This creature in the corner is your companion, Lex. He comes from the species of cloud foxes, but he's different. He can turn into shadows and also transform into a bigger wolf type. Making him more of a shadow fox.

(P.S most of the names are in Latin, not sure if the translations are 100%. Aaanyway!)

"Don't go easy on me! Idiot!" Law yelled before he was thrown to the ground. He got up and scowled at the (H/C) girl who only smirked.

"What? You told me not to." she giggled.

"Don't think I'm going to go easy on you just because you're a girl!"

"Try beating me at least once before saying that, i-di-ot~" she smirked.

"They are so cute~" Law's mother giggled to (Y/N)'s mother as they watched the children 'play' in the garden.

They'd been neighbors ever since Law and (Y/N) were born and their parents would visit each other almost every day. (Y/N) only had her mother so it was nice of her to hang out with Law's family and she was best friends with his sister.

But her and Law were different. Their parents couldn't explain it but they had a deeper bond somehow.

Even though they mostly fought and argued with each other.

Law's father joined his wife's side and (Y/N)'s mother chuckled.

"My daughter is going to marry a future doctor~. I never thought it would be so quick for me to find one." she mused.

Law's father laughed out loud. "The feeling is mutual my dear friend. (Y/N) will be a good wife for our son."

This caught the children's attention and they glared their parents' way.

"I will never marry this idiot!" they shouted in unison while pointing at the other before turning their glare to each other.

The parents laughed and waved their hands dismissively. They were joking, but they still secretly wished for the two of them to marry once they were adults.

"Excuse you! I am a catch!" (Y/N) yelled and Law rolled his eyes.

"Who would marry such a brute? Sometimes I even wonder if you're a girl!" he shouted.

"Well who would marry a weakling like you!?" she shouted back.

"Who would marry an ugly dumb-ass like you!?" he yelled in her face.

"Law! Language!" Law's mother scolded.

"I hate you idiot-Law!" the girl yelled before running off.

A while later Law found (Y/N) sitting on her porch pouting with her arms crossed before he approached her.

He threw an apple in her lap and looked away. "Sorry." he mumbled.

She looked up at him and grinned before running inside to his confusion.

Coming back outside, she held out the other half of the apple to him and he smiled as he took it.

"Do you forgive me now?" he asked and she nodded.

"Of course I have, you idiot." she giggled before pecking his cheek and running off.

"O-Oi!" he yelled with a red face before chasing after her.

"Stop thinking like that! You're going to get better!" (Y/N) cried as she lied down next to Law, clinging to him with both her arms and legs.

The doctors were concerned but Law's parents just sighed and told them they would not be able to separate the two children, so might as well let them be.

The children laid there talking about all the things they would do once everyone was cured until Law's face darkened.

"What if I don't get better?" he muttered while sitting up.

"You will!" (Y/N) yelled as she sat up with him. "You have a lot of things left to do. I mean you still haven't beaten me yet. You are not allowed to go anywhere until then - not even after that! You're staying! Right here!" she yelled hoarsely while scowling at him but the tears forming in her eyes gave her away.

He smiled. "Of course, sorry." he said as he wiped her tears.

"You better be." she muttered with a pout.

He looked at her curiously before he pecked her lips quickly.

"W-What the hell was that?!" she yelled with her eyes widened and her face red.

"At least now I got my first kiss" he grinned mischievously.

"I hate you." she pouted while looking away.

"I hate you too." he snickered before lying back down.

"(Y/N)!"

(Y/N) spotted Law and grabbed his hand while they began to run away from the flames. Once they made it towards the edge of a small cliff over the water, they had been spotted and suddenly Law felt a hand at his back before he fell.

"Oi!" The companion on (Y/N)'s shoulder nudged her cheek and she flinched as she was brought out of her reminiscing.

"Hm? What is it, Lex?" She stopped and looked at the wanted poster with the blurry image of an adult woman.

'WANTED - Alive.
Caeli.
Captain of the Iris pirates.'

(I will still refer to you as "(Y/N)" but Caeli or Captain when someone refers to you.)

(Y/N) chuckled. 'Dumb-ass marines'.
She found it hilarious that they struggled to find her.

Since she's always been physically strong, she only carried two weapons on her.

Two daggers - one regular and one made out of sea prism stone.
But considering that she's at some points of her life trained with Mihawk and Rayleigh - two daggers were all she needed.

She also had a reliable crew that could hold their own in a fight and were extremely loyal to her.

So she had no reason to fear.

The Iris pirates had docked at this place called Spring island. A botanical island that held almost all types of plants and herbs. However, they never fully bloomed at the island, only outside.

Her crew was currently collecting plants, herbs, and other provisions since it was going to be a long trip. Their next destination was Dressrosa and for safety reasons, they were not going to stop anywhere else.

Suddenly Lex squeaked and she looked up to see marines in the far distance. She spoke on her earpiece to alert the crew to go back to the ship immediately and prepare to set sail as soon as everyone was on board.

"What the hell are we going to do now Luffy!?" a girl yelled while hitting a smaller guy.

She raised her brow. 'Why are the straw-hats here?' she thought to herself, but shook her head and began to make her way to her ship.

Luckily she forbade the crew from wearing their uniforms outside the ship, making them harder to spot. She would never understand the stupidity of some pirates who wore their emblem in public when they were wanted.

On her way, she passed another wanted poster and brushed her fingers against it before resuming her walk.

Once she was near the docks she heard a loud obnoxious voice. "Ooooiii! Miss!" before someone crashed into her, making Lex turn into his wolf form and growl at the aggressor.

"H-Hey now it was an honest mistake." the boy laughed nervously and when (Y/N) got up she noticed that it was the captain of the Straw-hats and sighed.

"State your business or I won't take responsibility when my companion rips you to shreds." she said while crossing her arms.

"Here's the thing." Luffy chuckled while rubbing the back of his head. "Because of a misunderstanding, some of our crew-members took our ship to Dressrosa and we are kind of stuck here and since you might have a ship we thought-"

"No. I know of you and you are famous for being reckless. I don't need that sort of people on my ship." she said before she turned to leave.

"Oh come oooon! Please!" he grinned while hugging her.

She glared down at him as he looked up and flinched when he saw underneath the brim of her hat that usually covered her eyes.

Her (E/C) irises had white specks around them while thin scars, most likely from burns, streaked across the lids and went down her right side down her neck.

"Sorry. But we could really use your help. We really need to get to Dressrosa. We will keep to ourselves and we will be in your debt." Luffy said calmly, surprising the people with him.

She raised her brow and thought for a moment before looking towards Chopper and her heart throbbed a little at the adorable creature.

When she looked behind him her heart stopped for a second before she cleared her throat and straightened herself out.

"Fine. But you are only allowed on deck, the bathrooms, the kitchen and the sleep quarters. If you as much as breathe near any other area I won't hesitate to throw all of you overboard." she said before walking off and snapping her fingers for them to follow.

"Oh, by the way, this is Nami-" Luffy gestured "and-"

"Save the introductions. I know everything about all of you." she said while walking briskly.

They followed her to the docks and looked around confused as she stopped by the edge when they couldn't see a ship close by.

She jumped down and they panicked before looking bewildered when no splash was heard.

They hurried over and looked down.

"Are you coming or not?" she shouted and they all jumped down.

"Woaaah! It's huge!" Luffy exclaimed.

"Captain!"

A group of really tall amazon looking women hurried over and glared at the strangers. She held her hand up while giving them a look before they just nodded and went on with their business.

Luffy and the others eyed the Captain in front of them.

Her presence was really intense and everything about her screamed supremacy, yet she carried herself with dignity and a certain gracefulness. She wore a cold expression but it seemed to soften around her fox companion.

The ship suddenly took off with great speed and the newcomers had trouble keeping their balance while (Y/N) stood perfectly still with her hands behind her back and Lex on her shoulder.

"If you wish you can go inside or just hold onto the ropes over there." she said while nodding her head towards some ropes that were attached to the walls behind her.

They decided to walk inside and felt the eyes of the amazon lookalikes on them the whole time before they decided to go to the kitchen.

Not soon after, (Y/N) joined them.

"The gentlemen will be sleeping in our sick room and you-" she said looking at Nami and Robin "-will sleep with the rest of the crew. The door marked with our symbol leads to my room and I will feed you to the sea kings, after disemboweling you, if you enter it."

"Hey miss you don't have any meat do ya?" Luffy asked while grinning and (Y/N) rolled her eyes before she turned on her earpiece.

"Sagina, our guests appear to be hungry. Yes. Once you're done, show them the bathrooms, sick room and bedrooms. Nothing else. C out." she turned it off before leaving.

They looked at each other confused before a large woman with crazy curly hair walked in with a cheery smile and started cooking up food for everyone.

When she had turned her back to them, they gasped at the flag symbol on her back.

These people were the Iris pirates.

So that woman from before was the legendary Captain Caeli.

They're known to be the most secretive pirates there's ever been.

No one has ever seen them before and their captain was known to be the most intelligent and strategic woman in the world. Any information about the Iris pirates that people were aware of - was only because Caeli had allowed it to happen.

She had the highest bounty possible because of the rumors of her having information on everyone - even the world government.

Once Sagina finished the food she put it down on the table to everyone's delight.

She whistled and black smoke made it's way up the table before Lex appeared with a happy squeak.

'Cute.~' Robin and Nami thought.

"Thank you, Sagina!" Lex chirped while wagging his tail before digging in.

"Anything for my sweet little fluff-puff" she cooed while scratching his ear.

"Your food is amazing Sagina!" Luffy grinned with his mouth full and Sagina covered her face.

"Aww thank you!" she squeaked while blushing and jumping in joy.

After a good night's sleep, the straw-hats were sitting on deck chatting with Sagina, (Y/N)'s first commander - Belua and her second commander/navigator - Navita.

Navita was shorter than everyone else with pink and blue hair and she had a scary fascination with cutting people open, so she was quite jealous of Law and his devil fruit powers. Even though she was nice and really smart, she was kinda scary.

Belua was the tallest of everyone and stronger built. Se had short purple slicked back hair and looked so handsome that she even had Robin and Nami blushing. She was a quick thinker and (Y/N)'s greatest fighter, which made her the first commander.

As (Y/N) came up on deck, the women gave her a small bow of their head and she nodded in return before standing by the tip of the ship with her hands crossed behind her back.

"So that is Caeli." Robin stated and Sagina nodded.

"Don't mind her too much, she's a brilliant captain. She just never smiles" she continued.

"Ever?" Chopper asked.

"Only with Lex. It's not a surprise since he's been with her for like, ever." Navita said while looking over at Lex jumping up on (Y/N)'s shoulder and cuddling her cheek.

"Can I ask you guys something?" Robin asked and they nodded. "All of your names, they're in Latin right?"

"Yes. They're not our real names since it's too risky so Captain named us all." Belua muttered while slightly glaring at them, still not trusting them.

"So that means." Robin thought for a second "Belua means beast, Navita is navigator, Sagina means provider and Caeli means air."

She giggled "It really suits all of you."

Belua looked away slightly blushing "It's just 'cause I fight well."

"And her temper." Navita whispered towards Robin and Nami.

Belua glared and smacked her over the head.

"See?! You just proved me right!" Navita said while sticking out her tongue.

"Anyway! I've noticed you don't seem to have doctors here." Chopper informed Sagina to change the subject and she giggled.

"Oh, we all have medical experience. Captain taught all of us. The only people with 'titles' here are our Captain, Navita, and Belua. Everyone here has medical, cooking and fighting experience. Having a title here depends." she shrugged and they looked at her in amazement.

"Depends on what?" Chopper asked.

"Well, I'm the cook because I'm the most motherly here" she smiled. "Belua and Navita have their titles because they were the people she started this crew with."

Nami looked over at (Y/N) and back at Sagina "So she named Lex as well? What would that mean?"

Robin thought for a moment "It's also a very regular name Nami-chan. But if it were to be translated it would mean 'Law'. " she said.

"Belua. Navita. Sagina." (Y/N) called out without turning around. "Back to work."

"Aye Captain." they said before getting up and gave apologetic smiles as they left.

"So Caeli-chan!" Luffy grinned as he walked over to stand in front of her, causing her to look down at him with a raised brow.

"When's breakfast?" he asked with an innocent goofy smile plastered on his face and she looked at him for a moment before patting his head, surprising everyone.

"Sagina will call for everyone when she's finished." she said while looking back out at the ocean.

Late at night when everyone was asleep, (Y/N) stood by herself while watching the stars reflected in the calm waters and breathed in the fresh air as she listened to the waves the ship caused.

Law rubbed his eyes and made his way through the halls, his insomnia wasn't something unusual but this time he wasn't at his ship and had no way of working to kill time.

"Now I see fire, inside the mountain
I see fire, burning the trees"

He looked around, trying to identify the sudden singing. It was muffled so it had to come from outside.

"And I see fire, hollowing souls And I see fire, blood in the breeze"

He opened the door and saw (Y/N) before he made his way outside carefully.

"And I hope that you'll remember me..."

She spat out the last sentence and suddenly Law noticed the tiny fox jump in her lap.

She smiled while stroking his fur and he started making a squeaky clicking sound. Kind of like when a cat purrs.

"Is it difficult?" he asked while lying down on his back so that she could rub his belly.

She smiled sadly and nodded while petting him gently.

His ears went down as he stood on his hind legs while placing his front paws on her shoulders and licked her tears away. She chuckled and scratched his ear.

"I wish there was something I could do..." he said looking down and she laughed before rubbing her nose against his fluffy cheek.

"I love you Lexy." she smiled warmly but her smile was quickly gone when her earpiece went off.

"Report. Yes? Birdy's arrived? Good. He is to be under constant watch and if he as much as sneezes I want it on record. C out." she said before turning it off.

"It's starting?" Lex asked while wagging his tail happily and she nodded with a cruel smile.

They went silent and Lex's hackles raised as he glared behind him.

"Don't stare like that it's rude! Moron!" he growled but it sounded more like yelping.

"Lex." (Y/N) sighed and scratched his ear, instantly calming him down.

She looked over to see Law standing there and, while she kept her calm expression, her heart was thundering against her chest.

"What is your business with Doflamingo?"

She sighed "I told her that birdy was too easy of a code." she muttered while shaking her head.

"Answer the question."

(Y/N)'s eyebrows rose in feigned surprise. "Well aren't you a little too confident?" she said while walking over to him. "Giving a captain orders?"

"I am a captain as well." he said in a bored tone.

"Useless title when you are on my ship." she replied coldly. "I also know you are a devil fruit user so if I decide to throw you off this ship you will not stand a chance. So I suggest that you chose your next words very carefully." she finished while crossing her arms.

"Just tell me what business you have with him." he insisted while keeping his steely gaze on her.

'Please leave..' she thought to herself before shrugging. "He's a pawn of a bigger game." she replied.

He sighed. "I understand that. But I want to hurt him directly. He took someone important from me." Law said while looking down as Corazon popped up in his thoughts, ignoring the initial shock of sharing that information with her.

Her face fell a little. "I get it. But I'm not going to risk anything because of your personal feelings." she said coldly and he scowled. Her heart hurt at this but she mentally braced herself.

"You don't know anything about me." he seethed.

She turned her back to him, signaling for him to leave. He was about to say something before Lex gave him a warning growl. He turned but before he could go back inside, she spoke.

"I never make promises. But if there's an opening I'll leave him to you." she said without turning her back.
