POV Third

After hearing from some guards about a pathway that leads to the docks from the watchtower, the three of you decided to release the other prisoners to cause a distraction. If only it was that simple.

Guards: "Who the blazes are you?!"

Y/n: "Aw, come on!"

Velvet: "Here they come!"

POV Y/n

As the guards come at us, we knocked them out with ease before continuing on. As we walked, I figured I'd start up a conversation... If I can...

Y/n: "... So... What's the plan once we leave?"

Velvet: "head for the capital, and kill Artorius. Simple as that."

Y/n: "WHOA WHOA WHOA, HOLD ON NOW!" *You run in front of the two, stopping then* "Are you serious?"

Velvet: "Deadly serious."

She walks around me as Seres walks up to me.

Seres: "alot has happened to her, same can be said about you."

Y/n: "Yeah, but..." *Sighs* "... If she keeps this up, she'll be fully corrupted..."

As I go to catch up with her, Seres grabs my arm, making me turn to her.

Seres: "Y/n, if the time comes, can I rely on you to take care of Velvet for me?"

Y/n: "What do you-"

Seres: "Please, Y/n. You're the only one I can trust. We may have had our differences before, but I didn't have free will then... Please..."

Y/n: "... Ok... If anything happens, I'll take care of her... But why are you worried?"

Seres: "..." *Looks at Velvet* "... I don't know, it's like something in my soul is telling me to take care of her... And I need reinsurance that if anything happens to me, that someone else can keep her from... Going over..."

After hearing Seres out, it does seem like she truly cares about Velvet...

Y/n: "Got it. You don't need to worry. If anything happens, I'll take good care of her."

Seres: "... Thank you."

The two of us make our way to catch up to Velvet, but as we do, we see her with a... OH FUCK MY LIFE!!!

Y/n: "oh Fuck no!"

Girl: "Mmm? Oh! It's the reject! Hello, Reject! 👋🏻"

Y/n: "Goodbye, Eyesore!" *You launch a fireball at her, only for her to dodge effortlessly* "HOLD STILL, WITCH!"

Girl: "Hmph! How dare a tool attack me!"

Y/n: "Oh, don't start with me, you bottom feeding, money grubbing, Bitch!"

Girl: "Why I never! Is that how you thank me for making sure they fed you?"

Y/n: "THEY FED ME RATS! AND THAT WAS ON A GOOD DAY!"

Velvet: "... Who the hell are you?..."

Girl: "Hooray, you asked! I'm thrilled to introduce to you the wise sorceress who travels the eleven seas, who scoffs at the might of dragons...-"

Y/n: *coughs* "bullshit" *coughs coughs*

Girl: "-... Anyway... None other then the acclaimed, the illustrious Mazhigigika Miludin do Din Nolurun Dou!-"

Y/n: "Bitch for short."

Girl: "AHHH!"

Girl: "WHY MUST YOU WOUND ME, REJECT!?"

Y/n: "STOP CALLING ME REJECT THEN!"

Girl: "🎶🎶🎶 NEEEEEVVVVVVEEEEERRRRRR 🎶🎶🎶"

Y/n: "I AM GOING TO BURN YOU TO A CRISP, YOU NO GOOD-!"

Girl: *as she runs away* "THE NAMES MAGILOU FOR SHOOOOOORRRRRRTTTTTTTTT!!!!"

Y/n: "GET BACK HERE, BITCH!" *Runs after her*

POV third

Velvet: "... Maggie-lou?"

Magilou: *pops up behind Velvet* "No!-" *Velvet and Seres jump away before turning to her* ""Mah", like "soggy shoe" or "doggie doo" or "call me any of those things and I'll turn you into a froggy-stew!""

Velvet and Seres stare at her until she sighs.

Magilou: *sighs* "I suppose you'll never understand. Hmph! People can be so tragically unlearned... But hey..." *Walks away* *in a sing song voice* "Like I care! 🎶"

Velvet and Seres decide to go after you as they talk to each other about the girl... Until they heard clashing of blades.

Velvet: "What was that?"

Seres: "Let's hurry!"

Clank!

Clank clank!

"GAH!"

As they enter the corridor, they see you on your knees, holding your arm as a mysterious guy holds an Exorcist's daggers at you.

Velvet: "Y/n!"

???: "More?" *Turns to them*

Y/n: *holding your bleeding arm* "Damnit... Velvet, Seres! Be careful! This guy's different!"

Seres: "A Daemon?!"

Velvet: "Seres, heal Y/n! I'll stall!"

Velvet charges at him while Seres ran around to heal you.

Seres: "Hold on, Y/n." *Casts First Aid*

Once you were healed, you charged at the demon to help Velvet, but he blocks your blade along with hers with ease before pushing you both back.

Velvet: "Tch!"

Y/n: "Damn, this guy's tough..."

Daemon: "... Tch. Chips in the blades already? Brittle, these exorcist knives. I gotta reclaim Stormhowl."

Velvet: "Stormhowl? That sword we found?"

He's entire body changed the moment he heard that, dropping the daggers as he ran to her.

Daemon: *Grabs her* "You found it?! Where? Do you have it? Please, tell me!"

Velvet: "It's in the storage room, down below."

Daemon: "Down below? You have my thanks!"

He then runs by, towards the storage room, leaving you three confused.

Y/n: "... Wtf just happened?"

Velvet: "He's an odd Daemon."

Seres: "We should consider ourselves lucky he seems to care more about a sword then our lives..."

Velvet: *turns to the pathway* "If things settle down, we'll miss our window. Hurry."

The three run through the pathway, heading for the tower...
