Brightkit woke up,she leapt on her paws and nuzzled Shadowkit."Wake up!Shadowkit.stop being a such a bore!"Brightkit urged her sister.Sorrelkit raced across the den,missing Brightkit by a mouse tail,"Hey!Watch where your paws go!"Brightkit mewed grimly,whipping herself from Sorrelkit."Sorry!My ceremony is today!"Meowed Sorrelkit.

"Let all cats old enough to catch prey gather at  High stump!"Needlestar yowled rang out,Cats slipped out dens,as Sorrelkit walked to the stump,her mother followed behind her."Today,We have a ceremony to perform,Sorrelkit has reached age of six moons,Sorrelkit step up!"Needlestar yowled,Sorrelkit stepped up,her fur bristled with excitement,"Sorrelkit,until you earn your warrior name,you will be known as Sorrelpaw!!Breezefang,this is your first apprentice ,I hope you pass your skills upon this apprentice,just as I have done to you!"Needlestar yelped.

Breezefang  and Sorrelpaw touched noses,The other apprenticed bounded up to her and greeted her.Breezefang padded to nursery,seeing his kits."Breezefang!Can we be apprentices!?"Brightkit begged,"How about when your six moons?"Breezefang snorted."That will be 100 moons long!!"Shadowkit complained

Breezefang nodded as he disappeared."Talking about Apprentices..Who think our mentors be?"Brightkit asked,Shadowkit shrugged.The two kits slipped out of den,Their eyes wide with surprise,They were not able too see camp,since word got out about a fox loose in forest.

Now that fox was killed  by drowning in nearby river,Shadowkit darted across clearing to find warrior dem,Brightkit zoomed past Sedgefur and Autumnfall.The deputy lost her balance,nearly crushing the zooming kit.
"Slow down young kit!"Vipernose yowled,as he helped the deputy up.

Brightkit  flashed a  apologizing look and turn around,She followed her sister to take a peek of warrior dens.The scent were mixed of all kinds of cats,catching Thier father's scent.An a faint smell of Thier mother's.

The two kits turn and darted to elder's den for a story."Hello little kits,You must be Icefur's kits.Welcome to the clan!"Thunderhawk mewed,his voice was  was old and yet strong.A snort came from a another nest."Better make sure you two,don't disturb me!"Sandbreeze grunted,ginger cat twisted in her nest.

Thunderhawk ignored the she cat's stubbornness and open his jaws"I will tell you two a story...About how my apprentice..Many, many, moons ago..I was assigned a apprentice  to train,Two days before his warrior ceremony,a Badger got him,when he was drinking from river,I heard him yelp"Thunderhawk mewed,his gaze filled with sorrow.

"A patrol containing  me and some others searched for him,we found him dead by river..Luckily we chased the badger out of out territory,a day after."Thunderhawk stopped,"Well,hurry to your mother,kits."The kits exchange glances and turn away.

Icefur hissed as Shadowkit padded in,Icefur's claws slashed,the young kit in ear,leaving a v-mark.Shadowkit yelped,trembling in pain.Brightkit stood in front of  her,defending her sister,Brightkit snarled at her mother,her eyes locked on Icefur.Icefur curled her lips in a snarl and whipped her head in opposite way of kits.

Brightkit and Shadowkit,slept in Brindleheart's old nest,keeping each other warm for the night.Breezefang padded in,surprise to see his kits,alone in a nest,he licked his kits and stared at Icefur and left.
