"Nine. I don't think this is what I had in mind." The others had helped scream proof the room, which wasn't going to hold either way, our drill included me trying to avoid Nine, John, Five, and Sam(who would be shooting at me), while trying to "rescue" Marina, who I found is number seven.

"Well, I'm not going to go easy on you with that screaming legacy of yours."

"John, in BK outside?" I asked, he nodded and I shoved my hands in my pockets. "Okay, at least he won't have his ears bleeding. Can't say the same for the rest of you. Let's start this already."

John began to lob fire balls at me while Sam shot at me, which I avoided easily. For some reason they seemed to be going easy on me. "Hey, just because I was poisoned doesn't mean I need special treatment, give it all you've got!"

They shrugged and then picked up the speed, but once again I dodged everything. Nine jumped over them and charged at me, his first move was to punch me. I leaned back far enough to dodge and kicked him square in the jaw. He grabbed my ankle and flipped me in the air, landing me on my stomach. I reached behind me and grabbed him by the head and flipped him over me, he landed on his back and I pressed a foot on his chest as I stood up. I knew it wouldn't hold him, that is until I ripped the gun from Sam with my telekinesis and aimed it at Nine.

"Give me my friend or he dies." I yelled. John lit his hand on fire, and I chuckled lowly before screaming. The ground around us shook and threw John and Sam off balance. I sprinted over to Marina and helped her up from her sitting position. John and Sam were still on the ground, but Nine was up. "Stay behind me."

"Planned on it." Marina muttered. I raised my hand to Nine and he jumped to the ceiling and began to run towards us. I immediately planted thoughts of Lorien in his head, made memories resurface, and it made him fall from the ceiling. John recovered fast enough to catch Nine.

"Does this mean I win?" I asked out loud. Suddenly I was struck from behind and thrown into the wall. I rotated once I got to my feet and turned to see Five flying at me with his fist out, and as metal. He aimed a punch at my head, which I dodged, and slid between his legs and turned around and directed a scream at him, which shattered the metal skin and he was back to normal, but with bleeding ears.

He dropped to his knees and I brushed my hair from my face. "So I won now."

"I'd say you won pretty fair." Sam groaned, rubbing his ears. Nine was still staring off into space.

"What did you do to him?" Marina asked.

"I just... pulled a few roots from the tree." I bit my lip and walked over to him and knelt down. I placed my hand on the side of his head and made him forget everything he just saw. He blinked and flipped me over his head and placed his hand loosely around my throat.

"I'm not done fighting yet." He smirked. My hands trailed to his waist and under his shirt, trailing across the skin on his back. He froze and released my neck with both hands on either side of my head. I kneed him in the... area and he groaned, falling over. I moved and hovered over him.

"Distracting isn't it? Just a simple touch?" I kissed his cheek and stood up and walked away, leaving Marina to heal him. I was sweaty and disgusting so I headed back into the room I woke up in. There was a bathroom through one of the connecting doors so I took a quick shower, and when I came out Nine was waiting.

"C'mon. We need to vote for who's going to the Everglades." He nodded to the door.

"What?"

"We're going to see if we can find Five's chest." He shrugged.

After the voting Nine and I returned to the room and sat on the bed. "So we're going together?"

"Like I said. I'm never leaving you again." I whispered, falling onto my back. Nine leaned over next to me and sighed.

"This could be dangerous."

"I like dangerous. It gives my life more meaning." He smirked and closed his eyes. "Are you tired?"

"No. Are you?"

"Hella."

"Then sleep." He mumbled, eyes still closed. I closed my eyes and felt his arm wrap around me. I could feel his warm breath on my neck as my mind drifted from one thing to another, but I focused on one thing as I fell asleep. Nine.

"Ten! Ten, wake up!" My entire body shot straight up at the sound of Nine's voice. We weren't laying in the bedroom anymore. We were laying in a muddy swamp and there was a heavy, warm breeze that took the breath from me.

"Nine, where are we? What are we doing here?" I gasped.

"I don't know, this is your illusion!" He snapped, standing up. My heart was pounding fiercely. This place was so strange, and this didn't even feel like an illusion, it felt so real. "Change it back, Ten."

"I-I don't know how." The words escaped me. It was impossible to even think right now.

"You have to remember how. You've done this before." He tried to reason with me, taking steps closer. My mind was scattered. It made me feel sick.

"I can't remember."

"Then focus on something that can make you remember!" He tried. My eyes fixed on him and slowly the swamp around us melted back into the bedroom. "Why did that happen?"

"It happens when I dream sometimes." I mumbled, holding my hands back together. "I guess I was dreaming about that place."

"Do you even know where that place is?" He asked, sitting down next to me. I shook my head with bated breath.

"No, I've never seen it before, but I think it might have to do with, Five."

"Strange feeling you're getting there."

"I know, I know, but... he gives me a weird vibe."

"Fair enough. Let's go check on the others."
