Mapleleaf nuzzled Stormpelt,her kits kicked and squirm in her belly.Mapleleaf grunted and mumbled with pain,laying down in bed of moss and leaves.Her enegry ebbed away as she laid in the nest.Mapleleaf yowled as her kits pushed their way into the world.She spoke,telling Stormpelt what to do.

Few heartbeats later,Four little kits mewling and crying out."Amberkit for our little ginger she kit and  Elmkit for brown tabby tom,Sliverkit for sleek sliver tom,You name the last one"Mapleleaf purred her tail wrapped around the kits.The last kit was brown with creamy brown stripes."Ferretkit"Stormpelt mewed his gaze glowed in sun's set.Mapleleaf rose on her paws,losing a little of balance,as her teeth grabbed two little scruffs.

The two cats padded in as Needlestar was calling,"Brightpaw,Shadowpaw and Webagze,Lakefoot,Thunderhawk and Flamewhisker and Redthorn shall go to gathering!!"Needlestar mewed loudly.Cats emerged from their dens,tails dragging behind as they ducked their heads and slipped out of camp.Before Needlestar left,Mapleleaf and Stormpelt showed the kits,Needlestar's eyes widen with surprise and flicked his tail to the nursery."Take them to Honeylight,She has plenty of milk since one out of five kits survived."Needlestar said,his gaze filled with sorrow.

Mapleleaf and Stormpelt padded in the nursery,pushing their way to Honeylight.They sit the four kits on gorund,Honeylight licked them and curled her tail around them.Stormpelt stared at  Dandelionkit,the little yellow kit.The only surviving kit of her litter,The four little kits squirmed and suckled Honeylight's  extra fresh milk.

Mapleleaf turned around,fur lying flat that no cat asked who their parents were.Stormpelt disappeared into warrior den,as Mapleleaf went to hers,Mapleleaf let come over,(Flashback)"Good Maplepaw!Very good with battle skills"Fernheart mewed,padding back to camp,Sunleap the medicine cat stared at her.Maplepaw felt a knot in her belly and looked away."Maplepaw!Let's go hunt!"Fernheart mewed,padding to her.Maplepaw leaped to her paws,her tail swished as her eyes gleamed.She streaked  through hole and sniffed for prey.Just as she was gonna pounce,two glaring eyes gleaming at her,Maplepaw paused"Fernheart?"She spoke,A growling sound filled her ears.It wasn't Fernheart!It was a dog!! 

The dog jumped out of bush,fangs ready and snapping,tongue swiped on teeth.The huge golden dog pounced,claws and paws outstretched,Suddenly A gray tabby fur appeared between Maplepaw and the dog.Maplepaw felt weight push her as she rolled under a bush,hitting her head at base of bush,her world blacked out.Maplepaw woke up,her eyes blurred for few seconds. When everything cleared,a gray limp body was lying near a tree."Fernheart!No!"Maplepaw yowled."Maplepaw..I am sorry..I must leave,I won't come back,I am sorry.."Fernheart mumbled,blood bubbled from her gash on her neck.

"Also keep my special rock safe"Fernheart mewed,a shiny rock was revealed."I was going to show you..farewell"Maplepaw yowled in sorrow {TIME SKIP}Maplepaw looked up in stars,She lost her inspiration to be a warrior,she kept the rock safe,near her and in her nest.Maplepaw knew she wanted to a medicine cat,so that no apprentice would feel her pain!![End Of Flashback]

.:Gathering:.

Brightpaw walked among her clanmates,Shadowpaw at her side,dark fur pressing against hers.Brightpaw felt her fur bristle with amazement,The gathering place,had Two tall flatten top rocks,between the rocks was a huge tree.Clan cats scattered,scents mixing up.Shadowpaw left her side to meet Troutpaw and Blazepaw.Brightpaw  felt her body panick,who will she go and meet?

Taking a deep breath,she walked through the group of cats,Meeting Fishpaw"Hello!My-y name is Fishpaw"Fishpaw murmured shyly."Hi..I am Brightpaw"Brigthpaw greeted.The two apprentices talked about prey,gossip,clanmates.(TO SHADOWPAW)Shadowpaw sat down,her tail wrapped around her paws nervously,"Hi Troutpaw!"She purred,her gaze met his."Hello Shadowpaw,That mouse you caught was tasty!"He mocked,Blazepaw sneered at them both and walked away.Shadowpaw felt a burning feeling inside her,but it only happen when Troutpaw was around."Hey Troutpaw.wanna meet here?Maybe at night?Tomorrow.."Mumbled Shadowpaw,Troutpaw looked around and nodded.

Shadowoaw's fur shook with happiness and she turn to find her sister.As she padded to Brightpaw,Echostar jumped on of rocks as Needlestar pounced on opposite one."Cats of all clans!Listen to hear our words!"Needlestar meowed,echoing among the clan cats."I will share first"Echostar purred,taking a step."We have a new apprentice,Fishpaw!Also Flowersong had litter of two kits,Swiftkit and Berrykit."

"Fishpaw!Flowersong!"Clan cats echoed,Nightpool shot Spruceclan cats,a death glare."I will go,We have two new apprentices,Shadowpaw and Brightpaw!One of apprentices were found dead,Honeylight had my kits,we also took in some stray kits for sake of the code!"Needlestar yowled,his fur glowing in moonlight.

"Shadowpaw!Brightpaw!Honeylight!"Snowclan and Spruceclan mewed loudly.The two clans started to part ways,cats dashed to their own clan,"Bye Troutpaw!"Shadowpaw mewed,waving her tail,Brightpaw took a breath and padded with her clan.Brightpaw felt fresh scent of her clanmates as she entered the camp.Brightpaw fully turned to spot her sister,darting to the den.

Trailing behind Shadowpaw,Brightpaw  padded to her nest,tail swept off specks of  soil,Brightpaw woke up,meeting Voleclaw and Dewstar.The trees creaked and sharp breaths echoed within fighing cats.Brightpaw locked her eyes on Blazepaw,She  took a pawstep and breathed in and out,She gathered all of strength in her haunches and jumped,pinning him down.Her claws slid down his belly,as he yowled in pain.Brightpaw felt claws stab her chest,she whipped up and lost balance.

"Your weak,Blazepaw!"Voleclaw howled,"We need strong cats,not weaklings!"Dewstar growled,"Kill him!"Swiftscar demanded Brightpaw,Brightpaw gulped and pinned Blazepaw,He whimpered and his eyes gleamed in terror,Brightpaw dived her head in,giving the apprentice the killing bite.Blazepaw shook and blood oozed out,Moments later last of life ebbed away. The blood flowed to river near by.Brightpaw slumped over the body,pushing it into the river.

Brightpaw paused,looking over at cats of dark forest.Swiftscar padded to her"You want to know something?You have two fathers.."Brightpaw stepped back,taken by surpirse."No!Your lying!"Brightpaw snapped at him.Brightpaw turned around,running away.

She bumped into something.It was Icefur,"Icefur!"words slipped out with anger."Shush!I have to tell you something."Icefur mewed,Shadowpaw appeared out of nowhere."Brigthpaw!What are you doing in my dream??"Black apprentice asked."Your dream?This is my dream!"Brightpaw protested

"I was chasing a mouse..then I ended up here!"Shadowpaw explained,licking her paw."What you dream about?"."Uhh..uh..Being clan leader!Yep clan leader " Brightpaw lied,suppressing her panick."Pfffttt!!Boring!"Shadowpaw purred,her tongue pointed at me."Hey!!"Brightpaw shot glare.

"Kits..Stop!I need to talk to you!"The two apprentices stopped,looking upon Icefur."Brightpaw,are you wondering why you look different from Shadowpaw and Breezefang?Well I had few mates in my life..Swiftscar was one,he killed my first litter.He died a moon later.Your other father is... is.. Heatherwhisker.I fell in love,but he left me two moons before you were born."Icefur spoke,Her fur bristled.

"No...no No!!!"Brightpaw yelled,feeling tears roll down her cheek.She stumbled and turned.Brightpaw woke up,Shadowpaw was still asleep.Brightpaw stood on her paws and  squeezed out,Looking up at Blue sky.Brightpaw sinked her claws into soil and growl rumbled her throat.Heatherwhisker is next to fall!!She felt every bit of trust ebb away into nothing

__Dark FOREST__

Voleclaw bounded across,He blinked at Dewstar and then  met Swiftscar's gaze."Brightpaw can't cope with two fathers in different clans too!!"Swiftscar purred,amusement made his fur shake,Voleclaw brisked to the others.

Cats were stirring among each other,gathering for a meeting."Cats of Dark forest,We shall rise and take down the clans!!!We are way better than dark forest with those four clans!We shall rise and clans will fall!"Dewstar yowled,Cheers echoed and rang within the forest.Voleclaw made his way through and parted away from the group.He leaned over looked at a large puddle,'oh Brightpaw..I love you"He whispered to himself,heart beating like rain pattering on ground and scorching.

Dewstar,Dawnwind,Shadenose and Voleclaw padded to border of light and dark,A low growl rumbled at opposite side,"What now?"Hissed a voice.A  gray and black tom padded out,his pelt glossy and he looked strong,Soarstar let his claws slide out,long white curved claws."You shall fall!"Shadenose spat at them,Rainfur growled,his teeth bared and arched ready to attack."Fine..we shall do this the hard way!!"Dawnwind  declared among starry cats.Shadenose leaped at Rainfur,The two wrestled on ground.Soarstar leered at Dewstar,attacking the gray tom.

Voleclaw pinned  Clovertail,cutting her chest.Clovertail kicked him hard,he rolled away."That all you got?"He snorted,Clovertail's tail lashed as she zigzagged and headbutted Voleclaw."Retreat!"Dewstar called,beckoning his tail at cats.The ark forest cats turned around and disappeared in dark spooky bushes of dark forest."You better stay away!!"Rainfur yelled.

(Starclan) (ON EARTH!!)(Clan too!)

Icefur peered through thin fog over the border,Soarstar padded to her,sitting at her side."It my fault!Brightpaw is evil!"Icefur mewed,her tail twitched."Not your fault,destiny is what a cat must follow."Soarstar purred,Icefur dipped her head in acknowledgment."Actually,It might be Heatherwhisker's fault for loving me first and leaving me.."Icefur spoke under her breath.

"Brightpaw killed me and the fox cub...The fox finished me off!"purred Icefur,Soarstar's eyes widen.Darkclaw appeared,his fur dark as night and eyes bright as sun."What are you two doing?'Darkclaw asked,Soarstar's younger brother.The wind whistled as it  brushed the pelts of starry cats

A small stream running down,the grass whispered and nodded within touch of a breeze.The night was still young,stars scatter among dark sapphire sky,as three cats hovered and trotted back to sky.Leaves danced and whirled,as Crowmoon whirled his tail around his paws,chill slithered down his spine,Gorsefall had heavy dark bags under his eyes.The sun rose,waking up,Shadows grew longer.
