Gets curious about you after you beat her, making her decide to step down from being the gym leader and joining you on your journey.

After you two first met, she got curious about you and decided to join you on your journey, even though she's not a trainer. Starts to develop feelings for you early on, but gets shy about admitting them.

Marnie:
A young girl you met at the inn lobby near the Gym challenge arena. After getting defeated by you, she wishes to join you so that she can get stronger and closer with her Pokemons as well.

Bea:
(I own Pokemon Shield, so idk her character too much)
Meets you during one of her runs near Motostoke. After your gym battle against her, she decides to join you in your gym challenge.
