Elysium: Terminus.. You Must Have Been A Salesman Before You Ascended Right?

[But before that..]

Juviel suddenly returned to normal and was momentarily at a loss due to how fast he lost such tremendous power within a microsecond. Noticing his confusion, the System explained in the always cold tone, but this time slightly gentle.

[Because you gave me all of your SP without thinking of the consequences, you now cannot sustain Active Honkai Reaction Mode without losing your sanity.]

He had a look of realisation upon hearing that, so that was the case. Chuckling, he didn't mind the loss of his SP, to be precise he didn't think of it as a loss. To be even more precise, he didn't think of it as a trade or anything like that; he was just helping his closest aide and friend when she needed his help.

“A bit unfortunate, but it's ok. Let's head back, I'm curious to see Terminus’ rewards.”

The System let out a faint hum to let him know she agreed, and he saw his surroundings start changing and distorting for a split second before he felt a familiar heavy presence once more.

“Well, we handled the Stellaron, Terminus.”

The seemingly non-existent figure of Terminus flickered a bit and stared at Juviel for a good 2 seconds before words started popping up.

“[Very well. Wait for 10 days in your time, then this deal can be considered done.]”

Juviel raised an eyebrow, wait more than a week for what? He was about to ask, but it seems the System found it more urgent than him.

[What? Why the long wait?]

The pressure suddenly increased a bit, as if to indicate Terminus’ annoyance before words started popping up.

“[Are you that shameless or simply ignorant of what you had done? The Stellaron may be gone, but now the place is in an even worse condition!]”

Recalling the world sized 'crevice' in space caused by Acheron's slash, both the System and Juviel fell silent, and seeing them so silent, like wronged children, the pressure lessened a bit and Terminus continued after staring at Juviel for another second.

“[Was it part of your plan for a follower of HooH to arrive and clean up that damage?]”

How did Terminus know that? Has the Arbitrator arrived already? The System was confident that an Arbitrator would arrive, if not, the Equilibrium themselves would arrive. Because she didn't conceal anything! In fact she even amplified it a bit!

So the Nihility powers should have been felt very clearly.

[Of course.]

Terminus seemed to be pleased with that answer and dropped the topic. Waiting for around 10 days wasn't that difficult. Meanwhile the System had been meaning to clear up some confusion she had been having for a while now.

When Juviel had previously talked to Welt, the System actually had a couple of questions. Like how Welt was there to begin with, but from the way Welt spoke, it was as if he had gone there normally. And that the future had occurred.

But that wasn't the case, Welt of the present was still in the Supreme Prison. But that wouldn't explain how another Welt was outside of it..

[By the way, I faced an issue when I was tinkering with time and an anomaly appeared. It's a person, that person exists at two places at the same time but one is older. Could you help me out?]

Terminus read the words that popped up and didn't even wait for a bit to ponder, instead answering immediately.

“[Playing with Time.. You don't seem to be related to me, then are you perhaps a Divinity that branched off from Remembrance or Enigmata? Either way, you have given too little information and provided too little context, as such I cannot help you.]”

The System remained silent for a while and wisely didn't comment on Terminus’ guesses on her identity. She contemplated what to do for a bit before words finally started appearing.

[It happened as a result of the barrier I put in place. So maybe looking into it would help. But don't look too much!]

Although the System and Juviel were currently broke, she still had the Traveller's Proof which stopped responding after Nihility had glanced at them. Perhaps it died, but it didn't really matter, since she could now fully utilise the power supply it held.

So she was able to afford Terminus doing a diagnosis on the Solar System; albeit through the Supreme Prison. Otherwise it would cause a massive headache for the System and all the Higher Existences in the Solar System if Terminus looked directly!

But now, System was the only one getting the headache because she had to repair the Supreme Prison while Terminus was doing their diagnosis.

“[Sure, I'm free right now anyways.]”

Shortly afterwards, a big screen popped up infront of Terminus. Showing the inside of the Supreme Prison; aka the Solar System. If one observed closely, they would notice something being bounced off from the screen. This was the Supreme Prison preventing Terminus’ gaze from entering the Solar System.

“[Splendid design, what an intricate layout. I am impressed whenever I see this cube of time you have made. It is flawless, there are no problems with it whatsoever. However, the inside is the complete opposite.]”

The System fell silent, at that time she was indeed in quite a rush, plus it was her first time making changes to such a thing.. Even though she had access to the Erudition Path as well at that time, she was too panicked at the time, so she wasn't efficient at all. And by the time she wanted to do a double check on it, she had already lost her powers. So she couldn't check for any issues.

[What do you mean?]

As expected of an expert, Terminus accurately found out the exact problem with a glance, they then continued,

“[You have done well to seperate the Present into two layers; the Present and Past. It seems you used a combination of Remembrance and my Path to achieve this effect. But it looks so amateurish.. Yet the cube you designed is absolutely stunning.. How odd, it is as if two different entities made these.]”

The System felt a bit of fear when she heard the sharp analysis of Terminus. Because that was indeed the case, the Supreme Prison was made by the System before she took over, while the other intricacies inside of it such as Time Layering was done by her after she got isekai'd.

She also recalled that at that time she was trying her best to send Juviel to the past as soon as possible while her powers were still present.. There was also the fact that implementing the idea was although possible, it wasn't practical.

Simply having access to the Erudition Path did not turn her into a genius; it merely maxed out her computational prowess and thinking capabilities. Right now she had but a mere fraction of her computational powers in comparison.

Also, Terminus’ straightforward diagnosis made her feel a bit embarrassed. Because Juviel was still present, she didn't want to look bad infront of him.

[... Stop stop, can you fix it or not?]

The previous words from before disappeared before new rows of words started appearing.

“[That I can. But not for free, of course.]”

The System felt relieved at that response. Although Terminus’ explanations helped quite a lot, already having cleared up a bit of confusion for the System. It still didn't answer why there were two Welts. So she popped up another screen, with the two Welts on it and saw Terminus’ figure flicker a bit.

“[A rare instance of the Past, Present and Future existing at the same time. It is an issue that'll solve itself, you need not worry about it.]”

Although she was a bit doubtful about the laid back answer of Terminus, they were more of an expert at this than she was. Seeing that there weren't any lethal issues, she felt relieved. Well, there weren't any aside from the one caused by Terminus’ appearance last time, which she still had to fix.

[Thank you for clarifying my doubts, Terminus.. Now what is this price that you talked about if you were to fix the other issues?]

The System was quite wary of this, mainly because they were currently broke, but also because she was afraid Terminus might send them out to deal with another Stellaron. Thankfully it wasn't the case.

“[Haha, relax. No need to be so vigilant, I just want him to join an organisation that deals with Stellarons.]”

It wasn't the case but it was worse! Having already thought of particular name she saw in the Data Bank of the Express, she questioned.

[.. The Stellaron Hunters? You are the one behind them?]

Newer words started appearing in accordance to her response,

“[No, I am simply familiar with their leader. Consider it as repaying a favor.]”

What kind of being could benefit the Aeon Of Finality? The System could not understand nor fathom such an existence, so she simply decided not to think about it. Instead she secretly talked to Juviel, asking for his opinion.

[What do you think, User? I won't force you to join.]

Juviel, who felt completely out of place due to the intricacies behind the conversation between Terminus and System, finally got an opportunity to speak. He didn't really mind joining, but didn't they have more pressing issues?

But before he could voice his reply, light violet words started appearing.

“[Allow me to tell you the main interior issue; The interior design is so bad that a few Divinities within it are taking advantage of it while the other has started trying to. One is the one you call Cocoon, the other is the one you call Sa. The first entity is attempting to connect with its Present self, but keeps failing so it is attempting to cross over.

The second entity's unique Divinity allowed her to see the flaws in the interior and is currently planning to target those points in an attempt to destroy it and see if she can get something out of it.]”

Juviel's eyes widened in shock, what? What the actual f*ck?

How dangerous were these things? Even Sa whom the System constantly looked down upon was actually so terrifying?

He knew this was very bad, especially when he heard the voice of the System having a slight horrified tone in it now.

[Accept the deal!]

She previously didn't want to force him, but right now they didn't have much of a choice. The worst case scenario had happened; the Cocoon of Finality had found out there was a Present.

Although Sa's one was a bit of a surprise, it didn't matter. Right now they legitimately couldn't afford to deal with either of them, and if Terminus hadn't told them about it, they may have had to deal with even bigger headaches!

She didn't even know how the Cocoon did it! Was it that terrifying? It has only been 2 Eruptions!! How did MEI and the others beat this monstrosity!?

“I accept it, damned Cocoon.”

Juviel didn't mind, and was originally intending to agree after talking to the System a bit about whether it was more beneficial to join than to not join. But it seems there really wasn't much of a choice now.

[He agreed, we agreed with it. I have given you sufficient authority, please do fix it!]

Terminus seemed to be very pleased to see that, and an appendage that looked like a hand materialised out of thin air. This hand then flicked something over to Juviel, which he caught easily.

Immediately, a description started appearing.

[Token of Finality(Mythic)

So long as you possess this Token, the Laws of Space-Time will not voluntarily harm you.

Your luck has increased by 50%, however the black hole luck caused by the Banner made it so that this change isn't noticeable.

This Token represents the friendship you have with Terminus.

Showing this Token to Elio, the Destiny's Slave will allow you to become a Stellaron Hunter.

Congratulations, you have achieved a feat that is near impossible! You have received the title ‘Friend of Finality’.

Friend of Finality(Mythic Title):

When equipped:

The Laws of Space-Time have recognised you, even without the power of Remembrance or Enigmata, you will not be harmed by any Laws related to Space-Time in the past.

Except when you make great changes to history; this requires the power of Enigmata and extreme strength.]

Juviel took in a sharp breath, uncle Terminus always gives out goodies whenever they meet. All of the goodies were brilliant in terms of quality too!

“[Well, what are you waiting for? Give me access.]”

Oh right oh right, the System had nearly forgotten it from the two Mythic things Juviel had gotten. Thankfully she snapped out of it and carefully materialised a small cube out of thin air, which fell right on top of the hand that Terminus materialised.

This cube held a mini Solar System inside it, so Juviel was quite interested in it. But Terminus had already started tinkering with it, so he couldn't see much. Looking at the process, he concluded that it would take some time.

So he sat down and opened the Dorm panel out of boredom, and surprisingly Aponia was in her room. Immediately he thought she got in trouble or faced some sort of danger which forced her to enter, so he quickly told the System to relay his concerns to Aponia.

It didn't take long before he heard the gentle, soft voice of Aponia. Carrying with it a slight tone of affection and happiness.

“[Nothing happened. The new orphanage simply took in a few more batches of kids, so I felt a bit burnt out and wanted some time to myself..]”

It seems she was happy that he checked up on her, but overall it was actually a pure coincidence. In other words, his gacha like luck pulled good luck this time.

She was very grateful for the help Juviel provided, even the medical facilities that got installed in the orphanage were the most recent and advanced. Aponia could see the effort he put in for her.

So many kids recovered as a result of getting proper aid, and she felt like she was dreaming. Even the threads of fate she saw that indicated that the kids were going to die had disappeared. Instead, now the threads showed that they were going to be living happily.

She wanted to prepare a gift for him, or make a meal as a way to show her gratitude, but was uncertain whether she could get one that he liked. Setting all those thoughts aside, she knew the first thing she had to do was to invite him over.

“[Could you come over soon? I.. I miss you.]”

Then the call hung up, probably out of embarrassment for having said such a thing. Juviel didn't need to think twice before he immediately agreed. Although she didn't know he agreed due to cutting the call, he had the System send over his message and Aponia was very happy.

He would come over once he comforts Yae and Rin, then go to Hua and assure her he was fine; she gets worried easily. Then he'd check up on Elysia's training progress before heading out to the orphanage. As for Mobius.. She can be prioritised after that.

“[It is done.]”

His thoughts got interrupted by the words that started forming, and the cube that was in Terminus' hand floated over to him. He looked at it a few times and only saw it to be a super realistic looking model of the Solar System.

[Thank you Terminus.]

After that, the cube vanished. Indicating that the System recalled it back. But Juviel still had a rather important question actually.

“How long would the Cocoon take to cross over to the present?”

The System thought it was immediately, and was occurring as they spoke. But reality was quite different.

“[In your time, it should take around 10-20 years.]”

The System and Juviel both fell silent, wouldn't the Final Herrscher descend before that and destroy everything? And MEI's plans would also take effect, basically reducing the Cocoon's chances of success to 0.

Hold on, did we just get tricked into free labour?
