FOX ATTACK!!

-Two nights earlier- 

Inkpaw slid out and trotted to SnowClan border, he glanced at wound on his chest.  Pair of green eyes shined at him. "Mother!" He mewed as Shadowglow appeared, A river flowing between them.

Inkpaw leaped on a stone and shifted across the river. "How are, Ripplekit and Echokit and Sandkit ?"  Inkpaw asked. "They are fine, only 2 moons." Inkpaw nodded and turned to head back,  just as reached second stone, his paws slid and he slipped into river.

"Help! Help!" Inkpaw called, tuft of fur torn off from log. Shadowglow ran along shore, following her son. He vanished over the waterfall, Shadowglow froze, "No..no." She ran and looked over the edge. Nothing but shadowy lands.

Shadowglow flatten her ears and walked back to camp, curled up with her kits, tucking her paws in. Troutfoot was sleeping, Fishnose slept with them, her two kits near her belly.

--Next Day--
Shadowglow woke, she avoided river as best as possible. Troutfoot came in and plopped a mouse for her, as she chomped it and let her kits suckle. Echokit rose and snuck and leapt on Cloudkit. "Hi ya!" Echokit cried out, Two kits were rolling. Dust sent everywhere.

"My fur!" Ripplekit growled, as Eaglekit was with Sandkit. "We only two months! You guys are 6 moons..Unfair." Sandkit said Crossley. Fishnose trotted in, grabbing Cloudkit "Honestly, kits. Today is your big day. I need your fur to be spotless!" She swiped her tongue, flattened Cloudkit's fur.

Cloudkit squirmed, "No!" She yelped. Fishnose quickly groomed her tail and let Cloudkit go. "Your turn!" She stared at Eaglekit as she dragged him over. "Done!" She purred. "Let all cats old enough to catch prey gather here for a clan meeting!!" Hawkstar yowled

"Two kits have reached age of six moons."

"Cloudkit and Eaglekit, step forward! Until Cloudkit earns their warrior name, They will known as Cloudpaw! Firethorn, you will mentor this apprentice.  Eaglekit will be known as Eaglepaw! Troutfoot your his mentor." Hawkstar yelped.

"Cloudpaw! Eaglepaw!" Cats parted ways, Echokit ran to Cloudpaw and Eaglepaw, "Lucky furballs!" She mewed as Two apprentices laughed. "Hey you two we got to go!" Eaglepaw  and Cloudpaw whirled around and scurried to their mentors.

Eaglepaw seemed a bit uneasy with his mentor. Shadowglow flatten her ears, eyes with sorrow, She kept getting good visions of her son, vanishing in the river. Spruceclan scent washed in, Shadowglow rose with curiosity, She peeked out to see her old clanmates.

Elmlake, Dandelionfur,  Briarfoot and Puddlefrost were facing Hawkstar, Stormhawk and Berrytail, "One of our apprentices has gone missing, Have you se-" Puddlefrost was mewling when Hawkstar stepped in "No! Take your cats back before you leave wounded!" He snarled.

Spruceclan cats backed away and disappeared. Echokit squeezed and climbed on Shadowglow's back. "Who were they?" She asked. "Just visitors." Shadowglow replied. Ripplekit and Sandkit let yowl as fox broke in.

"Noo! Echokit. Go get help!" Shadowglow mewed while facing the fox, Echokit ran out, Shadowglow pounced and bit fox's back, tossing her off. She slammed into wall, Fox rose a paw and sliced at Sandkit, as ginger kit wailed. Just then Stormhawk charged in, clawing the fox.

Eaglepaw appeared, he leapt and clung on Fox as it snarled and snapped. Eaglepaw swiped and then Ripplekit leapt and sank his claws in Fox's face, Ripplekit gripped one his paws as others dangled, He got all fours on and slashed across fox's face.

Shadowglow  got on her paws and she bit the throat. The fox was dead, it reeked of blood and death. "Well that went well" Stormhawk huffed. (Later) Sandkit was taken to Swiftwing's den, As Swiftwing checked every cat's wounds and left to check Sandkit's.

Shadowglow slid in medicine cat den, Eaglepaw leaned over, nuzzled her kit, He whispered something but she was to far away to hear it. "Your really concerned for her." Shadowglow meowed, shot a suspicious look at Eaglepaw. Eaglepaw said nothing, he raced past and left.

Shaodwglow went out and found Eaglepaw eating a rabbit. "I thought you were out training." She murmured, Eaglepaw didn't  look at her but spoke "We found Fox scent and needed to report it...And because..*sigh* nothing" He was hiding something!
