Love is a funny thing.

He loves her too... Jade gazes at Phantom's brilliant eyes. She is warm all over and she can't stand it anymore. She launches herself on top of him, rubbing her muzzle in the thick fur of his neck.
"I love you... I love you..!" Is all Jade can say.
"I love you!" her words turn into a whimper. She presses her head to Phantom's, hold his chest tight around her forepaws. He is on the ground, Jade laying on top of him, overwhelmed with emotion. Jade pulls her head up to look at Phantom. He looks stunned, but soon after, his eyes glow with warmth and his muzzle stretches into a smile.
"Hey, mutt." Phantom whispers. The first thing he said when he and Jade met.
"What did you just call me?" Jade says softly, warmth in each word. "I love you." Phantom susurrus. "I love you so much, you know?" His voice comes louder and more passionate.
"Yes." Joy surges through Jade fiercer then lightning. She starts to whimper again. Holding him so tightly, afraid to let go. "You're the best thing that ever happened to me..." Phantom gasps the words.
"You too." Jade said, almost chocking on fierce emotion.
"I love you!" He howls.
