no ones pov

Y/n woke up early the next morning. She looked around to see that she was the only one up and sighed as she stood. She walked out of the room carefully trying not to wake anyone up. She closed the door silently behind her. She walked down the stairs expecting Marco to be passed out of the couch but he was sitting up looking at a tv that was not on.

"Marco you know that the tv inst on right," She asked. He turned to her and shook his head

"no I thought I was watching the greatest show ever that has no sound or visuals," He said sarcastically rolling his eyes with a smile on his face. Y/n rolled her eyes and laughed lightly

"whatever princess" She saw his smile drop for a second and she sat next to him, "you ok Marco," She asked concerned. 

"Yeah, I'm fine" Y/n turned to him and crossed her arms, "don't lie to me Diaz" He sighed and looked at the stairs making sure there was no one coming down them. 

"It's about Star...I can't be the only one who noticed how her smile dropped when she spun that bottle and it landed on me" he said rubbing his arm. Y/n was silent for a moment. Of course, she had noticed but what was she supposed to say. She rubbed the back of her neck. He looked at her waiting for some type of response but she had none. 

"do you...you know like her" Y/n asks Marco thinks for a moment and then nods. 

"yeah, I think I do" He looked down at the ground. Y/n sighed as she got up.

"why don't you tell her" Marco's head shot up as she frantically shook his head

"no no no no not happening," Marco said looking away his face turning red then he froze as a voice rang out

"hey you guys are up pretty early," Star said walking down the stairs then she looked at Marco and I could tell by her face she had heard everything. "Marco I...I'm sorry" Marco nodded some as he looked down at the floor again.

"its ok Star" Stars eyes soften and she walks out of the room back upstairs forgetting what she had really gone down there for. Y/n looked at Marco but he was still looking down.

"Marco I..." she couldn't seem to find the right words. Marco looked up at her tears in his eyes. "oh no Marco" she put a hand on his shoulder. He shakes her off gently

"I just need some time alone please," he said looking away from her. Y/n sighed and walked back upstairs taking one last glance at Marco before heading to Stars room
