POV (Y/n)

(Y/n): *pants* *pants* *pants* "that's... The last of them..." *pants* *pants* *pants*

After taking down all the assassins in front of me, I started to head back to my sister's place, running as fast as I can to make sure they are ok. However...

(Y/n): "Shit!" *Charges the assassin that just attacked*

As I slash at the assassin and kill him, he cuts my face with his chained scythe. Once he's dead, I lean on my sword which is barely holding me up since it's getting close to breaking.

(Y/n): *pants* *pants* *pants*

After I catch my breath, I look to the side to see my 10 year old niece, looking scared.

Uramu: *scared* "u-uncle (n/n)?..."

(Y/n): "Uramu!" *Runs to her and hugs her* "Thank god you're ok!" *Breaks the hug to ask her something* "Uramu! Where's your mother and father?"

When I ask that, she looks down, sad.

Uramu: "... Papa is gone... And mama is..." *Looks behind her*

I tell her to go hide while I look for her mother. After she's hidden, I go to where she was looking to see Shizuka close to dead.

(Y/n): "SHIZUKA!" *Runs to her* "Shizuka, wake up, please!"

POV third

No matter how many times you try to wake her, she doesn't move, her body cold. You pull her close, crying. You then noticed the dagger near her hand and realized what happened... She took her life, hoping they'd leave Uramu alone... Sadly, it worked...

Time Skip

After burying her, you pick up her dagger and hold it near your face.

(Y/n): "... I'll keep Uramu-chan safe... I give you my word..."

You then get up, put the dagger away, and head to where Uramu is...

Present time

You begin to wake up from the dream you were having, noticing Uramu isn't near you.

(Y/n): "Uramu-chan?"

Uramu: "Over here!" *Jumps out from behind a tree* "Ready to go?"

(Y/n): "Heh, yeah, let's go, oro." *Gets up and begins to walk*

Uramu and (Y/n) Himura, two people who have suffered a fate worse then fate. These two only wish to find a place to call home. And now...

(Replace Natsu, Lucy, and Happy with (Y/n) and Uramu)

They've reached the famous Fairy Tail guild...
