notice anything, she pouted as if she realised he had bamboozled her and spoke, 

“Mou, then what makes us special~!?” 

It seemed she didn't realise she had been bamboozled and still held a faint doubt she wasn't a human for some reason. Juviel decided to go a bit further with his acting. 

“System, how can I turn on that red hair form?” 

[.. You mean fully activating your Garuda genes again? Imagine you are taking the biggest dump you have had in history.] 

“The fuck?” 

[Just kidding, take a deep breath.. Steady your breathing and heartbeat.. Calm down.. This state will last for as long as you want even if you get agitated afterwards.]

He did as she said, and a warm feeling started spreading from his heart across his whole body. His hair started turning white with red hair tips akin to fire and his irises changed colours to red as well. Feeling very fresh, he smiled and lifted his hand to conjure a bit of flame as a final touch. 

This indeed did something, Elysia's eyes and mouth were both wide open. It looked as if an egg could be fit in her mouth, though he wanted to put something else inside..

Coughing to hide his embarrassment, he looked towards Elysia who still hadn't recovered from her shock. He decided not to expect anything from her other than something completely out of his expectations, but it still wasn't enough to prepare him for her reaction.

Juviel's eyelids twitched, wasn't the acceptance a tad bit too fast? 

“Does she?”

Despite his eyebrows twitching due to the System's impish behaviour, he still replied in a normal voice, 

“Yes, but I was joking about the alien ship, we don't have a mothership to return to.” 

The room fell silent, the two of them looked at each other in silence for a good 5 seconds before Elysia looked him over again, at his Garuda form and then the flame he was now playing with like it was a small stress ball. She spoke up in her usual cheerful voice, but this time there was a hint of incredulity. 

“.. Wait, then we are homeless aliens~?”
