Meanwhile elsewhere, somewhere on Phosphorus a few moments ago

A woman with lavender-pink hair, glowing amethyst eyes wearing a modernized Chinese hanfu-inspired outfit was currently meditating. Her attire features butterfly motifs, a high-collared top, flowing fabrics, and fitted leggings, complemented by floating crescent-shaped blades and butterfly constructs.

Sa had her eyes closed, seemingly in meditation when all of a sudden her eyes widened in shock as she fell down and her hair colour changed to something else. For a second she looked exactly like her ambassador that she had sent. Only difference was their eyes.

“Hm!? How is that possible!?” 

Her voice sounded normal at the start and then took on a more ethereal like tone. As if she was from a Higher plane of existence, however she did indeed fall down for some reason. 

She felt very confused, because for a second her Divinity had vanished from her body. And then she managed to get it back, but to her shock there was someone else who had her Divinity too! 

“That is impossible.. I have never heard of such a case.. Two of the same Divinity? No.. That was indeed mine, so how did he get it?” 

Utilizing the connection established using the Divinity, she managed to see him. But at the same time she couldn't see him. This actually scared her, because she knew he was there but she couldn't see him. SHE couldn't see him.

Her Divinity and Eyes allowed her to be almost omniscient, how could she not feel some degree of fear when she found out her Eyes suddenly didn't work? 

Thankfully, due to the connection, there was something she managed to detect. Which allowed her to understand that he was a human male, this something was his unique brainwave signature, each human or lifeform had a unique brainwave signature. Of course, there were beings that didn't have such a thing, but that's a topic for later.

So she decided to grab wherever she sensed to have her Divinity and have a chat with him, but who knew he would suddenly disappear? 

“I felt a very ill omen the moment he appeared infront of me, as if one of us would perish if the other continued to exist.” 

She used to be one of the smartest people in her homeworld so she quickly figured out a possibility. 

“Could it be that two of the same Divinity cannot exist at the same time?” 

She thought for a long time, even forgetting about Vita who had returned quite some time ago. This made Vita happy because she finally got a break, so she didn't remind Sa at all and simply took a stroll. Apparently she was trying to find a peaceful location. 

“I can finally eat the snacks I got from my expeditions~.” 

Thinking so she grinned and managed to find a suitable location. 

Unfortunately for her, Sa snapped out of her trance as she had come to a conclusion. 

“He is a threat. He must be killed. Vita, come here.” 

She snapped her fingers and Vita appeared infront of her.. Holding a chicken drumstick to her mouth which was wide open, seemingly ready to test how a chicken would taste. 

“...” 

“...” 

“.. Where did you get that?”

Back to Juviel, 

By now he had arrived infront of his place and entered. He had actually lost his keys, but thankfully there was face recognition available so he managed to enter without much of an issue. 

Though his mood was heavy due to the future vision, it still got better once he saw Fu Hua in the kitchen. With his skills, it was not too difficult to sneak up behind her. 

Currently she was humming a tune whilst cutting some cabbages, just that scene alone made him feel that it was worthwhile to return here first. 

Taking note of the knife, he first spoke up before embracing her.

“I'm back, sorry for making you wait.” 

She yelped but didn't stab him with the knife, afterall, that voice was something she would recognise anywhere. Although he had only went out for a month, for her it felt like the most lonely period of her life. 

Smiling, she held onto his arms despite having gotten flustered, 

“W-Welcome back, Juviel~.”

Chuckling, Juviel was just about to let go, but she held on tight. 

“... You are going outside again, right?” 

Juviel was surprised, huh? Was this the infamous woman’s intuition? But he didn't want to lie to her either, so he spoke up after some silence. 

“.. Yes, I just returned and something extremely urgent came up. Apparently a friend of mine's little sister is in danger, so I'm making a trip over there.”

Hearing that, Fu Hua smiled bitterly, she wanted to spend time with him but it seemed that was impossible for now. She wanted to say ‘so your friend is more important to you than me, huh?’, but she knew better than to let her emotions do the talking.

Afterall, he was trying to save the world, the least she could do was to provide him with a place to call home. 

But still she felt a bit angry.

Feeling a bit stunned, Juviel didn't outright leave. 

“So this is the new System? Not gonna lie, this will be massively helpful in dealing with relationships.. Back to topic, it's understandable why she's angry.. I made her wait and now I'm telling her that I'm leaving immediately afterwards.”

Now he didn't want to leave but he had to, so he decided to spend time with her first,

“What have you been doing these days? I'm curious.” 

That question did the trick, her eyes lit up as she started telling him everything that occurred during his absence, so I(Author) decided to summarise it, 

“School, I was studying and in my free time I practiced what you gave me.” 

Saying that, she felt a bit guilty for some reason. She didn't like how school took more of her time than what Juviel gave her to do. She wanted to spend more time with practicing what Juviel gave her. 

Juviel hadn't noticed her inner guilt so he simply ruffled up her hair and said, 

“Good girl, study well. Did anything else noteworthy happen?” 

Being praised by Juviel had gotten the guilt out of her system so she replied with a smile, 

“Hm.. There was someone called Kevin Kaslana the class next to my class. Apparently there were rumours that he had connections with the Principal and that he used those connections to put his sister's class next to his class.”

Hearing that, Juviel was a bit surprised. A student who had connections with the Principal? That was something worth noting indeed. 

If the System had heard of this, she would have been shocked. But currently she was busy going through the database of the Astral Express, trying to keep up with the news. 

“That's interesting, do you know the name of his sister?” 

What Juviel didn't expect to receive was definitely a stare filled with suspicion, 

“Why do you want to know about that?” 

Though she felt that it was out of line to be asking that as she felt afraid that he might leave if she were too strict, but she still asked. Because she had a gut feeling that something might happen. 

Juviel noticed her jealous reaction and chuckled, 

“Relax, if you are uncomfortable with it, then I won't meet with her then. Did anything else happen?” 

Feeling her heart flutter with happiness, Fu Hua sighed in relief before answering with a shy smile, 

“No.. I don't think so. Wait, there was something on the news regarding some sort of alien creatures appearing near Siberia.”

That sent a chill down his spine, so it was indeed Siberia. Those creatures must be Honkai manifestations, or in other words, Honkai Beasts. That gave him his confirmation. 

“System, why do they go near Siberia despite the Herrscher not yet coming into existence?” 

[A Honkai Eruption is something that occurs slowly, it builds up Honkai Energy until eventually the Herrscher is born and she absorbs the Honkai Energy.. But this massive amount of Honkai Energy attracts Honkai Beasts as well. Why do you not know this? You even have that skill!

Feeling a bit embarrassed, Juviel could only say:

“It only told me that I require the ability Herrscher Authority Projection in order to know more about Herrscher type Eruptions.” 

[.. That is new, why haven't you told me?] 

“You didn't ask!” 

Caressing Fu Hua's soft hair, he continued

“Since the monster sightings were near Siberia out of all the places in that continent, then I'm now certain that is the place where the Herrscher will be born.” 

[So will you proceed with your previous plans?] 

“Yeah, but first..” 

“Hua, I'm free for today, wanna do something? Anything you want, of course.”

Hearing that, Fu Hua seemed to be genuinely considering what to do. She was silent for one good minute before she spoke excitedly, 

“Didn't you say you would train me? How about we start?” 

That wasn't what he was expecting to hear so he was a bit taken aback, but nonetheless he agreed. 

“Alright, go get ready. I'll be with you in a bit as well.” 

He was expecting her to say something like play games or take her on a date or something else. But training wasn't on that list. It seemed that he had underestimated her desire to get stronger. 

Fu Hua nodded and got out of his arms. Then she started going to the direction of her room, but stopped and turned to him with a bit of trepidation, 

“Y-You aren't going to leave me, right?” 

From the way she sounded, he knew that it took all of her courage to ask that question. So he smiled and said, 

“Silly, of course I won't be leaving in secret. I will properly tell you so that you can welcome me back with open arms.”

Though hearing that made her face flush and look like a tomato, she still smiled happily and skipped all the way to her room. She required reassurance, but that was cute too, so he didn't really mind. 

It seemed that despite Fu Hua becoming a bit more courageous and confident, she was still insecure about what her value was in this relationship. 

“Is it perhaps due to us not going through the last step?” 

Pondering on that, he decided not to stall any longer. He had taken her future self anyways, so he knew all of her weak spots. Thus ensuring a better time than with her future self, though she would be lacking in endurance in comparison. 

“Alright, after dealing with the 2nd Herrscher, I'll- Nah. That's a flag, I'll just do it tonight.”
