Story 4: Encounter the Past 2

Part 2. Guardian Angel

The next day began a long series of days of Faye following little Yoko. At first it was not easy because Yoko did not like having someone following her around like that. Usually Faye would talk and Yoko would listen. Sometimes she would accidentally chat with Faye, and make the friends around her think she was talking to herself. So Faye told Yoko to put on her headphones, so people would think she was talking on the phone.

Yoko is a good girl who only knows how to go to school, go to the library and go back to the dormitory, so Faye is easy to be her friend and stay by her side. When she is too bored, Faye drags Yoko to the movies or shopping. With her fashion sense, Faye has almost completely replaced Yoko's wardrobe, making her already pretty, even prettier. Faye has always been very beautiful, but this has helped Yoko become much more confident.

One time Yoko didn't want to eat the cafeteria food so she decided to cook at home, but she fried an egg and it was burnt. Faye teased her so much, but she still showed off her cooking skills to Yoko. And the little girl seemed to have discovered a new continent, she didn't expect her guardian spirit to be able to cook so well . So there would be weekends when Yoko wouldn't even go to the cafeteria and would sleep in bed. Meanwhile, Faye would happily and indulgently make delicious food for her.

Gradually Faye realized that Yoko had no friends so one evening Faye decided to confide in her a little.

"I see a lot of your classmates are asking you to hang out. Why don't you join?" Sitting down on the bed next to Yoko, Faye pulled the book out of her hand and said

Yoko snatched the book back, puffed her cheeks and said, "I don't need friends, I have my sister."

"No.." Familiar Faye lay down right next to her: "You have to have friends, having friends is fun."

Yoko smiled, mischievously: "Not happy, talking too much makes me tired."

"Little girl, you are not like that. You will have many friends in the future." Faye shook her. Because Yoko was so small, she was almost lying in Faye's arms.

Hearing that, Yoko suddenly became unhappy: "Later is a matter for later. But now I have you, I don't need any more friends."

"What if I disappear?"

"Mali..." Yoko was unhappy, she turned her back to Faye.

"Yoko, be a good girl, go play with other friends, okay? I promise I'll be right by your side." Faye coaxed, her little girlfriend in every time and space would have times when she would get angry and need to be coaxed like this.

"..." Yoko turned around and glanced at Faye.

Faye smiled and pinched her cheek. After living together for a while, the 14-year-old girl was no longer as strange to her as before. Yoko would sometimes let Faye touch her cheek or hold her hand.

"I promise I will stay right by your side. If you feel uncomfortable while hanging out with friends, we can go home right away." Faye gently coaxed her.

14 year old Yoko eats soft food, not hard food. If you speak softly, she will listen, but if you speak harshly and forcefully, she will definitely react.

"..." Yoko lay still as Faye stroked her hair.

Faye smiled.

Since then, Yoko has gradually started to talk to her classmates more. Sometimes when her friends ask her to go out, Faye will follow from afar and watch. Faye makes sure Yoko has her own space, but when she needs Faye, Faye will appear immediately.

At school, Yoko loved art, but she was too shy to join such clubs. So Faye took a risk, tried to control a pen and enrolled her in all the clubs. This made Yoko angry for a few days. Faye had to coax and encourage her a lot before she opened up and tried to join the art clubs. Yoko later learned that Faye was very good at this field, from acting to singing and musical instruments. In any field, Faye gave advice and helped Yoko a lot to integrate with her friends.

Except for going to school, every afternoon after school, whenever Yoko wanted to go to any club, Faye would go with her. When they were alone, Faye would play the guitar and sing for her. She even drew pictures with her in an empty classroom.

Whether the two of them realized it or not, Faye had become an indispensable part of Yoko's life. At first, Yoko was shy because of Faye's appearance in her peaceful life. Once Yoko got used to it, Yoko no longer avoided Faye whenever she became familiar with her and leaned on her instead. Just like she used to worry about Yoko when she was 23, Faye now takes care of her a lot. Even when she saw that Yoko's hair was too long, Faye showed off her hair cutting and styling skills for Yoko, which surprised her greatly.

Because Yoko's guardian spirit is beautiful, talented, funny and gentle, Faye knows everything and especially loves Yoko very much. So the two of them become closer and understand each other more and more.

As cheerful as she was, there were still times when Faye would sit quietly and quietly for the entire session, leaving Yoko at a loss for how to comfort her. Each time this happened, Yoko noticed that Faye would often look at her and sigh. This made her realize that Faye might be missing another Yoko.

Tonight was another such evening, Yoko sat under the beanbag practicing her guitar while noticing that her guardian spirit was not in a good mood. She kept sighing the whole time.

"Your finger is wrong."

Faye saw Yoko practicing the guitar incorrectly and couldn't help but put aside her sadness and give Yoko advice.

"Let me show you.." Faye came and sat behind her, hugging Yoko's waist, holding her hand to place it on the strings correctly.

"..It has to be like this.. Index finger here..." Faye said, accidentally breathing lightly on Yoko face.

The two were so close that Yoko could see Faye's long eyelashes trembling slightly as she spoke. The seductive scent of perfume and the warm, plump body were embracing her.

"Understand?" Faye didn't realize how low her voice was now, she looked straight into Yoko's eyes.

She is really beautiful and mature. Even very... handsome. I am sure many girls like her.

Yoko suddenly thought of such a sentence and blushed.

She put the guitar aside and turned to look at Faye.

"Are you missing her?"

From the very beginning, Yoko made a clear distinction between her and her future self.

Faye nodded, her eyes still fixed on the guitar.

"What kind of person will I be many years from now?" Who was I that you remember so often?

Faye suddenly smiled gently, she put the guitar aside and then familiarly leaned her head on her little girl's shoulder:

"You are a little sun. You shine, you are beautiful, you are confident and attract everyone. Sometimes you are very stubborn and like to tease me. But that is just you. I often ask if you can be more obedient, you just smile and say why I am not used to you yet..."

"She is so cute.." That cute person, is it me?

"Yes, very cute. Yoko is the cutest person in the world. If one day you stop teasing me, it will probably be the saddest and loneliest day of my life."

Faye let go of her and lay down beside her, hugging her pillow, closing her eyes to reminisce. Her little girlfriend, she was actually here, right next to her at this moment, but Faye could not hold her the way she held Yoko. Even though they were the same person, their ages were different, and their circumstances were different.

Faye misses Yoko, misses Yoko at 23, misses her Yoko

"What if I can't do what I want to do?" Yoko hesitated.

"You mean you're still sad? What's wrong?" Faye was startled, sitting up and looking at the little girl.

Faye has been here for almost two months now, although she was a little nervous at first, the two of them have had a great time recently. Yoko has also gradually changed, she has more friends in class, participates in more extracurricular activities and smiles more every day. Faye can't think of anything that would make her sad.

"I'm here just to make you happy." Faye said seriously.

14-year-old Yoko suddenly had red eyes. At the moment when she was most bored, a spirit from the future appeared, saying that he wanted to make her happy and not want her to be sad anymore. To say that she wasn't touched would be a lie.

Yoko blinked and changed the subject: "The school is organizing a skiing trip next week, do you want to go?"

"Okay, but I'm not very familiar with it."

"Don't worry, I will teach you, hihi" Yoko happily said.

Faye smiled and pinched her cheek, then prepared to lie down on the topper to sleep. Yoko also put away her guitar and got into my bed.

Yoko wondered whether she should ask Faye to go to bed, but didn't know how to start the conversation so she decided against it.

That weekend the whole school went on a ski trip to the north. This time it was a joint trip between two high schools in the area. The trip lasted two days and one night, so it was very lively with a lot of students and teachers.

When she arrived, Faye learned that the co-ed school was an all-boys school. However, Yoko was very excited about going skiing, so Faye didn't think much of it and went along with her.

Being a beautiful soul who can choose any sports outfit she wants, Faye chose a professional ski suit and slowly followed Yoko on the slopes. At first, Faye was not used to it so she slid quite slowly, Yoko had to slide right next to her to guide her. Gradually, Yoko pushed Faye forward so that Faye could slide on her own.

Because they wanted to play comfortably, the two of them chose a deserted mountainside. After playing happily for a while, they were suddenly interrupted. A person quickly skied up and stopped right in front of Yoko. Of course, this person did not see Faye standing right next to him.

"Why are you skating alone?" he asked Yoko through his protective glasses, smiling.

"I like it that way." Yoko replied politely and was about to continue skating.

But the other guy stuck with her again: "Do you want to skate with me?"

Yoko stopped and shook her head again, then turned and skated away. The boy was ignored by Yoko but just smiled and skated away.

Faye slid beside Yoko from beginning to end, coldly Faye didn't say anything, just silence clearly showed that she was not interested.

"Let's go, sister." Yoko slid closer to Faye and smiled.

This was just a small stepping stone, but unexpectedly they met again so quickly.

At the end of that day, there was a dinner party for the students of both schools. There was also a special musical performance, and the boys' school band showed off their skills.

At this point, Faye really couldn't laugh anymore. Because Faye realized that the guy playing the electric organ was the one who wanted to ski with Yoko that morning. He was tall, Asian, had a decent face, and had a gentle smile that attracted girls.

And most of all, even though his face was slightly different from the photo, Faye finally recognized him. He was Pat, who would become Yoko's first boyfriend, the person Faye had been wary of and searching for all this time.

Pat seemed to recognize Yoko, playing the guitar and looking at her, nodding and smiling.

Yoko didn't understand the reason so she just nodded and smiled in return. Meanwhile, Faye standing next to her just felt sour.

Finally, this character has appeared. Yoko's life is starting to work out exactly as fate had planned.

What Faye disliked even more was when the principal of Yoko School began to make announcements. In preparation for the upcoming Christmas party, the two schools would combine to have their performing arts teams practice together for a month before the Christmas party. The upcoming party would be a party for students from both schools to organize and participate in.

Yoko is the lead singer in the school's art troupe.

Faye really wanted to cry, she was the one who put her name in that art troupe.

...

"Your name is Yoko, right?" Right after the performance ended, Pat immediately approached Yoko and wanted to get to know her.

"That's right." Yoko replied politely, not caring how he knew her name.

Pat smiled happily and had no intention of leaving, but continued talking to Yoko: "I heard from my friends that you also joined the art club. So we will have a chance to cooperate soon."

Yoko was busy looking around for Faye, so she didn't pay attention to what Pat said. She replied vaguely, "Yeah, nice to meet you. I have something to do, so I have to go first."

"If Yoko wants to ski tomorrow, find me to ski with you. Don't ski alone anymore." Pat kept calling after her.

But Yoko turned and walked away.

From the moment the evening entertainment program started, Faye started to feel angry inside. Unable to vent her anger, Faye went back to her room first.

Unexpectedly, even though she had prepared herself mentally and was an experienced adult, she was still furious the moment she saw that kid. Not to mention he was playing the piano while staring at Yoko without blinking. Faye really couldn't stand it, but there was nothing she could do.

Tonight's room was a double room, Yoko would be staying with another classmate of hers. Faye sat in her room, wondering whether she should go back to the party to pick Yoko up, when Faye saw her return.

"Why did you leave first?" Yoko smiled gently as she opened the door and walked in. She didn't know who Pat would become and didn't understand why Faye was angry.

Seeing her like that, Faye felt really wronged. She couldn't say it, nor could she hide Yoko away. She was now just a soul.

Even though Yoko is only 14 years old, she is still Yoko Apasra, Faye Peraya's future girlfriend.

It was undeniable that even though nothing had happened yet, Faye was still very jealous and worried.

"I want to take a bath." Faye avoided talking to Yoko and went straight to the bathroom. Only when they were alone together could Faye become a physical entity and do what she wanted.

Yoko's eyes widened. Living together for two months was enough for her to understand that Faye was angry about something. But Yoko couldn't figure it out. She hadn't done anything wrong all day.

When Faye finished showering and went out, she suddenly realized that this was only a double room with two beds and that Yoko's friend would be back in the room and sleeping in the other bed, so Faye suggested

"I'm going to find somewhere else to sleep tonight." Faye flipped through the magazine to choose another warm outfit, preparing to leave without saying anything more. She needed some space to sort out her thoughts.

Yoko's eyes widened in confusion. But when she looked at Faye with her long legs, long hair, beautiful bare face, wearing a thin silk pajama, preparing to find another place to sleep instead of staying with her. Yoko suddenly didn't want to. Even if she was the only one in the world who could see Faye, she still didn't want Faye to go anywhere else or find a room with anyone else.

"No, you sleep with me here." Yoko patted her bed.

Faye shook her head unconsciously: "The bed is too small, I will go find another empty room."

"Mali, sleep in the same bed with me." Yoko patted her 1.4m bed and said firmly.

This was the first time Yoko asked Faye to sleep in the same bed with her. Faye looked at Yoko, her face was white and pink, her features were chubby but her eyes were still filled with determination.

"You can't go," Yoko repeated. Then she didn't wait for Faye to answer but took her things and went into the bathroom.

For a fleeting moment, Faye saw the presence of 23-year-old Yoko. Determined and resolute.

I wish I could tell her everything.

I wish I could tell her that I don't like it when she talks to other guys.

I wish I could tell you that our future will be together. So please grow up peacefully until you meet me, okay?

Faye sighed, 9 years apart. How could she teach Yoko to protect herself in those 9 long years?

Faye realized that she was facing a serious problem. In this time and space, she was trying her best to protect Yoko and make her happier. However, there were inevitable things and challenges that Yoko would encounter. The person who brought her here would definitely not let her stay by her side for 9 years.

How to protect Yoko even after she's gone? Help her get rid of this bad guy, that's fine. But what about the next one, and the next one?

There was no denying that Faye was worried and feeling so sour inside that she was going crazy.

When Yoko came out of the bathroom clean and comfortable, she saw Faye sitting on the bed, sad and confused.

Yoko turned off all the lights except for the night light in the corner of the room next to the bed. Then she walked over to the bed, got under the covers and covered Faye with the blanket.

Then, Yoko gently patted Faye's shoulder, to reassure her and let Faye know that she was there.

I don't understand why you're worried, I just don't want to see you like that.

Faye closed her eyes slightly. Yoko was the same at her age. She was always so delicate and considerate of other people's feelings.

"I like someone very much. But I can't tell her. Now she's about to get to know someone who isn't good for her. What should I do?"

To open the bell, you have to find the person who tied it, Faye asked Yoko directly.

Does she like someone else?

Suddenly Yoko's heart was filled with sadness.

"Get her."

"Can't win. Can't never win because we belong to two different worlds."

"Then tell her that it's a bad relationship." Yoko didn't like it when Faye said that about someone other than her, but she still spoke honestly.

Faye lay on her side to look at Yoko.

"If I told you that your first love was a bad person. You shouldn't have liked that person. Would you believe me?"

Yoko looked at Faye without blinking. She carefully examined every feature on Faye's face, from her big, round, dark brown eyes, her delicate eyebrows, her fluttering eyelids every time she spoke, her high, slim nose, and her red lips that didn't need lipstick but were still bright red.

I never realized that girls could be so beautiful and attractive to other girls. Or maybe before I met Faye, no girl had ever caught my eye like that.

Hearing what Faye said, Yoko suddenly smiled.

"Do you know who my first love was?"

Faye nodded.

But Yoko smiled brightly again. The youthful and pretty face of 14-year-old Yoko Apasra lit up, her eyes filled with laughter, her cheeks and ears began to turn red. It was like the eyes of 23-year-old Yoko, eyes of maturity and understanding.

"No, Mali, you don't know."
