From an old veteran K, who wished to have his name concealed : I swear those kids had it way easier in the Current Era, back in my day...

All of it happened because the civilization evolved a little bit too fast, so in response some scientists took on another whole way of resisting against Honkai, which is to just join them, in a way.

They fused Emperor-class monsters' genes with soldiers (or volunteers) to create a literal slayer that can sometimes take on a horde by themselves, or even those that have immense psychic power that can affect the mind of the population, or even just make them become even angrier than before.

Our story begins with John Y/n, who has been fused with an Emperor-class named "The Moving Castle" for its incredible toughness and resilience compared to the others in the same category.

That is until they realize it wasn't actually toughness or resilience that made the beast so tough in the first place, but it was something better : Netflix Adaptation.

With Adaptation speed of an Emperor-Class, John Y/n was put up the frontline to fight with the reality-bending Herrschers, having the honor to fight alongside some of the best MANTIS ever existed such as Kevin Kaslana, Ben Dover, Kalpas, Sakura,...

A female voice appeared behind you. As you turn around, you are met with an immense pressure applied onto your body and your soul, as if you are standing against a Herrscher, or something greater, far more powerful...

You saw a girl with long, pale blonde hair, dark eyes with purple pupils, her clothes were of an unfamiliar design choice that he had seen before, it was unique, it was beautiful.

You were met with her piercing gaze, as if she was a God inspecting a mere ant, showing no interest nor any emotion. Every single cell in your body that has been fused with an Emperor-class' genes begged and screamed at you to run away. But you could not...

"What is your purpose here, Outlander? You are in my presence in my own domain, speak." - She spoke coldly, every word coming out of her mouth brings absolute authority over the situation, your life could be easily erased with these words alone...

You know that the woman before you is not an ordinary human at all, she is something like a God... But yet, you refused to submit yourself before such pressure.

"My name is Y/n, one of the MANTIS, specialized in fighting Honkai. I do not remember what happened when I got launched upwards... And I want to know where I am?"
