BRIGHTPAW POV

I slip out,to see Shadowpaw talking to Sorrelpaw and Gorsepaw.I move towards them,then I stop and move again to group."Hi."A gasp came from Sorrelpaw."Hi!"Gorsepaw mewed " You scared us!"Shadowpaw purred,amusement glowed in her eyes

"Brightpaw!Time for Training!You got to catch up!"Lakefoot yowled as I dart across clearing,to greet my mentor."Hello Lakefoot!"I mewed at gray tom,who turns to exit.I follow behind,we arrive at clearing with soft sand and tall trees.Puddlefrost padded out of bushes,"Puddlefrost is your partner for today,watch me."Lakefoot mewed,I sat and watch the two toms,Puddlefrost attacked,but missed as Lakefoot slid and swiped his belly with sheath paws,Puddlefrost stumbled,giving Lakefoot a chance to pin him.Brightpaw copied,her sliding was perfect,but she lost balance during pin the enemy.

I saw the Badger leap,when Gorsepaw showed us as kits,I gather all my strength,I jump and turn,landing on my paws behind Puddlefrost,I swipe at him."Very good!"Lakefoot purred,I glance,and then dart to a bush,I creep on a vole,sniffing around.I pounce and kill it one bite.I drop the vole in front of Lakefoot.He smiles at me,his chest fur puffs out with pride.We arrive back to camp,dropping my catch on pile,I grab stick and stab moss with mouse bile,I let moss press against  Jayheart's pelt,he purrs with joy."Finally,Those fleas better not come back!"Jayheart snorted.

Sandbreeze grunted"I might kill these fleas myself!"Brightpaw rolled her eyes,and padded to grumpy elder."Better!"Sandbreeze mewed grumpily. Sandbreeze turned and slept,as Jayheart and Thunderhawk ate a shrew,"Nice bedding today"commented Thunderhawk,taking another bite of shrew.Brightpaw nodded and left then ,walking to small stream,dipping her paws.Letting her paw swish and wave as mouse bile washed off.Brightpaw started to head back,when she heared little mews of kits,Her ears prickled,I sniffed and look around.Finding a scent trail,I crouch and move,each pawstep became more uncertain,as I spot a she cat and two little kits,I stalk and hide,but I spot blood and fresh scent of blood.

I stood up,the two kits mewling and crying,I nudge the she cat.She didn't move,blood was sprayed everywhere,I groom the kits and grab them both,Their mother must have died by blood loss during birth!The little scraps of fur,cry out.I stop and curl up,keeping them warm,When sun down came,I rose and took them to camp,cats gasped as they saw the kits,some murmuring among others.Lakefoot spotted me,and bounded to me"Kits?Who is their mother?"He asked,"She is dead,and they seemed hungry"I responded ,setting the kits down.Brindleheart came out of nursery,"Oh poor little kits...I will be proud to take them as my own."Brindleheart purred her eyes gleamed with plead and joy.Lakefoot nodded as I once again grab the kits.

I turn and look at look kits suckling softly on Brindleheart's milk,Mapleleaf pushed some Borage to the she cat,The two kits were named Starlingkit and Poppykit,Two little she kits were cute,kit fluff puffed from their ears.Starlingkit was a pale sandy giner she cat with white belly and Poppykit was a red ginger she kit,I would be a mouse brained to leave those kits to starve.Brindleheart told me the kits were only a half moon.

"Those kits are no good,they have rogue bloodline!"Hissed a cat,I turn around to see Gorsepaw mewling about the kits,"Mouse dung!That not true and you know it!"I growl,foam slip through my sharp teeth,Sorrelpaw padded and snarled at me"Shut up!You don't know!"I whip around,baring my teeth and returning to my nest.Sorrelpaw and Gorsepaw are so heartless!

.:NEXT DAY:.

I wake to find empty nest of Sorrelpaw and Gorsepaw,I spot them talking and looking at me.I duck my head as I head to forest.I stroll along faded path and twig snaps,I pad faster and then pawsteps became faster,my claws slid out and I turn to face not a enemy but Sorrelpaw,"What are you doing here?'I snarled,"Making sure you don't bring any more disloyal cats into the clan!"Anger burned inside of me,blinded by anger I jump,turning in mid air.

I sink my claws in Sorrelpaw's back,my hind claws sink near her tail,I yank out a paw and place my claws on top of her neck,stabbing through flesh,warm red blood met my claws,my claw slid down stopping at Sorrelpaw's hind legs,I jump off the her and turn,kicking her in the face.I breath heavily,darting to Sorrelpaw,my teeth pop out,digging in her head.I bite hard,hurled her up and slam her on some sharp rocks.Sorrelpaw crys out in pain,whimpering.I grab a fallen cave talon,aiming for Sorrelpaw's throat,I heaved up and dove down,piercing through the skin,fur and flesh.

Sorrelpaw let yowl ring,her eyes filled with terror.I licked my lips,better than prey.I grab her scruff and drag her body,in out of territory,finding a abandoned river,I heave her body into roaring dark water,her body disappeared among bank of river,leaving a trail of  blood,floating on top of water.I inhale and look at my reflection,my chin and mouth drip with scarlet blood,my eyes filled with joy.I let a laugh"Haha..Haha!Killing is so much fun!All blood and power,even the death is great!"I laugh,claws digging in the earth.

I dive in shallow part of river and wash up,blood disappeared within heartbeats,I step out and gulp a knot in my throat,I roll in dead fish and tiny mouse dung,hiding Sorrelpaw's smell,I look around and padded back to the camp. Webgaze whipped her nose up,"Urrghh!You smell like  dead fish"I pad to Maple leaf's den for garlic.

"Mapleleaf,help me get rid of this smell...Please"I mewed,Maple leaf let her nose twitch in disgust,I laid down,rolling in garlic,the stretch faded away as garlic scent lingered on my fur,"I know what your up to.."Maple leaf muttered under her breath.I turn and glare at her.I take a step and speak"I killed Sorrelpaw..so what?You are expecting Stormpelt's kits..A loyal medicine cat having kits!"I hissed,my claws came out,ready to slice the swollen belly,"The clan is too mouse brained to not notice"I spat,my tail brushed on Mapleleaf's chin.

Mapleleaf kicked me off and rose on her legs"Fine...I won't tell..for sake of my kits."She meowed at me,I smirked and turn,my eyes narrow at her before I leave for good,Mapleleaf went back,sorting her herbs,putting them on a rocky shelf.I duck and slip into the den,setting myself on my nest."Have you seen Sorrelpaw?"Gorsepaw asked,his gaze concerned,I nod and let sleep come over me.

I wake in a dark place,my home,my cats.The dark forest,I pad along the eerie place to meet my other mentor,Hello Dewstar.I pad to him touch noses with him.I spot Voleclaw,I nuzzle him and lick his cheek.
