learning how to differentiate facts and feelings
Thought out the course of life we experience many things that will shock us, engulfed in our emotions we do not even bother to check the facts. life has tought me through relational dsyfuctions, at the root of the problem there are some underlining elements, that shaped peoples perception of the situation and me. facts are fabricated,the important parts are left out Causing a misunderstanding. I always believed there are two sides to a story. Truth is a light that exposes many things, character, insecurities, jealousy, envy, hatred. Truth is often covered up. Learning how to discern the facts, will help us to properly process our feelings, truth will help us to validate feelings that are warranted. We are able to work through feelings that are genuine we have to determine if we have the right to be angry or upset. Feelings are often set off by emotional trigger, our values or beliefs are directly or indirectly challenged will cause us to react, and offenses will also cause us to confront or harbor the offense, it is important to have a clear understanding of what happened that made you feel that way. Working through anger, frustration, can improve your ability to handle conflict, and confrontation if a similar situation arises.
