Story 4: Encounter the Past 6

Part 6. Guardian Angel

As if forced to grow up completely overnight, Faye lost the person who raised her from a young age, lost the person who taught her what is right and wrong. Faye was so affected by this heartbreaking incident that she almost lost her soul. From the beginning, she cried and screamed, saying to give her Big Mom back, until later, Faye couldn't cry anymore.

During the three days of staying by her side, Faye went from crying a lot, to being unable to speak and only able to shed tears, to having no more tears to shed. Her legs were bruised from kneeling for so long, she didn't say anything, just sat quietly by her side and greeted visitors. During that time, Yoko always sat by Faye's side without leaving her.

This time it was like being tortured, and both of them were being tortured. Yoko wanted to go crazy because she couldn't do anything. She couldn't comfort Faye, couldn't wipe away her tears, couldn't tell her that her grandmother had been peaceful and content before she left. Not being able to say any words of comfort tortured Yoko to death.

There were times when Faye cried so much and was in so much pain that Yoko couldn't bear to look at her. Her heart skipped a beat when she saw Faye so sad. At that time, Yoko could only run away to a corner so she wouldn't see Faye and she sat there crying. And because Yoko couldn't go far, she always heard all of Faye's sobbing to her grandmother, when it was late at night and no one was around.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have left Thailand, I should have been by your side. It was me who selfishly wanted to have my own life, it was me who left you alone..." Faye lay on the floor, lonely and cold, sobbing: "... I'm unfilial, unfilial. I should have realized your health condition. I should have come back earlier, I should have been by your side...huhu... Forgive me... I was not good, it was all my fault..." Faye kept crying and saying things like that for several nights in a row.

Faye's 22nd year, too much heartache

Yoko's tears fell drop by drop, the more Faye spoke the more Yoko cried, she sat right next to her and raised her hand to cover Faye's eyes

'Don't cry, your grandmother passed away peacefully. She loved you very much, worried about you very much... Please don't torture yourself anymore. It's not because of you, it's not your fault..'

"Because I was unfilial... because I was selfish, I just wanted to try to earn money for a better future. It was because I wasn't by your side.."

'Faye, stop talking, it's not you, it's not you.. Please, don't torture yourself anymore. Please.'

Those three days were not only hell for Faye, but Yoko also experienced all the suffering in her life.

...

No matter how painful the incident is, people still have to suppress their grief and face the difficulties in life. A week after the funeral, Faye returned to Hong Kong. Her future plans were unknown, but at the moment Faye still had a lot of things to deal with. The recent incident had caused Faye weight loss, and she looked very haggard. Yoko could see how hard Faye was trying to overcome it.

During the day Faye threw herself into her work, but at night she returned to an empty apartment, feeling heartbroken and lonely. There were nights when Faye woke up from nightmares to find her face covered in tears.

In order to hide her broken heart, Faye threw herself into a lifestyle that couldn't be more cruel to herself. Constantly high-intensity work, poor diet, and a habit of walking in the rain and ignoring herself. Faye felt like she was punishing herself for what she thought she deserved.

Such a Faye made Yoko heartbroken to the point of being numb. Sometimes, standing right next to Faye in the rain, Yoko would scream in anger. But a soul like her could not affect anyone. She could only watch the person she loved cruelly torture herself.

And because of that lifestyle, less than a month after returning to Hong Kong, Faye started to get sick. At first, it was just a few stomach aches due to her careless eating habits, but that was weakening her immune system. Faye started to catch a cold after walking in the rain for an hour.

She was also stubborn and didn't care, didn't buy medicine and just let her body be. Yoko was so angry that she felt hot all over but could only watch Faye torture herself. It wasn't until the third day of being sick, after a long day of running events, that night when she got home, Faye had a fever of 38 degrees.

"No, if you keep doing this, you'll die. Faye, take your medicine!!"

Faye was dizzy from the fever, her face was red, her hands against the wall, Faye tried to walk back to her bed and get her things to take a shower.

"Don't take a cold shower... Haiz, Faye!!!" Yoko shouted, her hands clenched in helplessness. She stood in front of Faye but Faye still passed through her.

Does this woman want to die? She's having a fever and is taking a cold shower. She'll faint.

As if responding to Yoko immediately, Faye had just finished showering and walked out, when she suddenly felt dizzy. Faye's face was red from fever, her hair was still wet and hadn't been dried yet, she struggled to walk step by step to the bed, then fainted on the bed.

Seeing that scene, Yoko was shocked, she was so worried that she went crazy, she sat right next to Faye and tried to shake her body.

"Wake up, call your friend to come help, you really need to go to the hospital."

What to do? How can I help her?

"God, are you looking? Can you let me appear? Just once, she is really sick. God..." Yoko stood up straight and looked up at the ceiling, clasping her hands in prayer. But all she got in return was silence.

Eyes red, Yoko sat down beside Faye in disappointment and helplessness, her left hand placed on Faye's forehead to measure her temperature. How many times has this been since she returned here, seeing Faye suffer over and over again but being unable to do anything. What should she do, what did she come here for when she could only see Faye suffer like this, to Yoko it was truly no different from hell. This was not a game, this was clearly a punishment for the two of them.

"I'm sorry.." Yoko sobbed: "I'm sorry I can't help you. I'm so useless. Sorry..."

Faye had a high fever and fainted. When she tried to wake up, she felt dizzy and her head hurt. The feeling told her that she was about to faint again and lose consciousness.

It's cold...what kind of water is that?

Salty taste... Is it tears?

Faye tried to open her eyes, only to see the space around her suddenly lit up with a yellow light. Then Faye felt someone placing a hand on her forehead, the hand was so soft and warm. When Faye opened her eyes, she saw a beautiful girl sitting right next to her.

She has long hair, white skin, small pink lips, and a very pretty face, she is touching her forehead and crying, her tears are falling down Faye's face.

"Who... are you?" Faye tried to use her last bit of strength to form words.

Then Faye was struck down by a fever and fainted a second time.

Yoko still hadn't recovered from what had just happened. Her left hand suddenly glowed intensely, then it felt like her body had instantly regained its physical form, and Yoko was able to actually touch Faye.

Seeing that Faye had seen her, but then continued to faint from fever. Yoko was so happy that she wanted to jump up. She remembered, this left hand of Faye's grandmother's sister had held very tightly before she left. Could this be the last gift she had given to Faye that she had said. Yoko was so moved that she could not speak.

Looking at the girl lying on the bed with a fever, Yoko immediately stood up and prepared to go buy medicine. During her time here, Yoko was completely familiar with the routes here, she would definitely quickly buy medicine and return. Before leaving, she did not forget to adjust Faye's posture, and pinched her cheeks for torture herself.

Finally can really touch you !

Faye had said many times that she didn't like the hospital atmosphere. So the first thing Yoko did when she appeared was not to take Faye to the hospital but to buy medicine for Faye. Taking Faye's wallet, Yoko quickly went out.

This time, Yoko not only bought cold medicine but also all the necessary medicines and necessities for a medical kit. Yoko also conveniently bought some food and porridge and instant noodles to last for several days. Faye was quite sick, it would be difficult for her to recover quickly enough to perform.

Yoko knew that this time she appeared, it was clearly because of Faye's grandmother's help, so it definitely wouldn't be long, Yoko needed to take advantage of everything. When she got back to the apartment, Faye was still lying there with a high fever. Yoko immediately put a fever-reducing patch on Faye's forehead and took her temperature.

Faye's fever was almost 39 degrees, Yoko frowned, if the fever didn't go down by tonight, she would definitely have to go to the hospital. Faye was very sick so Yoko tried to help Faye up without any difficulty, she gave her fever reducer. Because of the high fever, Faye slept lethargically and occasionally mumbled nonsense words due to fatigue and nightmares.

Yoko wiped Faye's hands and feet with a wet towel to quickly lower her fever. Just now, after taking a shower, Faye refused to dry her hair. Yoko sighed, picked up the hair dryer and slowly dried Faye's hair. Faye's fever was so red that her face was red, but she was still better than before.

While Faye was sleeping, Yoko went around the house and rearranged the entire apartment. She left a series of pills in the most visible place, clearly labeled for what illness. Yoko kept food in the kitchen cabinets and refrigerator.

After preparing everything, Yoko returned to Faye's side. Her fever fluctuated from hot to cold, so Yoko had to stay up almost all night to take care of Faye. By nearly 3am, fortunately, Faye's temperature began to drop. Yoko breathed a sigh of relief, hugged Faye, and fell asleep.

As the morning approached, Yoko felt more and more clearly that she was about to disappear again. She got up, reheated the porridge she had bought, prepared warm water and medicine and placed them by the bedside.

Looking at the girl sleeping right next to her, Yoko sighed and reached out to caress her face.

"I have to go," Yoko said very softly.

Then she brushed her hair aside, leaned down and kissed Faye on the lips. Yoko kissed her softly and tenderly. Just like the way she had always secretly kissed Faye, only this time she was physical and it was a real kiss.

"Don't torture yourself anymore, okay? I'll always be by your side."

As soon as Yoko finished speaking, a golden light once again shone brightly. Yoko closed her eyes, feeling herself return to her spirit state once more.

From beginning to end, Yoko did not notice that after her kiss, the eyelids of the person who seemed to be sleeping, were trembling very gently.

When Faye woke up the next morning, she lay still on her bed, staring at the ceiling and thinking silently for a long time.

That night Faye really thought she would never see the dawn again. She was so sick and still torturing herself like this. But the next morning, she opened her eyes and found that although her body was still tired, she felt much better. She was clean and not bothered by sweat. There was a fever-reducing patch on her forehead and chest.

On the bedside table was a covered bowl of porridge, medicine, and a glass of warm water, along with a jar of lemon candy neatly placed. This was a sour candy that Faye rarely ate, but it was the kind that Faye's grandmother used to buy for her when she was little. Looking around the apartment, it was obvious that it had just been cleaned. Faye was still tired, but she still sat up and leaned against the headboard.

"Who are you?" Her voice was hoarse, but Faye spoke each word clearly.

'I'm Yoko Apasra Lertprasert.' Sitting in a corner of the room, Yoko whispered even though she knew Faye couldn't see her.

"Why are you here?"

Yoko looked up at Faye: 'I was forced to stay here.'

"Why did you take care of me? Why did you disappear?" Faye started to get angry.

'I'm not gone, I'm always here!!'

Faye stood up, grabbed a coat and put it on. Her body had just had a high fever and was still not fully recovered. Faye tottered out.

Yoko knew where Faye was going, so she didn't follow but sat still and waited.

Just as Yoko thought, not long after she heard a knock on the door of the next door neighbor's apartment. Then the next apartment, and the next.

That morning, Faye Peraya knocked on every door in that hallway. But she got only one answer.

'There are no young girls here!!'

No young girls?

So who are you? Who are you anyway???

....

For the next week, Faye tried very hard to find Yoko but was frustrated because she could not find her. She even went to churches and temples to find out, but received only frivolous advice and no one could see Yoko.

Yoko was always by Faye's side, so she saw everything. She herself was so depressed and sad that she didn't say much anymore.

A few days after recovering from her illness, Faye returned to her work routine. Fortunately, the pain seemed to be gradually fading away, and Faye no longer tortured herself so cruelly. She would eat well at mealtimes, rest when she was tired, and find shelter when it rained. Although she was still quiet and alone, Faye gradually began to treat herself better.

Sometimes Faye would sit alone on the bed, lightly touch her lips, and ask the empty question in the quiet room

"Are you here?"

Faye surprised her so much that even Yoko had to laugh. Joking around, Yoko would usually sit on Faye's lap, look at that beautiful face, kiss Faye's lips lightly, then answer gently

'I'm here. I'm with you.'

The two of them played this game so many times that it almost became a reflex in Yoko's heart. It was as if she was actually having a conversation with Faye.

And not knowing what Faye was thinking, every time she got home, Faye would often whisper and tell her about her daily work. Even though Yoko followed Faye all day and knew everything, she was still very happy to 'chat' with Faye. Even though Faye couldn't see her, the two of them still seemed to be communicating with each other in their own way.

It continued like that until one day at the end of March, Faye came home very late from an event but was still very good, had dinner and rested. While lying on the bed with Yoko right next to her, Faye's phone rang.

Looking at the caller number, Faye turned on the apartment light, sat up, thought for a moment, then picked up the phone.

"Hello Mali, are you asleep?"

On the other end of the line was Faye's old manager when she used to perform a lot in Thailand.

"No, I just got home." Faye smiled and replied. Since she came here, even though she rarely attended events in Thailand, she still called often to ask about her.

The other end of the line laughed, really caring about Faye: "Have you thought about what I told you?"

Lying right next to them, listening to their conversation, Yoko gradually became curious. She moved closer and sat on Faye's lap, her long black hair swept to one side. Today Yoko chose for herself a thin, pink, two-strap nightgown. Since becoming a spirit, Yoko had kept the habit of paying attention to her appearance, the outfit she was wearing was very cute and airy.

'What's wrong, sis?' Yoko's arms wrapped around Faye's waist, sitting comfortably on her lap, curiously asking

Faye replied over the phone: "Are you sure I am suitable? It has been a long time since I participated in such competitions."

"Definitely. This competition is very large. So you have to arrange to go home early to compete at the provincial level. Then there will be the national level. What do you think? May I register you?" The person on the phone said enthusiastically.

"I..."

Suddenly, Faye was stunned. Not because of the content of the conversation, but because of the scene unfolding before her eyes. What was unfolding before her eyes was truly difficult to describe in words. It was as if a faint pink ultrasonic wave suddenly appeared, pounding through the silent space, causing the scene before her eyes to vibrate like waves on the surface of the sea, alternating with each other.

Wave after wave, beating in time with Faye's heartbeat.

And with each wave, Yoko Apasra Lertprasert gradually appeared before Faye's eyes. Real and clear.

Her round black eyes were looking at her, her nose was high with small dimples, her cheeks were rosy and white, her mouth was pursed and smiling, her long black hair was extremely gentle and her soft feminine body was in a thin pink two-strap nightgown. Yoko was sitting on Faye's lap, and it seemed that only Faye could see the waves just now. Yoko had no idea that she had appeared.

Swallowing slightly, her hand gripping the phone tightly, her eyes glancing away, Faye tried to stay calm and pretend nothing had happened.

"I... agree. Please sign me up." Faye struggled to finish her sentence.

"I'll sign you up. Make sure to come back early." Faye's old manager said cheerfully.

"Yes, sister. Thank you."

Faye said goodbye and the other end of the line hung up.

"Oh, I know. You are going back to participate in the beauty pageant.." Yoko had no idea that Faye had seen her. She smiled happily, then turned around and sat on Faye's lap like she always did: "... go back to Thailand, I have waited for this day for a long time. Being here is not good for your health at all..." She said happily.

Not knowing since when, Yoko always had a sweet, fruity scent, very sweet and gentle. Her body was very soft, her pajamas were even thinner, Yoko sat comfortably rubbing against Faye's chest like that, making Faye blush unconsciously.

Luckily, Yoko didn't notice the change in Faye.

Faye tried to control the tsunami of questions that were surging through her mind. She continued to pretend not to see her, put away her phone, and reached out to turn off the light.

Yoko also obediently lay down next to Faye. The two lay parallel to each other, Faye pretended to close her eyes.

"You slept well today? Lying straight like this will not hurt your neck anymore..." Yoko was not sleepy yet, she leaned on her hand and turned to look at Faye, she ran her hand from her eyes to the bridge of her nose and then to her lips. This was her habit before going to sleep.

Suddenly remembering something, Yoko leaned up again and sat on Faye's stomach.

Faye's heart was pounding, not knowing what she was going to do, nor how much longer she could pretend.

"A goodnight kiss..."

Yoko Apasra brushed her hair aside, leaned over and kissed Supaporn Malisorn on the lips.

Her lips are so soft, so sweet.

Faye Peraya couldn't stand it anymore and opened her eyes to see that Yoko was closing her eyes. Faye couldn't hold it anymore and curled her lips and resolutely responded to Yoko's kiss. Her arms also quickly hugged Yoko's waist to prevent her from escaping.

This time Yoko was shocked, Faye saw her?

"Um.." Yoko tried to escape, but the other person took advantage of her carelessness to attack again and kiss Yoko deeply.

Faye at 22 is wild and never gives up.

"Mali..."

A long time later, when Yoko lost all her defenses, was kissed by Faye until her face and her cheeks were red and she couldn't breathe, then the other person let her go.

Faye looked at the beautiful girl she was holding in her arms, the one who had just secretly kissed her and then was forced to kiss her until Yoko couldn't breathe.

"Who are you?" Faye was finally able to ask the question she had wanted to ask for so long.

Who are you?

Where are you come from?

Are you a spirit or an angel?

Have you been with me all this time?

Yoko heard that and smiled brightly. A warm smile that she always reserved for Faye and only Faye. And she also said the words that she had prepared for a long time.

"Finally, I appeared before you. I am Yoko Apasra Lertprasert, your guardian spirit, Mali, Supaporn Malisorn. Have been with you all this time."

Yoko spoke very clearly. But looking at Faye's expression, Yoko immediately realized a problem.

"What's your name? I can't hear clearly?" Faye was confused. She clearly saw her speak but she couldn't hear her name.

"Mali, my name is Yo." Having experience since 2015, Yoko was sure Faye would hear this name.

"Yo? Hi Yo, I'm Mali."

For the first time in months, Faye smiled.

Finally found you, Yo.
