Planet Rhine, a place where the monster run free and live in unity. The worlds has combine into one due to them being unstable before. When they come combined, it create a beautiful place, one similar to Earth. Humans are allowed to come to this place, as long they have some protection (i.e. a buddy, an experienced fighter, etc.). A portal opened up in front of a lake, and some people came out of it. "Alright, we're here." Charles said to the group. With him was the Buddyfight club, Kurumi, Lyla, and Hallie. "Now you guys remember what we discuss before we got here right?" "Yes sir." They said unison. "Okay then, go out and train hard!" "Right!" The group went their separate ways to do their train. On a cliff near the lake, a figure wearing a gray coat was watching the group. "It's showtime." They threw a couple cards into the air and they rode the wind, following the Buddyfighters.

Hallie was with Lyla, who was extremely excited to be here. "Time to find a buddy! Time to find a buddy!" She chanted. Hallie laughed a bit. "Who knows, your buddy could appear right now." She teased. Then a card flew in front of Lyla. She stopped what she was doing and moved closer to the card. "Could this be my buddy?" She asked herself. She tried to touch the card but it changed into Purgatory Knights Leader, Demios Sword Dragon. Lyla was knocked to the ground. Demios checked his surroundings then looked towards Lyla. "You must be my target." He said with a deep, commanding voice. "Target?" Lyla was confused. "My target that must be exterminated!" He swung his blade towards Lyla. The little girl braced herself. But she felt nothing. She opened her eyes to see that she was away from Demios and Hallie was lying next to her. "Auntie!" Hallie was conscious but she couldn't move. "Don't worry sweetie, I'm fine." Lyla noticed the giant slash on her back. "But-" Before she could show concern, Demios didn't hesitate to strike. "Become my prey!" "Lyla!"

The attack was parried but an unknown knight. Demios took a couple steps back. "Who are you?" The unknown knight stood up tall with it's sword pointing towards the sun. "Eclipsing the darkness with flames and brightening the hearts of the mistreated." The knight opened up it's helmet revealing a familiar face. "The Mighty Sun Fighter is here!" A card flew out of Hallie's deck, which changed into Brave of the Sun, Gao. Gao was speechless when he saw the person in front of him. "Yota..." Yota turned to face his brother. "Hello Gao." Gao starts to tear up. "Yota it's really you!" "Yes it is. But before we have our reunion, let's take down this villain!" Yota pointed his sword towards Demios. "I will show you my true power in a Buddyfight!" He formed a deck in his hand as Yota did the same. Before he luminize, he approached Lyla. "Hey there, wanna Buddyfight with me?" Lyla was a little cautious. "I don't know...I have not Buddyfight before." "But you watch us Buddyfight all the time." Gao said. "Plus you was determined to find a buddy today." Hallie added. "And besides, I can't fight in my condition." Lyla looked at her aunt as she gave a nod and grabbed the deck from Yota. "Let's do this." "Now you're talking!"

"Souls that reside in shadows, do your duty and serve me! Luminize! Purgatorial Shade!" "If you want some fun then come and join in! Luminize! Never-ending Party!" "Buddy-" "Fight!" "Raise the flag!" "Darkness Dragon World." "Dungeon World!" "I'll go first." Demios declared. "Charge and draw. I will pay a gauge to equip Purgatory Knights Leader Sword, Demios Sword (P: 3000, C: 2). I will attack." Lyla ducked as she was slashed. "Turn end." She stood up and began her turn. "Draw, charge and draw." As she saw her hand, something hit her. "This is similar to Auntie's deck!" She turned to Yota and he nod. "First I will pay a life to equip Savage Lance, Eisen Tiger (P: 3000, C: 2) and a gauge to equip Flash Lance, Blitz Tiger (P: 4000, C:1). Then I will call Master Monk, Suzumi (D: 1000, C: 2, P: 6000) to the left and Sage, Kuguru (D:2000, C:2, P: 2000) to the right. Then I will set Mission Card: THE Teamwork. Now Suzumi and Kuguru will link attack against the fighter!" Kuguru casted a spell which boosted Suzumi's attack power as she knocks the wind out of Demios. "Since they link attack, I placed the top card face down, into my spell's soul and Kuguru's effect kicks in!" "I'm so proud." Hallie said softly. "I gain a life due to a link attack. Next I will attack with Eisen Tiger! Since I also have Blitz Tiger equipped, this gain an extra critical!" "I will cast Black Dragon Shield." "Next is Blitz Tiger!" Demios took the attack as his life stone changed into a six. "I'm done."

Demios smirked after he drew the card."First, I will set Crush that Body and Sustain Mine!  Then I will buddycall myself to the left (D: 3000, C: 2, P: 6000), Purgatory Knight, Demons Rapier Dragon to the right (D: 1000, C: 1, P: 6000) and Crossbow Dragon to the center (D: 2000, C: 1, P: 2000)! Battle! Crossbow will attack the fighter!" "Yes Lord Demios. Crossbow strike!" Lyla took the attack as an arrow struck her. "Crossbow dealt damage to you, so I can charge my gauge! Next is Rapier!" The dragon was about to attack before, "For 1 gauge, I'll cast Divine Protection of Shalsana!" "Then myself on the field will attack!" "Gahh!" She exclaimed as the blade slashed across her body. "Now Crossbow, surrender yourself to the flames!" "Bring us victory milord!" As Crossbow was consumed by the flames, the Demios on the field was in a battle stance. "Since a monster was destroyed by an effect, with the combination of my spell and weapon, I can charge and draw then myself on the field gain 3000 power! Now attack!" Lyla was struck again. "Now consume Rapier Dragon!" "Show them our power!" Demios was in a battle stance once again. "I charge my gauge and due to Rapier's effect, your spell is destroyed!" The orb above Lyla's head exploded. "Curse my body!" Hallie thought.

"I should be the one fighting!" "Stay strong Lyla." Yota said, but he knows that this is a bad situation. "Now go Demios!" The blow this time put her on her back. "Now is me with Demios Sword!" She barely managed to stand but when Demios struck, he sent her flying. "LYLA!!" Hallie, Gao, and Yota shouted. Demios started to laugh. "It was a mistake to let her fight." She was unconscious with one life left. Only a miracle can help her now.
