Indra Ōtsutsuki‎, the eldest son of Hagoromo Otsutsuki or better known as The Sage of Six Paths. 

When he was young he was very carefree and loving child who looked after and played happily with his younger brother, Asura. He was a very mature for his age, he understood the importance of patience and thinking things through. He was very protective of his younger brother and worried about the future of Ninshū when others began to deviate from its original nature following his discovery of chakra transforming. Even after he was revealed as a prodigy, he took the praises of others with modesty, since he only wanted to help others. He was also very committed to his studies and regular practice.

After being denied his rightful place as the heir to his father's teachings, he became angry and bitter at both his father and Asura, and Black Zetsu used this to his advantage. Unknown to Indra and the others he possessed him and that was how he became power-hungry. However, when he was dying, his mind became clear and was shocked at the things that he did, after all he loved his brother with all his heart and he died after saying an apology to his brother with a small smile. And now we find him in a black void of nothingness. 

Black Void

"Ngh.. "Indra slowly opened his eyes and sat up. He put his hands on his face and remembered the events that happened. Tears came dripping down from his eyes. 

I am sorry...I'm so sorry....please forgive me Asura...forgive me father for not being strong enough to hold him off....I'm so sorry...I wish I could turn back time and be with you once more little brother....

"I see that you have understood the consequences of your actions Indra Otsutsuki." said a mysterious voice..

"Who are you?" said Indra.

"I am the one who rules above all, you may call me Kami." said Kami.

"K-Kami?"

"That's right."

Indra quickly bowed. "Please forgive my rudeness, Kami-sama. I did not know who you were."

"It's alright young one."

"If it's not so much trouble can I ask you something, Kami-sama?"

"What is it?"

"Is- is Asura and my father alright? Are they happy? You don't have to answer if you don't want to."

"I see. Your brother, Asura, died after you took your last breath and your father has died as well."

A tear dropped down Indra's cheeks. He quickly wiped it away. "I-I see. Thank you for letting me know."

"That's quite alright. I am here to give you a second chance at life, Indra. Since you were possessed by that black creature ever since you were a child, I feel like you should live again as yourself. Will you take this offer, young one?"

"If-if possible I would like this offer for Asura. He deserves it more than me. I don't deserve to live after all the horrible things that I've done to my family and my friends, especially Asura. So please, if you want to reincarnate someone please do it for him instead of me."

"Hmm...what if I were to tell you that Asura was reincarnated as another person. Let me put it this way to understand it better, Asura's soul or chakra as you people call it, has been reincarnated into a different person now this does not mean that he is Asura himself, it just means that he has his chakra and some of his personalities in a way. If that makes sense."

"I-I see. Then I would like to live and protect this person that holds my brother's chakra as a way to apologise for all the things I did to him."

"Good good. Cause if you said no I would've sent you anyway regardless of your feelings. Ho ho ho."

Indra sweat dropped at the sudden change of attitude.

"Anyway, the person that I talked about his name is Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze. Now for some reasons that you will understand once you get there, he will be only known as Naruto Uzumaki. Toodles!"

"What! Wait!! What the hell is with that attitude change, suddenly!"

Konohagakure Hospital- After the incident with the nine tales 

"So are you sure that he's his brother?" the Hokage pointed at a raven haired baby that was sleeping next to a blond one. "I mean he has black hair and onyx eyes. Now, I know that neither Kushina or Minato had black hair and onyx eyes! I mean I understand Naruto, what with the blond hair and blue eyes minus the whiskers, but what the heck is with that kid he looks like an Uchiha for God's sake! Are you sure you haven't brought a different baby, Kakashi?!"

"Lord hokage, with all due respect do you take me for a fool?! I saw him with Naruto and Minato-sensei and Kushina-sama at the altar. Need I remind you that they told us that Kushina-sama was having twins. But you are right, he looks like an Uchiha."

"Troublesome." said Shikaku Nara who was standing next to Kakashi. "Hokage Sama, why don't you just do a blood test and get this over with. I understand that you're a bit skeptical about this but I can clearly say that he's related to Lord fourth and lady Kushina."

The Hokage sighed. "Boar, get the midic ninja here and get a sample of his blood."

"Hai hokage-sama." said boar as he Shunshined away.

After testing

"Well there we have it. That's a 100% match with them being his parents. So what are you going to do when the old war hawk asks you about this Hokage-sama." said Kakashi.

The Hokage sighed as he rubbed his temples. "He can go to hell for all I care. Why should I even tell him! I already guess that he knows."

"Why does Minato have to give me headaches even after he's dead."

"So are you going to tell them about the nine tails?"

"Yes. Now let's go to the meeting."

Meeting Room

When they entered the meeting room they were faced with chaos. everyone was shouting each other and blaming each other for the recent events. The Hokage got a tick mark.

"Silence! Now let's get this meeting started."

"Hokage Sama what happened to the nine tails is it dead?" said Tsume Inuzuka.

"Well not really."

"Then where is it?!" said a fact merchant.

He sighed. "The nine tails is sealed inside that child." he said as he pointed at Naruto.

"Kill the demon!" shouted the banshee...ahem....Mebuki Haruno.

"Kill it before it gets the power to kill us!" said another merchant. 

"Silence!" everyone became silent, but the hate was still there. "As I was saying this is a SS Rank secret, if anyone tells somebody else outside this council they will be executed on the spot understand!"

"What about the other one. Is he an Uchiha?" said Shibi Aburame.

Everyone looked at the hokage expectedly. "No he's not. his name is Indra Uzumaki. And no he's not an Uchiha in any sort of way. He is Naruto's older brother. They both will be sent to the orphanage. Now dismissed!"

5 years later...

Hokage's office

"How is this possible?! I, Hiruzen Sarutobi, the God of Shinobi, the hokage of Konohagakure, am defeated by the long standing enemy like all the other Kages. Why do you mock me?! I will destroy you someday you just watch paperwork!!"

The Anbu sweat dropped.

The hokage's door slammed open and broke the Hokage out of his misery. "Hokage Sama this is an emergency!" said the Jounin.

"What is it? Is Iwa attacking or some other village?!"

"Um...no."

"Then what's the emergency?"

"Well how can I say this...um...you see we found 3 chunins, 2 jounins  all bruised up and bleeding while one was dead...and they're um...

"Spit it out already!"

"Hai! They're hanging off a tree at the main gates by a rope."

Everyone sweat dropped.

"I see...um how did this happen, if I may ask."

"Well you see..."

flashback

"Hey it's the demon brat!"

"Kill it!"

"Hey look out! Two jounins are coming this way."

"What are you doing fellas?"

"Um nothing?"

the two jounins looked at the bruised up Naruto and smiled wickedly. Naruto flinched. "Well why didn't you tell us to join you as well!"

"Yeah! Now we can finally kill the demon!"

"Die!"

Before they could stab Naruto they heard a sound of electricity and saw a civilian standing with a blade made of lightning through his chest. The next thing they knew was being thrown to the wall making a crater as a result.

"You hurt my brother...now I'm going to hurt you 10 times more!" Indra said with venom.

The sounds of bones breaking and the screams could be heard all around konoha and it send shivers down their spines.

flashback ends

The hokage sighed. "I see. Cat!"

"Hai, Hokage sama!"

"Bring Indra and Naruto here."

"Hai!"

30 mins later

Naruto and Indra were standing in the hokage's office. Both had different expression, while Naruto was fidgeting, Indra was just standing still with a bored stoic look on his face. Everyone except them sweat dropped at the different expressions of the two brothers. 

"Hn..how can we help you Hokage-sama?" said Indra.

I swear if  we didn't do the blood test when he was born I would mistake him for an Uchiha. Especially Madara Uchiha. The hokage thought.

He along with his Anbu sweat dropped at the unusual Uchiha response coming from an Uzumaki.

The hokage cleared his throat. "I got a report from one of the Jounins that you hurt 3 Chunins, 2 Jounins and not to mention killed one civilian."

"Hn."

Hokage's eyebrows twitched. "Is there something you want to tell me?"

"Hn...there is."

"And what is that?"

"If anyone hurts my little brother..." Indra narrowed his eyes at the Hokage and the temperature of the room dropped. The Anbu and the Hokage felt fear like never before."

"I will kill them!"

"Aniki calm down." said Naruto.

"Hai hai."

The tension of the room quickly disappeared.

"A-Anyway. Please don't do it again." said the Hokage.

"Hn...let's go otouto."

"Hai!"

After they left, both the Anbu and the Hokage let out a breath that they were unknowingly holding.

That kid is terrifying. He's so much like Madara that is scary. thought all occupants of the room.

"Now as for you." the Hokage glared at the paperwork that had somehow doubled. "I will defeat you this time!"

Outside

"Aniki. Can I ask you something?" said Naruto with a seriously.

"What is it?" said Indra without looking at him.

"Why did you hurt those people that were hurting me back there?"

"You just answered your own question, otouto."

"What! No I didn't!"

Indra smiled and looked at him with a serious expression. "Well the truth is..."

Naruto leaned it.

"It's a secret!" he smirked.

Naruto face faulted at his brother's answer. "Come on I'm serious!"

"Oh how about we get some ramen."

"Yes Ramen! Hey wait a minute. Don't avoid my question!"

"Hn..." Indra smirked at him.

"Why you!"

Indra ruffled his brother's hair and smiled slightly. "Come on lets go."

I'll always protect you Naruto. I will protect you even if it means that I have to die. I failed Asura as an older brother. But I promise you I won't fail you. Indra thought with a serious expression.

"Aniki, why did you get so serious suddenly?"

"It's nothing otouto I was just thinking of how adorable you look when you get angry!"

"WHAT??!!"
