The only bad thing is that she's a double and doubles if you don't know readers in our world doubles are pretty rare. But I'm letting it slide because for the story to work you need her to be a double.
Backstory: Gene: never felt like she belonged, only one person ever understood her, they die, she's bullied, hates herself but doesn't show it, thinks she is a horable person, try's to disappear/blind in!

Personality: Gene; try's to be kind, stubern, doesn't think she deserves such grate friends, understanding (most the time), easily p.o.ed at times, artist, keeps to herself,
I think this is good but some of these are flaws
Family (Mom, Dad, Siblings, Nibbling, Kids? Are they dead or alive?): Their alive but her aunt died
Tragic the only person that understand her died....
