Chapter 4: Revelations

Footsteps. The sound of running footsteps could be herd. A young boy was running away.

Boy: *Panting*

???: Come oooouuuuuttt~

This boy was currently being chased by a murder.

???: Come on little boy, don't you want to join your sister and mother?

The boy was crying out of fear and sadness. He had a knife in his hand for protection. The kid finally found a place to hid, a closet.

???: Please little boy, I want to make this as quick as possible. I have places to be and other people to take care of.

The man approached the boys hiding place.

???: Maybe your in her-

The door bursted open and boy came out screaming thrusting the knife at the murder.

Boy: HIYAAAAAAA!

The scene turned to white a voice was speaking.

???: -ster? Master? Master?

Makoto: Huh?

Makoto was waking up from another dream. He was greeted by his new servant, Saber.

Saber: Your awake. That's good.

Makoto: What time is it?

Saber: 2:25. Well that what is says on the clock. By the way why do you have so many clocks in your house.

Makoto: My father put them there. I really don't know why but he likes time a lot. Anyway what happened last night, did I pass out.

Saber: Yes you did indeed. Don't worry though I patch you up.

Makoto: Thank you very much Uh... My I ask what is your name.

Saber: You may call me Saber. I don't feel like entrusting you with my real name yet.

Makoto: Real name. Well that doesn't matter, if it's fine by you then it's fine by me.

Saber: Now you should introduce yourself, unless you want to keep calling you Master.

Makoto: Yeah I wouldn't get used to you calling me Master Saber-San. My name is Makoto Grafen.

Saber: Makoto Grafen... has a nice ring to it.

Makoto: Thanks Saber.

Makoto sat up and got off the couch. He then looked down at his clothes.

Makoto: Man I'm going to have to get these replaced.

Saber: How did you obtain those rips Mas- Ahem I mean Makoto?

Makoto: I was stabbed in the chest by that guy in white and then had a sword rammed through my stomach. I don't know how my wounds healed. Someone must have healed them for me. If I ever somehow find them I need to thank them.

Ding dong.

Makoto: I wonder who that could be. Oh Saber can you please go upstairs.

Saber: Yes Makoto.

Makoto went to the door as Saber went upstairs. Makoto opened the door, the person who was ringing was-

Makoto: Y-Yuko-San what are you doing here?!

Yuko: Makoto! Are you hurt?! Are you ok?! Do you need help?!

Makoto: Whoa whoa whoa! I'm alright. Well a little tired but I'm good. Wait a second how did you know where I live.

Yuko: Byakuya-Senpai told me.

Makoto: Of course he did. Also your acting very strange.

Yuko: Well Uh... *Sigh* I'm going to need to explain some things to you. Can I come in?

Makoto: Yes you may.

A few minutes later.

Makoto was fixing some tea for Yuko. He came into the living room with it prepared. He set it down then sat down beside her.

Yuko: Soo...

Makoto: Last night. I remember everything, you were the girl that was with the guy in the skull mask.

Yuko: Wow... I didn't expect you to figure it out so fast.

Makoto: Well aren't you going to introduce me to him.

Yuko: Berserker you may come out now.

Berserker materialized in front of them.

Makoto: Whoa.

Berserker: Master there seems to be another servant here.

Yuko: Wait what?

Just then Saber came down the stair with her sword out.

Saber: Master!

Makoto: Saber Wait!

Yuko: EEEHHHHH?! S-S-Saber?! What the hell?!

Berserker/Makoto: Oh boy...

Makoto: Guess I'm going to have to recap what happened last night.

A few minutes later

Saber: And then Makoto passed out.

Makoto: And that's what happened.

Yuko: Wow, never expected you to be a Magnus.

Makoto: Magnus?

Yuko: You don't know what a Magnus is?

Makoto: To be 100% honest, I don't know what fuck is going on.

Yuko blinked a couple of times before her face turned into disturbed one.

Yuko: Oh no... you have been dragged into this. I'm so sorry. This is my fault.

Makoto: How is it your fault.

Yuko: You got dragged into this because I had to fight Assassin.

Makoto: Well it doesn't matter to me, as long as I'm alive then it's ok.

Yuko: Still unbelievable that you summoned one of the strongest classes of the Holy Grail War.

Makoto: Please explain.

Yuko: The Holy Grail War is a battle royal between Seven Masters and Seven Servants. Each master has their own individual Servant.

Makoto: I see, and by random bullshit luck I summon the Saber class.

Yuko: Yup. Still if you don't know what a Magnus is you basically don't have any magical circuits open. Or maybe you had some open and you don't know how to use them.

Berserker: Whatever the case is we need to let the overseer to know about him.

Makoto: Overseer. There is an overseer for this?

Yuko: Yes there is. There is priest at the church that overlooks this war.

Makoto: Well then let's go see this guy.

Saber: Um Makoto since you don't have any magic I can go invisible like Berserker here.

Berserker: She dose have point.

Makoto: What if we got her some clothing to make her fit in.

Yuko: Great idea.

Makoto: I wonder if any my mom's old outfit could fit you. Yuko-San, mind if you help me search the basement.

Yuko: Sure.

Makoto: Saber, you stay here with Berserker and get to know each other.

Saber: Ok? Well as you wish.

Yuko followed Makoto where the basement was. Saber and Berserker were just standing there awkwardly.

Berserker: So want me to fix you some tea?

Saber: Sure.

With Makoto and Yuko

Yuko: Wow this place is very big.

Makoto: Welcome to my basement. The place that holds the weirdest things in my house.

Yuko and Makoto start to look around. They start finding weird stuff.

Yuko: Wow there are a lot of items with Mana in them. Is anyone in your family a Magnus?

Makoto: Probably my dad.

Yuko: Any other family members.

Makoto: Don't really know and my mom and sister are dead.

Yuko: Sorry I asked.

Makoto: It's fine. But by any other family members I don't know. Maybe my grandma or grandpa.

Both of them were rummaging and talking. After a couple of minutes Makoto finally found some clothes that could fit Saber.

Makoto: Here we go.

Yuko: Hay whats this?

Yuko found a an old case that was locked.

Makoto: Huh, never seen this before. Then again there is a lot of stuff in here that I haven't seen.

Yuko: Want to open it.

Makoto: Yes but how do we open it.

Yuko used magic to break the lock on the case.

Makoto: Ok. Well let's see what this baby has in it.

Both of them opened the case. There was a strange sword inside.

Yuko had a surprise look on her face.

Yuko: This... is Berserker's weapon.
