SYNOPSIS ⋆✴︎˚｡⋆

IF MANY TRULY KNEW WHAT THE CITTALI FAMILY OF UVELLA, the royal family of the planet was like they would most likely be described as being alike to ice.

Sharp. Unforgiving. Invasive.

But more importantly, good at disguise. Much like ice, their beauty was what fooled many, their seemingly harmless, and pacifist nature all becoming a veil to the fact that the queen herself had a connection to the dark side she wished to pass on.

This allowed the family to catch many unaware. They crept in like ice, slowly taking hold and catching those who had wronged them off guard.

They planned to do exactly this when receiving a prophecy, of a destiny fit to befall them from a soothsayer. A prophecy that said the royal family of Uvella would be destroyed by the chosen one.

And so Queen Irenea Cittali saw an opportunity to teach her only daughter, Alyra as she had not met the expectations her mother had set in her mind regarding many things. So she was sent off to befriend the so-called chosen one and learn his weaknesses so that when ready, she could strike and not fail.

However, unlike her mother, Alyra tended to sway towards the light side. It greeted her with a smile.

Even so, she obeyed, desperate for her mother's approval and to feel deserving of the title "princess".

But the love she came to feel for the chosen one, Anakin Skywalker led to her conflict about it all.

AUTHORS NOTE

Figured it was finally time to revamp the layout for Glimpse Of Us after wanting to for almost a year ish? the original one just felt too bland and had been bugging me for the longest time soooo HERE WE ARE. Pretty happy with this new layout ngl, simple but feels a bit more "put together" than the previous! Anywaysss I did obviously decide not to recast Alyra as you can see but I may or may not make another Anakin fic with Phia Saban as the faceclaim 🫣 we'll see though. Too debating on connecting my in progress fic called "Twin Suns" (fic about Skywalker OC/Anakin's twin) to this but I could also have it be set in the same "universe" as Arcane.
