Renjun and Jeno sadly had to eat at the cafeteria, the school garden was having a cleaning today and no one could get in except for the janitors.

They sat at the very corner to avoid anyone and Renjun frowned when he saw Jeno having nothing to eat, informed that the bakery was busy this morning, "have mine," he insisted.

He slides his lunch, which is BudBud, Jeno shyly takes and thanks him with a smile, he smiles back as they talk about something while sharing the native filipino food.

Suddenly, they noticed the lunch room getting quiet, now in hushed whispers as Renjun looks around and widens his eyes.

Before the elder could warn his friend who's obliviously eating his snack, starving from the lack of breakfast, a bucket was tipped over the raven's head and the sound of laughter erupts.

Jeno gasps as Renjun slams his hands on the table, "what the fuck is wrong with you?!" He yells, Jeno tries to clean his glasses and slowly looks up to see Jaemin and Jisung, the latter holding the empty bucket.

He took a sniff and grimaced in disgust, it was the trash bin.

Jaemin grins as Jisung was laughing behind him, he turns towards Jeno and glares, "don't fucking mess with me or my girlfriend," he said as the two walks back to their table.

Renjun throws an empty and dirty can of soda towards them, it didn't go that far but whatever, he looks at Jeno who was trying to shrink on his seat from the attention he was recieving.

The elder grabs their stuff and takes Jeno's arm, dragging him to the nearest restroom to clean up. Ignoring everyone in the lunchroom laughing at them, or more specifically, Jeno.

Meanwhile that was happening, Chenle laughed and high fives the two friends, "nice job guys!" He laughs.

Jisung smiles in triumph as Jaemin sits on his seat, Mark, their senior friend looks around, "hey Jaem?" The said boy hums as he gulps down his soda, "where's Hana?"

Jaemin shrugs and as if on cue, Hana and Jeongin enters the room and sits on their seats, both of them a bit messy as Jeongin was seemingly wiping off something.

"Hey babe," Hana smiles and kissed Jaemin's cheek. The caramel haired smiles back wrapping his arms around her waist.

"Hey princess," he smiles kissing her temple, "where'd you go?" He asked grabbing his coke.

Hana fixes her hair and plays with Jaemin's button, "I was just getting something from my locker," she reasons, "but I'm here now," she winks and Jaemin chuckles before pulling her into a kiss quickly turning into a make out session.

Renjun gives Jeno an extra hoodie and thankfully, the raven brought an extra mask.

He was now cleaning the boy's glasses as the said boy was sitting on the sink, swinging his legs like a child. He feels so bad for Jeno and wants to punch Na Jaemin's face for everything.

Jeno was playing with the strings of Renjun's hoodie, "thank you again injun," he said as he brings the string up his mouth.

Renjun also adapted to Jeno's habits quickly, the boy likes to play when he wants to and often behaves himself when he's told to. He also looks like he could beat someone up but that's just what he looks like when he's not smiling.

He learned Jeno was a soft and shy person, very fragile in the inside, but his appearance when he's not smiling or being himself, is sort of manly. A facade if you will.

Renjun didn't mind Jeno's habits or change of personality, it was as if he's bipolar but he's not sure. He lets the younger bite and chew on the string mindlessly as he talks.

"No problem Jen, I'm your friend remember?" Jeno visibly smiles widely at the mention of 'friend', he nodded along like a puppy. Also another thing Renjun noticed was the boy was between a kitten and a puppy.

He liked both, and he also knows Jeno likes cats the most, though, still loves every animal, he also knows the boy is allergic despite his adoration for the creatures.

Jeno was a special friend for Renjun, someone he considers as a brother rather than a friend. Someone he'd treat like family and protect like he was supposed to.

They hang out in the bathroom for awhile, luckily only two guys went in to do whatever they were doing, until they heard one of them moaning. They laughed silently as Renjun was dramatically gagging.

Jeno laughed even more but trying to keep the sounds in, they heard the bell rang and rushed out to their next class with Renjun turning the lights off in the restroom, "don't get caught dudes!" He warns sarcastically.

Jeno snorts at him and nudges his arm as they walk to class.

A few months later, Renjun and Jeno stuck together side by side each day, the elder being there for his friend whenever he gets bullied by Jaemin and his friends or anyone actually

One time, Renjun got detention for kicking a guy's leg as he fell on the floor, spraining his ankle. Perks on learning martial arts.

The student was pushing Jeno to a locker and dumping all of his stuff from the bag, even stole his bread. Stupid bitch.

Renjun didn't care about getting detention, atleast Jeno was alright. The younger would wait for him outside of the classroom or accompany him as he cleans the gums off the tables.

School was now over for today and Jeno was walking to his locker, Renjun was sadly talking to a teacher after he told someone off when they laughed at Jeno who stuttered in his presentation and tripped walking back to his seat.

The raven haired puts the code in and gasps in surprise to see slime in his locker blasting out, it made a huge mess and also mildly hitting him, he scrunched his nose and sees the students laughing at him.

They were holding their phones as they recorded everything and he felt so embarrassed. Luckily, Renjun runs over to him and helps him clean the goo up.

A teacher sees the commotion and starts nagging at them, they both got in trouble for making a mess but they will also find whoever did this tomorrow.

Or so the bitch thought.

Renjun sees Hana giggling with her friends and Jeongin right beside her, they were too close for being friends. He was confused and also remembered Jaemin was at football practice.

"Could it be?" Renjun thought but brushed it off, he'll get into it more later on.

As of now, a snitch needs to snitch on a snake, "Mrs. Park, Hana did it," he pointed confidently.

Mrs. Park looks at Hana and she freezes, the teacher asked if it's true and she lies once again. Renjun rolled his eyes, "then explain that," he pointed at the box of slime mix inside the bucket Yeri was holding.

Hana panics and comes up with something, "It's for a project," she excused. Renjun was clearly not loosing this, no way, not when the clue was right there.

He glares, "I'm pretty sure we have the same classes together and no teacher has given us any projects," he said, "liar," he smirks.

Mrs. Park gives Hana and her friends detention after that, Jeno grabs Renjun's arm and shuts his locker after he had grabbed his stuff. Not like he has much unlike Donghyuck.

Mrs. Park told them the janitor will clean Jeno's locker later and will be surely cleaned tomorrow morning.

They nodded and bowed respectfully as Renjun helps Jeno with his stuff, "do you have a shift later?" He asked on the way home.

Jeno nodded sadly, "it's okay," Renjun smiled and waves goodbye when they arrived at the raven haired's house. Donghyuck wasn't home nor his mother, so Jeno was glad about that as he rushed in.
