"(f/n)-chaaan." Kuroo drawled, flashing you his puppy eyes. You ignored him and looked out the window, crossing your arms below your chest.
He furrowed his brows and whined. "C'mon, (f/n)-chan, you can't stay mad at me forever!"
You rolled your eyes, still looking outside the window. Kuroo was in front of you, sitting on his chair backwards so that he was facing you. His elbows were laid low on the top of the headrest as his chin rested on top of it. His eyes were fixed on you completely.
"(f/n)-chan, c'moooon." He begged; you ignored him. He scooted his chair closer to your desk and since he had long ass legs, he found a way to kick yours. You turned to him, a scowl plastered on your face as you let out a low growl.
"You're such a sissy bitch, Kuroo. I don't even know why I'm friends with you."
His lips curled. "Maybe because you secretly think I'm attractive?"
You snorted. "You look like my ass."
"So you're saying I look great?" He simpered.
"Shut up." You raised a threatening finger. "Now go away. I'm still not talking to you."
He quirked a brow. "You're talking to me right now."
You shot him a warning look, then looked out the window with an angry expression on your face.
"You can't be like this forever!" He whined in a low voice. You turned your head to the other side, where Kenma was sitting and playing his games like the usual.
"Hey, Kozume. Exchange seats with me?" You smiled at him, your irritated demeanor fading away in a second.
Kenma paused his game and looked at you with a questioning look. "Kenma, don't listen to her." Kuroo demanded, a hint of pleading mixed in his tone. Kenma then averted his gaze to him, confusion now written all over his face. You snarled at the captain.
"Exchange seats with me, Kenma. I'll buy you whatever game you want." You bribed. Kenma stood up from his seat before Kuroo stopped him.
"I'll buy you two games!" He said and Kenma immediately sat back down on his chair.
You clicked your tongue, "I'll buy you five."
Kenma stood up.
"I'll buy you seven." Kuroo added.
Kenma sat down.
"I'll buy you twelve." You said, glaring at Kuroo. Kenma turned to Kuroo to see what he had to offer, but he stayed silent. Kenma stood up and walked over to you and your eyes brightened. You turned to Kuroo and stuck your tongue out, a look of triumph evident in your feautures. You stood up as well, exchanging seats with Kenma. The captain heaved a sigh as you once again ignored him.
Kenma sat down on the chair, shuffling a bit before finally adjusting. His finger hovered over the button before he paused, lifting his head up.
"What's wrong with you and (f/n)?" He asked quietly, glancing at your direction to see if you were listening. Kuroo heaved a sigh as he ran his finger down his hair, an exhausted expression on his face.
"[insert random thing that he did to you that made you angry as fuck]." He said and the setter's eyes widened slightly. Even if he didn't say anything, Kuroo got the message just by looking at his expression. It's pretty easy to read the setter despite his shy nature.
"Yeah, I know, it's absurd. I didn't know it would make her this angry. She even called me an ugly ass cunt and hit me with an umbrella." He sighed once again. Kenma's lips curled slightly in amusement for a second before it went back to a straight line.
"I've known her for years, she usually forgives easily." Kenma said in a monotone.
He let out a small groan. "I tried everything, but she's still mad." He eyed you as you talked to a classmate of yours.
"Do you think I should seduce her? Flirt?" He looked back at Kenma.
Kenma stayed quiet for awhile before answering silently, "I'm not good with girls. Don't ask me."
Kuroo chuckled. "I forgot." He darted his eyes to look at you with the usual smirk plastered on his face. You caught his gaze and you immediately gave him a glare, a bitchy look visible in your feautures.
"What are you looking at?" You spat. Kenma flinched at your tone and quickly started playing his game.
Kuroo grinned. "You."
You rolled your eyes. "Well, stop it. You look like shit, and I don't want a piece of shit looking at me." You said coolly, turning away from him and talking with your friend once again.
The bell rang through the room loudly as everyone scrambled around the room to their respective seats. Kenma stopped playing his game and turned it off, placing it inside his bag carefully as if it was a fragile little baby. Typical Kenma. You waved at your friend and told her you'll talk to her later. Kuroo heaved a sigh and stopped looking at you, turning around to face the teacher that just arrived with a bunch of papers pressed against his chest by his arms.
Great, another boring lesson.
The teacher didn't even greet them a happy morning, instead, just jumping off to the lesson directly. Kuroo tapped his fingers against his desk, his eyes darting across the room lazily. Then he eyed the notebook on his desk, a black pen accompanying it. He flipped his notebook open to an empty page and grabbed his pen, starting to write.
Meanwhile, you were on your seat, scribbling and doodling on your notebook, not even bothering to listen to the teacher. Because obviously, this was boring as fuck. Yes, you wanted to learn but whenever you try to listen, you end up almost falling asleep. So you might as well doodle stuff on your notebook since you had nothing else to do.
You glanced at Kuroo to see him breathing and you rolled your eyes. What a bitch.
You sighed and averted your gaze to your notebook until a piece of crumpled paper reached your table. A wave of confusion washed over you as you looked around to find the culprit. Then your eyes landed on Kuroo.
He flashed you a wink before turning away. You narrowed your eyes at him. You quickly opened the paper to see a message written in the most ugly handwriting ever seen in life history. You weren't kidding, it was ugly as fuck.
Hey ;)
You snarled at the paper before you ripped a piece from your notebook, angrily writing on it. You stole a glance at your teacher only to see he was still writing on the board. The coast is clear. You crumpled it and threw it at Kuroo's desk. Upon seeing the paper, he opened it to see what was written on it.
What?
He ripped another paper and wrote on it. You stared at him with narrowed eyes, thinking what he was up to then he threw the crumpled paper to your desk. You quickly opened the paper and read it inside your head.
I already said sorry a couple of times. Why are you still angry? We're the best of friends, you know :) What do you say?
You boiled with anger. His handwriting was so ugly, it made you mad. You repeated the same process, throwing the paper at his desk and waiting for his response.
Kuroo saw the crumpled paper and smirked. He was quite confident of what he wrote and he was excited to know your answer. He opened the paper with a grin on his face but it immediately faltered when he read it.
Cocksucker.
He lifted his head and pouted. You smugly laughed at his expression.
"(l/n) and Kuroo! What are the both of you doing in the middle of class?" You heard a voice yell out in anger. You nearly jumped out of your seat when the teacher fumed in anger in front of the whole class, his fists clenching.
"Detention, after class!"
-
"Look what you did." You groaned, burying your face into your hands. "Now we got detention, idiot."
"Hey, it's not my fault!" Kuroo defended.
You rolled your eyes. "It totally was."
The both of you were inside the same classroom the 'little' incident happened, alone. An hour had passed and you were still stuck with the mischievous male. You have tried sitting at the other side of the room to avoid him, but he was still so stubborn to even get the message and continued to pester you and follow you around.
"Hey! This wouldn't have happened if you had just forgiven me!" Kuroo whined.
"Yeah, yeah." You said. "Don't even try to put the blame on me."
"Of course, hun." Kuroo said in a low voice and you swore your eyebrows jumped at the sound. You noticed the male was inching closer to you, an amused expression on his face. You looked around, uncomfortable, hoping that he would stop but unfortunately — he didn't.
So your instincts kicked in.
You brought your hands in front of you and pushed him with so much force that he fell to the ground with a loud thud. That wasn't the end of it, though. Following the event, a couple of chairs fell to the ground as well, one even falling on top of him. He winced in agony.
"Oh my fucking gosh, are you okay?" You asked, even though you actually knew the answer, but you really didn't know what else to say. "Shit, I'm sorry. I didn't mean it, I swear."
You carried the chair off him and hurriedly sat on your knees, inspecting for any wounds. "Where does it hurt?"
"Right here." Kuroo touched his cheek. You frowned in response, scooting closer to the place he was pointing.
"Come closer." Kuroo croaked. You didn't know why he was asking you such a request, but you complied anyway since you were the one at fault. You furrowed your brows in concern, unsurely moving closer to the male.
"What are you trying to do—!" Kuroo grabbed your collar roughly, pulling you closer to him. Before you could even react, he gave you a slight peck on the lips.
Pulling, giving you a sloppy grin. You stood frozen in your spot. You didn't even speak; you just stared at him with wide eyes and mouth slightly agape. You gulped, about to say something when—
"Detention for the next few weeks, both of you!"
Yikes.
