It's been a month since the disappearance of Jeon Wonwoo.

And Jihoon is seeing a living hell in front of him in the form of Kim Mingyu's life.

Mingyu is Soonyoung's best friend but he is also his friend, and Jihoon gets hurt by seeing how he is living his life in this past month.

He is broken, hurt, angry, frustrated, desperate, and also.. confused . And as his friends, both Soonyoung and Jihoon can't give him any help since Wonwoo also stopped contacting them. It really feels like Wonwoo is disappearing and no one really knows why. No one can give them an answer except maybe, his parents. But his parents are a fucking wall and maybe the reason of his absence in his boyfriend and friend's life.

Even for Jihoon, this event hurt and confused him so much. Can you imagine how painful it is for Mingyu? Jihoon doesn't know how to use present tense or past tense for their relationship but Mingyu is (or was) Wonwoo's partner, Jihoon believed that Mingyu had finally found his soulmate in Soonyoung's best friend. But now...

He is leaving him alone without any explanation.

And of course Mingyu can't accept that.

And yes at first, he didn't believe that Wonwoo was already flying out from this country. He thought that his mother was lying to him and it made sense even for Jihoon because he also saw how Wonwoo's mother acted to Mingyu that day. It was a great idea to accompany Mingyu to Wonwoo's house because at least he was there when Mingyu couldn't even move his body and just broke into Jeon's family garden.

But there is a little bit of hope inside him that makes him move, to search for his lover.

Everyday, everyday he never was in his apartment. He searched for Wonwoo everywhere. He went to their favorite Vietnamesse's restaurant, to Wonwoo's favorite bookshop; he was still hoping that Wonwoo would show up at the university so he waited there everyday. Not only at university, Mingyu also went to the hospital every single day and almost got prisoned for disturbing a public area because he screamed like a madman to one of their doctors to ask for Wonwoo's information. Of course the doctor won't tell him, it would violate his code of ethics.

Not only places where he and Wonwoo both often visited, but he also searched him on the streets. He went out every night, just to search for a little bit of Wonwoo's scent.

"I can find him, I can only scent him so it is my job to find him."

But friend, how do you find someone who doesn't seem to want to be found?

At first, Jihoon also didn't believe that Wonwoo just left them like that but he was the most logical one in their circle so it's hard not to see the sign that Wonwoo was indeed leaving them without any words and explanations. If he still wanted to be back at least to his partner, he should give something that made Mingyu's life a little bit less miserable.

Three days ago, Mingyu was flying to Germany. He really went that far just to find his omega. Soonyoung and Jihoon didn't really agree with that idea but Mingyu insisted.

"If it's true that Wonwoo is already leaving this country, I will find him there."

There was a huge argument between Jihoon and Mingyu but in the end Jihoon ended up losing because it was too painful to see Mingyu's face that day. He is just too broken to be called a human.

Mingyu, who is always alone all his life, finally has someone to share his loneliness with, someone he loves so dearly despite the short time of their time together. And that someone is leaving him alone again without giving him any clues of what is happening.

And that also made Soonyoung -his soulmate- went out to Germany to accompany Mingyu to find you. It's Sunday and Jihoon is on his way to the nearest bakery to buy some bread for his breakfast when Soonyoung's calls him. He asked Soonyoung just to bring back Mingyu if after one week they can't find Wonwoo there, it's not a week yet since their departures but the serious tone on Soonyoung's voice makes Jihoon stop his car right away and park it on the side of the road.

"Is everything okay?"

"Mingyu is in the ICU right now."

"What?"

"He collapsed in our hotel room when we wanted to go out to search for food."

Jihoon groans, of course he will eventually collapse. He had trouble sleeping and looked like he didn't take any sleeping pills to help him to sleep, he barely ate anything and that damn alpha was definitely exhausted. If Jihoon wanted to talk brutally, Mingyu looked like shit. He got thinner this past month, his sleeping bag is so dark and his eyes are losing his light. He looked like someone who was sentenced to death by the court.

"His sleeping's problem was getting more concerning and his body couldn't take it anymore. All this time he suppressed his headache in front of us but today it attacked him until he was unconscious." Just from the voice, Jihoon knows that Soonyoung wants to cry right now. He feels so bad for his best friend and Jihoon needs to do something.

So he drives his car again, not to the direction of his initial planning, but to the house that is still too big and too cold for his liking.

He doesn't know what he will do there but he is also getting frustrated with everything that is happening right now.

An hour later when he arrives at that damn house, he expects that the security won't give him access to go inside the house. And it's true. That makes him think, before, it felt like the owner of this house intentionally asked them to go inside.

Wonwoo's mother really planned to say that to Mingyu, that means she knew who Mingyu is and what he is to Wonwoo. And yeah, she was giving Mingyu a hard slap by rejecting him. It was a rejection, indeed. Jihoon is finally reaching that conclusion.

The security is still giving him a hard time by rejecting his request to enter the house and Jihoon is getting pissed off. The anger and frustration starts to build up inside him and he rolls his eyes in annoyance to those securities in front of his car. Does Soonyoung or Mingyu ever say something about Jihoon's temperament? Jihoon is easily getting angry and if he gets angry, does anyone know what he will be doing?

If you don't know, Jihoon himself will tell you that he will go insane. He can do anything if he gets mad, so making a fuss in front of Wonwoo's house is something he will be doing when he is angry.

Jihoon knows the owner of this house can bring him to the nearest police station but at this point he doesn't care, he just presses his car's horn hard and unstoppable. The peace of this house is definitely ruined by Jihoon's car.

"JEON WONWOO!!! IF YOU ARE INSIDE, COME OUTSIDE!!!!" He shouts right and left. "ARE YOU A KID??? WHY ARE YOU PLAYING HIDE AND SEEK WITH US!!!!"

Ten minutes later Jihoon is still shouting while pressing his car's horn and the security is definitely reporting this to the people inside because the next five minutes the gate is starting to move in front of him. Jihoon smirks, his idea is resulting in something, at least.

This big wall is finally opened for him.

He expects Wonwoo's mother will greet him but nope, there is another woman, an older woman if he compares with Wonwoo's mother age, who is glaring at him while shaking his head.

"Who are you making a fuss in front of other people's houses?" The old woman shouts at him and Jihoon is shocked at how loud her voice is. Jihoon is getting out of the car. This is his only chance.

"Hello, auntie. My name is Lee Jihoon, I'm Wonwoo's friend." This auntie looks like she isn't surprised by his name and just looking at him with a cold face.

"What do you want, Jihoon?" She asks coldly.

Ok first thing first, he needs to know who this old woman is.

"Are you Wonwoo's grandmother?" Jihoon tries to guess but the old woman laughs at his question.

"I'm only this house's nanny. Don't expect anything, I don't have the right to allow you to go inside."

Wonwoo's parents are definitely not here. If they are here, they will ask someone to chase him away, someone stronger than the two security guards in front of the gate. Not a weak and small old woman with a lot of white hairs in his head.

She wants to know the reason why Jihoon is here.

And she is this house nanny.

Jihoon smiles when he finally finds the answer to his question. He needs to find someone who can give him an answer, someone who has the possibility of witnessing all the things that happened inside this house.

He collapsed in front of Soonyoung and after that his best friend rushed him to the nearby hospital.

He didn't know how long he'd been unconscious but it seemed like it's over a day already.

He is pretty sure that the doctor in this country is giving him a lot of tranquilizer and sleeping pills because he is so sleepy. He wakes up one minute and the next thing he is sleeping again. It occurs so many times, it makes him can't separate which is reality and which is his dreams. Mingyu knows that his body needs sleep but being forced to sleep like this doesn't feel good. He feels so weak and useless.

He needs to find Wonwoo.

The memory of him makes Mingyu's heart beat in pain.

He doesn't know anymore if it beats because of his love for him or because of the pain that caused by him.

He suppressed his brokenness and acted like he is okay so whenever Wonwoo comes back to him, he can see his life as a whole. Not a piece of him that is getting broken and broken every day Wonwoo is getting far away from him.

"Jeon Wonwoo." Mingyu calls him softly. He misses calling his name. "Wonwoo."

His boyfriend doesn't reply to his calling, he just looks at Mingyu with so much emotion dancing in his eyes right now. He looks so broken yet so relieved with Mingyu's existence in front of him.

"Wonwoo, where are you all this time?" Mingyu tries to smile, he doesn't want to show Wonwoo his broken side. He wants Wonwoo to always see him happy. "You know, I'm missing you like crazy."

Why are you leaving me alone?

Mingyu can't ask that because the image of Wonwoo in his dream right now is breaking him so badly. All his pain and suffering from his disappearance are long forgotten. Wonwoo looks so fragile like a bubble, like he can burst into nothingness if someone presses him any further.

"Are you okay?"

And seems like he is the one that burst that bubble. He pulls the trigger and now Wonwoo is looking at him with so much pain and love at the same time.

How is it possible?

"Mingyu..."

Finally, he calls my name again.

"Kim Mingyu."

Wonwoo looks like he wants to say something but he can't, so at the end, he only calls Mingyu's name repeatedly and Mingyu is waiting for him there. In his hospital bedroom, looks up to Wonwoo's beautiful yet broken face in front of him. He waits for him, again .

"Can you let go of me?"

And the thing he says after calling his name is definitely something that Mingyu doesn't expect.

"Wonwoo.. you can't say that even if it's only a dream." Mingyu tries to smile again but every time he tries to fake his smile it feels like there is a sharp knife stabs directly to his heart.

"I miss you so much and finally you came here to meet me, right?" Mingyu knows he sounds so weak and helpless. His sickness and the drugs that were injected into his body were very strong. It's either his dream or his hallucination because none of this feels real for him.

"Hmm, this is only your dream. And because this is only a dream I want to tell you something I shouldn't." Wonwoo comes closer to him and places his hand on Mingyu's hand. He winces at the touches and then he smiles. He looks so tired of something that Mingyu doesn't know.

"Listen to me, Kim Mingyu."

Mingyu knows that he is being loved once again just from the way Wonwoo looks at him right now.

"Our lives are not our own, we are bound to others, past and present. We are here today because of someone's kindness and mercy. So, even though breathing feels so wrong, I will try to keep living." Wonwoo tries his best to not cry and Mingyu hates to see it.

"But, I don't deserve any more happiness in my life, Mingyu. That's why I can't be with you. Because being with you, I feel so much happiness and I don't deserve that. But you are always one of the most important pieces in my life; past, present, and future . And I still want to see you living your life happily."

Mingyu wants to ask what Wonwoo is trying to say to him, but his vision starts getting darker again. The drugs, the sleeping pills are taking him again. He wants to stay awake as best as he can but Wonwoo's voice is getting farther and farther.

"So please, don't be sick. Please stay healthy... and alive ." Wonwoo's voice is shaking at the word and it is the last thing he hears before the darkness is consuming him fully and his dream stops right there.

His dream of Jeon Wonwoo visiting him in the hospital in Germany while still holding onto his passport and his flight ticket on his left hand as if he rushed to this hospital once he was landing in this country.

As if he loves Mingyu so much that hearing he gets sick makes him leave anything that held him in his place and took a 16+ hours flight to meet him here.

Just to make sure that Mingyu is still breathing, co-existing with him, in this world, even though maybe they will be breathing separately.

Mingyu doesn't know if this dream is a happy dream because he finally meets Wonwoo again or a bad dream because Wonwoo is saying goodbye to him, once again.

Need five freaking days for Mingyu to finally get his strength back and the side effects of the drugs he took to regain his strength is finally gone.

Soonyoung is helping him to pack his things at the hospital and they plan to get back to the hotel before discussing what they will do next. Wonwoo is definitely not in this country and what his mother said to him before, as expected, was a total lie.

Soonyoung knows Daniel, Wonwoo's old roommate when he lived here. He is an informant for both Mingyu and Soonyoung to search for Wonwoo's traces in this country. Even though he is currently on a trip to Singapore - his homeland- and not in this country, he was helping them a lot.

From him, Mingyu knows the places that Wonwoo loved to visit here. He went to each place one by one. From his favorite coffee shop, his place to do gym every weekend, to his favorite's Korean restaurant whenever he misses his homeland's authentic food, and one of his favorite's place was a big and old library in the center of the city.

He definitely loves reading.

This trip somehow makes Mingyu feel closer to Wonwoo and to his world before their encounter even though he still can't find him anywhere. But his ghosts are everywhere in this city, this city is definitely his aesthetic. It feels like Mingyu is swimming into Jeon Wonwoo's world.

"I will take care of the administration first, friend. After everything is finished, I will go back here and we can go back to our hotel. Just stay here."

Even though sometimes they look like they don't care, they are very great friends. Mingyu feels sorry because he gives Soonyoung so much trouble when they are here, now the man must take care of Mingyu's belongings and his hospital administration.

When it is all over, Mingyu promises himself that he will give Soonyoung and Jihoon free tickets to Hawaii since Soonyoung is always saying that he wants to go there.

Wonwoo looks thinner than Wonwoo in his memory, his face is still as handsome as he remembered him but there is something different in his face. His eyes, the eyes that can make Mingyu go insane in any second, also feel different . Mingyu tries to understand him and nods even though he doesn't understand. But he tries to be patient once again.

"Do you really want to break up with me?" Mingyu asks once again. He knows that Wonwoo might be lying, but his words stab his heart like no other. He starts to feel the pain.

What has he ever done wrong to deserve this? Whenever he loves someone, all he gets is only pain. His parents, now his lover.

Why is this world so harsh to him?

And he is an alpha.

It is in his nature to always take control, to know everything, to people especially omega depends on him. But Wonwoo makes him feel so little.

He hates this so much.

The anger starts to boil up inside him, Wonwoo looks up to him and walks a step behind again when his hand is still in the alpha's grasp. Seeing Wonwoo can walk away from his life again makes the anger boil up faster.

The frustration of searching him, the desperate feeling of wanting him to not go missing from his sight again are so vivid in front of him and he doesn't want to feel that way again.

Wonwoo is in front of him right now and if Mingyu doesn't do something he will forever be gone from his life.

He doesn't want that.

He can't allow that.

"Wonwoo, I'm not accepting that. You want to break up with me? You want to disappear again from my life? No. You can't. I'm not allowing you to do that for me." Wonwoo looks up to him and for the first time, Mingyu can see the fear in his eyes.

Wonwoo is finally aware that Mingyu can do anything to him. It's not in his nature to always be patient and yield to him. Mingyu can always take control and demand everything.

Just like what happened when Mingyu almost impregnated him in that bathroom.

That time, at the last moment, he gained his control again over his mind and his body. He knew how to stop and control his own needs.

But right now, Mingyu doesn't think he can't stop himself when there is so much anger, disappointment, pain, and sorrow he built up for at least these past one month. But one thing that triggers him the most is the sight of Wonwoo walking away from him again if he doesn't do anything.

"Even if I die, I can't let you go."

And with that he drags Wonwoo's with him to his car.

"Mingyu, where are you going to take me?" Wonwoo asks him in panic once Mingyu starts driving his car. He looks scared but he tries to act calm.

But Mingyu doesn't answer. There are so many things happening inside him right now. He becomes so sensitive because suddenly he can feel everything. All the things he kept suddenly exploding inside him makes him realize how he loves and hates Wonwoo at the same time.

The sound of his phone's ringing is getting on his nerves.

He looks besides and sees that his mother is trying to call him.

His mother, someone who looks like a mastermind of his and Wonwoo's suffering.

Mingyu knows he does something bad, but he just hates it if someone is going to be on his way and takes Wonwoo away from his life again.

So he snatches Wonwoo's phone from his hands and throws it outside from his car's window.

Wonwoo is shocked by the sudden move but Mingyu's cold and silent glare at him makes him not say anything.

Mingyu doesn't know where to go, he just drives his car to an unknown place. Wonwoo is still sitting nervously beside him, he knows if he does or speaks something. It will trigger Mingyu so much, because that alpha besides him is already losing his control over himself when he said that he wants to break up. All Mingyu sees right now is in the color of red and he is raging.

Wonwoo knows that.

After more than an hour on the road, Mingyu stops at one hotel in a suburban area. He grabs Wonwoo's hand again and drags him inside with him, he grabs it so tight because he fears that Wonwoo will run away from him again.

He opens the door of their hotel room and locks it right away. He looks at Wonwoo who is looking at him nervously. His shaking eyes show him that he is fully aware that he won't ever win over the alpha named Kim Mingyu. A raging Mingyu in this case.

Mingyu looks at his neck deeply and feels something on his stomach. His omega beautiful neck is too empty for his liking.

Why didn't I mark him yet?

Maybe he won't run away from him again if he does that.

Mingyu walks closer and again Wonwoo walks away, until he can't , because there is a large bed behind him.

"Mingyu.."

Mingyu smirks.

"You can't run away from me again, omega."

Mingyu pushes his omega on the bed and straddles him.

He will do anything just to make Wonwoo stay with him, even though he will hate him in the future. He doesn't care. Because Wonwoo was already giving him a spoiler, how to live a life without him on it. It was only a month and Mingyu was tasting hell.

He doesn't want to visit that place called hell again, so he will do anything in his power to make Wonwoo stay with him.

He can lock him up, if that is what it takes to make Wonwoo stay with him.

How was it? is this chapter okay? this basically my favorite chapter so far, i'm so excited to write this, what do you think of it? and for the next two chapters (at least) we gonna see on Wonwoo's point of view so the story will be going back for awhile. what happened to Wonwoo in this one month of his MIA era? is anyone curious about it? hehehe so calm down, we gonna see what will happen to Mingyu and Wonwoo in that hotel room in the next three or four chapters hehe
