The "Talk"

Laurance grasped my hand tightly as we walked towards my house. I looked around every time I heard even the slightest of noises. I was being paranoid big time. I found myself biting my lip until the skin turned white and breathing heavily through my nose.

Eventually we made it to my house and he walked me up to the porch. We stood in silence for a moment and he laughed. "I feel like this is where I'm supposed to say goodnight and be on my way."

I nodded, slowly. He moved closer with his arms open for a hug. I moved into his arms and wrapped my arms around his torso, resting my head on his shoulder. "Ahem!"

We both quickly turned and saw dad standing in the doorway, tapping his foot angrily. I sighed, shaking my head as I pulled away. "Dad it's not like we're kissing!"

"Both of you inside-"

"I'm sorry Mr. Ro'Meave, but I really should be heading home-"

"No need. It will be a short talk." He smiled, leading us to the empty living room. I sucked in an angry breath and stared at my dad as he sat down. "Please sit-"

"Irene! You planned this! That's why Zane's not down here on his game!" I growled.

"Sit." He growled back. I sighed and sat down and Laurance sat down quietly next to me. I curled my lips into a snarl as my dad started to talk. "So... Laurance. Are your intentions with my daughter honorable?"

"Tch, this is new." I laughed. Laurance's face turned red.

"I'm sorry sir. I don't think I quite understand what you mean..."

"You're not going to have sex with my daughter-"

"No!" He exclaimed quickly. I felt my cheeks heat up as I glared at my dad.

"It's fine dad-"

"Just a few more question." He smiled. "How are your grades?"

"Straight A student," Laurance laughed nervously.

"Any extracurricular activities?"

"I play soccer sir."

"He's the captain of the team. He's very mature and has nice friends." I added. "He's friends with Garroth so..."

"His standards must be pretty low if he's friends with Garroth." I snorted then stopped.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked, glaring daggers at him.

"I'm saying that you're way out of his league."

"Okay we're done here have a nice night Laurance." I smiled pushing him out the door, slamming it shut. "DAD!" I growled.

"What? You made him leave before I could start polishing my rifle." He sighed pulling it out from under the couch. My eyes widened before I threw my hands up.

"I'm so done, enjoy making out with your rifle." I sighed walking upstairs to my room and tossing myself on the bottom bunk as Zane pulled away from our computer.

"Well that must have been a fun talk with stupid Laurance." He laughed. I rolled my eyes and stood up, walking over to him then snapping his mask on his face like a rubber band. "Ow!"

"You're such a jerk sometimes. You know that right?"

"I enjoy being myself thank you very much." He snarled.

"So anyways, how'd you know about the talk?" I asked moving to lay on my back.

"I set up a video camera before you got home." He laughed. I sighed angrily and threw my pillow at him. "Ow!"

"You're a weird little-"

"Hey guys!" Garroth smiled as he walked in.

"Garroth you need to stop walking in on people. It's going to become a serious problem in the future." Vylad sighed as he stood in the doorway.

"You're just speaking nonsense." Garroth sighed waving it off. Vylad and I both shook our head in disappointment.

"Okay. What do you two want?" I asked, pulling out my laptop and going to my email.

"Just wanted to see if we could hang out maybe?" Garroth asked. I thought and nodded.

"Movie night?" Zane jumped from his seat quickly.

"Did I hear someone say movie night?" He asked excitedly. I laughed, nodding. Garroth and Vylad nodded in agreement and I clasped my hands together.

"Let's head downstairs!" I smiled and we all ran downstairs with our pillows and blankets. I set up the sleeping area while the boys fought in the kitchen about snacks. I watched as Zane dumped a pound of liquid butter on the popcorn and then added like a pound of salt. I gagged as I continued to set up. "Zane made his signature bowl of heart attack." I snickered.

"It's better than it looks!" He growled. Soon they were coming back with bowls of candy, chips, and popcorn. I smiled, rubbing my hands together and took the nachos from Vylad and settled down on the couch while the boys say in front of me.

We put on (S/F/M) and I laughed at the most interesting moments. Almost every time I laughed Zane forced me to eat a piece of his heart attack popcorn. I also stole a bunch of kitkats from Garroth, but I don't thing he noticed. After the movie I found myself falling asleep and laid down, curling up on the couch and watched sleepily as Zane put in The Death Trio... of course he'd pick one based of his game.

I slowly closed my eyes as the movie played on and listened to Zane laughed maniacally every time one of the good guys got stabbed. "It's almost like they're playing a game of hide and go stab!" Vylad exclaimed as I fell asleep.

Zane's P.O.V.

I turned to check on (Y/N) because she hadn't said anything in a while. I saw she was sleeping so I stood up and pulled a blanket across her and she curled up into a ball, and I heard her mumble something. I moved closer to hear what she was saying. She fidgeted a bit and then stopped moving. I saw her chest still rising to show she was breathing so that was good... but something else was off.

"They're all going to die." She whispered. That's what was off.
