No, you're so wrong if you think that Kwon Soonyoung is mad at his two best friends.

Soonyoung isn't mad at neither Mingyu nor Wonwoo. They are both Soonyoung's best friends before anything, and he isn't in the position where he should be mad. So what if two of your best friends suddenly show an interest in each other? Even though in Mingyu and Wonwoo's case it was a little bit weird.

Soonyoung is happy if finally, Mingyu finds someone that he can share his deepest feelings with, which he couldn't share with Soonyoung. He knew, he always knows that Mingyu is covering so many things in front of him. Not in a bad way of course, but sometimes Soonyoung was always wondering why Mingyu's eye bags were getting darker and darker each year he knew him.

"So, what is it? What is happening between you? Mind to tell?" Soonyoung asks again after they are all ordering something from the menu and waits for the food to be served at their table.

Mostly Wonwoo is the one who tells them the story. Soonyoung is amazed by all the information he gets today from two of his best friends. To put it simple; Mingyu can't smell any omega's pheromones (that's why he never showed any interest in any omegas, this man!) but somehow he can smell Wonwoo's pheromone and it only works for Mingyu because Wonwoo's pheromone can't be smelled by any other alphas, except for Mingyu.

Trying his luck, Soonyoung reaches Jihoon's hand under the table.

Wonwoo is still talking about how he feels sorry not to find Soonyoung earlier because there were so many things that happened in his and Mingyu's life. When he says that now they're living together, for the first time Soonyoung gives them his judging face. Then he looks at Mingyu's hand on Wonwoo's waist and they seem so comfortable with it.

"So are you two like.... ugh.. dating, right now? Isn't it too fast?" Jihoon finally opens his mouth and judges them right away. Good job my lovely boyfriend! His judging faces and questions are indeed needed at the moment.

Soonyoung wants to voice out his disbelief because he needed a freaking year to make Jihoon accept him and they are finally living together and these two crazy people.. Somehow, need only.. What? Several weeks? It was less than a month!

"No, we aren't dating..." Wonwoo clarifies but then Mingyu is adding his statement by the word;

Soonyoung and Jihoon both roll their eyes at the same time.

Soonyoung smiles at Wonwoo, he rarely sees this side of him. It's refreshing. Seeing Wonwoo panicking and not knowing what to say is refreshing. And yeah, Soonyoung was right. Mingyu is indeed having sleeping issues. He just didn't want to tell him that.

"You know, Mingyu." Soonyoungs look at Mingyu. "I always want you to have someone that can be more than friends, someone that can be your true companion. I'm glad that I'm talking about Jeon Wonwoo all this time."

Mingyu smiles at him and nods.

Soonyoung can see how much Mingyu loves and adores Wonwoo just from one hour of them talking together. Their gestures, their eyes whenever they reach each other. Jihoon is whispering something to him when Wonwoo was pardoning himself to go to the toilet and Mingyu followed him after.

"Can you see that, Young? How do they move? If Mingyu touches his food, Wonwoo is doing it right after him. If Wonwoo smiles, not long Mingyu will also smile. Maybe they didn't realize it, but they move synchronized together."

Jihoon is always more observant than Soonyoung, he catched things Soonyoung didn't catch.

"JIRISAN? MOUNTAIN?! I'M IN!" Wonwoo is so excited by Jihoon's proposal, he is almost screaming in the middle of this cafe. He looks at Mingyu's direction excitedly.

"Mingyu, I never go to the mountains. Mom always forbids me to have a vacation in a mountain area, I will come. You will also come, right? You don't have classes on Friday."

Since they will use Soonyoung's car it will take more than 5 hours (not including resting time in the resting area) from Seoul to Jirisan, so they need to wake up early.

They will meet at Soonyoung and Jihoon's apartment at 6AM.

Mingyu was complaining hard. "Jihoon, are you crazy?! Why is it so early?"

Jihoon didn't give his attention to Mingyu's complaint and continued to show the rundown of their trip. Basically they will have their breakfast and lunch at the restaurant on their way to their final destination. Approximately, they will arrive at the guest house at 2-3 PM. Then, leisure time, at 5PM they will start their journey to see the stars on the mountain above and have a camp there. Their first night trip is camping. Wonwoo didn't know this before.

Right now, they four are all in the restaurant to have lunch like what Jihoon planned before. They are laughing because Soonyoung is currently telling a story about how he almost casted as an idol trainee for a boyband. That is something new for Wonwoo, he didn't remember Soonyoung told him this before. And so for Mingyu.

They are all laughing while eating food from the resting area.

Everything feels good, their journey in Soonyoung's car was also fun. They were talking nonstop, listening to music. He didn't expect Jihoon to be the one who started singing; they were all singing their hearts out in the car. It was so fun!

"How was your sleep, Jeon Wonwoo?" Jihoon greets him with a smile and as if he can read Wonwoo's necessity, he offers him a glass of water. Wonwoo accepts it gladly. Right after he finishes his drink he asks Jihoon when they arrived here.

"We're still on track, we arrived at 3PM. Mingyu didn't want to wake you up so he carried you to your room."

Wonwoo feels shy about the information, he tries to change the subject. "Where is Soonyoung?"

"Soonyoung is out there searching for some woods for our camping's necessity, then he may prepare the tents for us to bring this night. I'm preparing food."

Wonwoo feels so bad, he didn't do anything. "Can I help you with something, Jihoon?"

"Of course, join me to prepare this meat. The alphas love meat so much." Jihoon laughs.

Wonwoo is quick to help Jihoon with the food. He wants to open up his mouth to have another conversation with Jihoon, but that younger man is doing that first. "So, how is Mingyu?"

The moment Jihoon realizes that Soonyoung is here, Jihoon's eyes are never leaving that man. Soonyoung smiles stupidly while waving his hand excitedly at Jihoon and Jihoon looks at him as if he hangs the stars above his head.

Ah.. so that is how it feels to be in love with someone.

Then, not too long, a loud stomp comes into his hearing senses and then he can see Kim Mingyu's panicked face is searching for him. When he sees Wonwoo is there with Jihoon he exhales his breath roughly, he looks like he held his breath for so long.

"Wonwoo! Please just wake me up next time, seeing you not on my side when I open up my eyes scared the hell out of me."

Mingyu walks to him, his handsome face comes near him, and yes Jihoon...

He can also see the stars hanging up above Mingyu's head.

"This camping is such a bad idea, this one Soonyoung's idea by the way. So blame him."

They were arriving late at the camping site. After preparing so many things, mostly tents and their foods for dinner, they finally could eat at 8.30 PM. Mingyu was bickering a lot with Soonyoung and Jihoon hit them both to shut their mouths. Wonwoo was only laughing to see this scenery.

It was so chaotic yet so warm at the same time, he loves hanging out with Soonyoung and Jihoon. And of course, with Mingyu.

They are now sitting in a circle near the campfire.

They don't talk, everyone is so quiet (after the chaos of their preparation of the tent and dinner, it seems like everyone is running out of energy) but everything feels so comfortable. Wonwoo loves this. Everyone looks lost in the moment and just adores how beautiful our nature is, with the many stars and clear sky above them.

When Wonwoo looks up to the sky, he feels a warm hand is reaching for him. He looks aside and sees Mingyu is looking at him deeply. "Want to go with me, only two of us?"

Yeah, it's the right time to separate and have their own moment. Soonyoung and Jihoon also need their time so Wonwoo nods at Mingyu's invitation.

They walk hand in hand to the other spot of this mountain. It's almost near the end of the road and this place has the clearest sky compared to their tents and campfire area. He can see everything from above here.

Wonwoo agrees with that statement. "We can see a lot of stars here."

Suddenly Wonwoo feels a pang in his heart.

Wonwoo looks up at the sky once more time and focuses on that one brightest star. He points it out with his finger and smiles bitterly. "My twin brother is there."

Mingyu looks at him. He doesn't say anything, as if he is waiting for Wonwoo to continue his words. "I had a twin brother, Mingyu. It's such a pity I can't introduce you to him, because he is no longer in this world."

The air surrounding them is suddenly changed by Wonwoo's statement and he can feel Mingyu's tense in his side.

"Wonwoo, I'm sorry."

"Nah it's fine." Wonwoo smiles to reassure Mingyu that everything is fine for him. "His name is Wonho, yes... the meaning of his name is to protect . To guide like that brightest star above us."

"He has such a beautiful name."

Wonwoo nods. He remembers the reason behind it. "When he was born, father was so proud of him. Mother gave birth to a healthy alpha, the oldest one from two. So he gave him a name with hope that he can protect them because he is a strong alpha. And for me? They named me because they only want me to help my older twin brother, only as his support. Since birth I have always become the spare child for them."

The pain starts soaring in his chest like a flare.

"Wonwoo." Mingyu tries to calm him.

"Maybe the reason why my parents always forbid me to go to the mountains is because they didn't want me to see stars too clearly because it always reminds them of their loving son who left them first. The star who couldn't shine again because his time was up."

After the pain, the cold is starting to creep on his heart. He looks at Mingyu frustratedly. "Why can't I remember him, Mingyu? Why ?"

Mingyu reaches up to his face and he sheds tears there. Is he crying? He didn't even realize.

"Your mind might not be remembering him, but your heart is."

Is it?

"You love your brother so much, Wonwoo."

If it's true, then it may be the reason why Wonwoo feels like something just crushes his heart until it's hard for him just to breathe. Mingyu has already become his safe place where he can pour out all of his feelings, his hidden feelings. The feelings he tries to lock up somewhere in his heart for more than ten years. He tries so hard not to mind about his forgotten twin brother's death. But Wonwoo knows somewhere in his heart, he longs for his brother, he wants to remember him more, he wants to mourn him properly.

He wants to meet Wonho again and say sorry for becoming a bad sibling for him.

Mingyu looks at him as if he can read all the holocaust on Wonwoo's heart right now. He pulls Wonwoo into a warm hug and he tries to console him by his touches and his pheromones.

"I want to meet him again and say goodbye to him properly." Wonwoo starts to sob and he cries his heart out. "I want you to meet him. I want him to know that his twin brother is already falling in love with someone."

Mingyu freezes at his place and Wonwoo can feel his heartbeat start to beat faster. He heard it right.

Wonwoo pulls out from Mingyu's embrace and looks at Mingyu's eyes deeply, he tries to explain all of his feelings for the man in front of him. Wonwoo is still crying because he feels so much at the same time. It's so overwhelming; he feels the longing and guilty feelings for his twin brother and the deep love he has for someone that came into his life, unpredictably .

Jihoon was right, falling in love with someone can't be defined by measure of time. You meet someone and it just kind of hits you. You feel the thing for them that you can't feel for another person.

And the feeling he has for the owner of this contrast of light, sweet notes of pear, and bergamot with dark and intense woody scent is... love .

"I love you, Kim Mingyu."
