⛈S I X⛈

I elbowed the commander in the gut, and ripped the blaster off his side, and shot him in the head and then the other two Mogs. They all burst into ash, and clouded up the room. I dropped the blaster, and ran towards the glass. The other Mogs had cleared out and left Bion.

Angrily, I slammed my fist into the glass, but my hand bounced of like a rubber ball. "Bion!" The yell escaped me before the scream. My knees gave out again as my mind started to accept the reality. The door burst open behind me, and I didn't even turn around before I sucked in a big breath.

"Cover your ears!" I heard Nine's voice, but I ignored it. The scream escaped me, this time it was so violent that the walls actually cracked, and glass in front of me shattered, cement fell from the ceiling, landing all around me. When I stopped I was panting heavily, my cheeks were covered in dried tears, and my hands were covered in glass. My head was spinning, but I had one clear objective, get to Bion.

Slowly, I pushed myself up to my feet, and I trudged over to him, glass crunching under my ragged shoes. My hands shook violently as I placed them on Bion's bloody coat. He was lifeless, and out of nature I hugged him, tears began to stream down my cheeks as the feeling of life finished draining from him. I felt a tap on my shoulder, and a small whisper. "We need to leave, Ten."

"I can't." I whispered, the same words that got him killed.

"Please, Ten, we don't have much time." I refused to listen to anyone or anything other than my brain, which was telling me to stay.

"Just leave me here!" I snapped. Nine sighed and wrapped his arms around my waist, and yanked me off of Bion, my hand managed to grab hold of the shitty collar I had made him when I was eight.

"Ten, let go."

"No!"

"Ten, we have to leave while we still have a chance!" The collar broke in my hand and Nine dragged me away, and threw me over his shoulder. Angrily, I pounded my fists against his back, using my legacy to make it hurt more than it should have, and also ignoring the fact that another boy had joined the party.

"Leave me here! I need to go back! Put me down you fucking bastard!" I yelled furiously.

"Ten, shut the hell up. We're going to get caught." I began to kick him too, using my legacy on this too. Several grunts escaped, Nine.

"I need to go back, Nine! I need to go back! Please!" The tears hadn't stopped, and I could feel the rage choking me again as I tried to break his grip on me.

"Four, gag her or something?" Nine muttered as he broke into a run, the other following close behind.

"Isn't she your friend?" A new voice asked.

"It's complicated." He signed.

"Damn right it is! After we get out of here I'm going to kill you, Nine! I'm going to cut your throat out with my hands, and the rip you apart limb from- mph!" Someone shoved a piece of cloth around my mouth, and me being to angry to even take it out, began to hit Nine harder. I completely ignored our surroundings, and kept pounding on his back furiously.

I was suddenly hit with a horrible stench, and gasped in surprise, and the cloth fell out of my mouth. I clutched the collar tightly in my fist and closed my eyes. We continued moving for a while before, Nine threw me on the ground. I built up enough courage to look at him, he looked the same, dark hair and eyes, tall, but he was holding a six foot long metal pole, and he looked pissed.

He completely avoided my gaze, and sat down next to the other boy, who also had tears on his face along with several injuries. Out of the bush from behind him a beagle jumped out, and began to lick his fingers. "I don't deserve that. I'm a coward. I'm cursed." He whispered. The beagle sniffed Nine's face and, turned into a horse. The sight made my heart ache.

"Whoa! What the hell are you!?" Nine yelled, jumping back.

"It's a Chimæra, Nine." I spoke, seeing the other boy was still collecting himself. Nine, just shot me a look, and pet the Chimæra, and placed a rock on the boys back. The Chimæra approached me, and I stood shakily and began to pet him. "Hello, there."

He neighed in response, causing a small smile to appear on my face. "You know, I had a friend, he was just like you... I could have saved him. He was just on the other side of a wall. But, I'm guessing you're name's not Bion."

He shook his head, and I clutched the collar tighter. "That's okay. It's my fault."

"His name is Bernie Kosar." The boy spoke. I noticed his wounds were healed, and I nodded. His eyes drifted towards the sky. I followed and saw a storm forming. My stomach dropped, I could sense the anti-legacy feeling just above us.

"It's him." My voice was just loud enough to hear, and Nine's head whipped towards me, his eyes wild.

"Who?" I couldn't respond, my body had froze as the perfectly spherical space ship descended from the sky, and landed at the entrance of the mountain. The side melted away to a exit for the Mogadorian leader. "Setrakús Ra," Nine gasped, "he's here. This is it."

"So that's his name," the boy whispered.

"That was his name. For every day they tried to torture me and me Cêpan, I'm going to stab him with this." Nine growled, clutching his pole. The ends expanded with rotating blades. "I'm going to kill him. And you're both going to help."

"Nine, that's insane. You can't kill him!" I snapped. Before they could even listen to my reason, all of them charged out of the trees, but Setrakús Ra had already made it into the cave, and the blue force field was up. Nine skidded to a stop and stabbed the ground with his pole.

"No!" But the other boy kept running towards the field.

"STOP!" Nine and I yelled as he smacked into the force field, I used my legacy to lessen the blow, but he still fell back and passed out. I ran forward, maybe I could break the field. My mouth opened, and I screamed, clutching the collar, as a reminder to why my rage should be let loose. When I was finished screaming all I could see was a blurry few feet in front of me and I fell. My arms were shaking as I tried to push myself up, I could hear footstep. "Don't fight it, Ten. Rest."

The voice was mixed up in my hearing, but the idea sounded like the best I'd ever heard, and I collapsed on the ground, drained and tired. I closed my eyes and everything was black.
