Also, just a heads up, since Ruby and Yang disowned their own parents, I decided to give them both new costumes (especially since this is an AU sorta story) however, if you want them in their usual combat outfit from Beacon, go ahead and ignore the images I added in the story.

POV Ryuko

Just before we decide to attack, Mako jumps out of nowhere, hugging us both while eating bacon still.

Mako: *swallowed all the bacon in her mouth* "they've got multiple different types of bacons!" *Puts another handful in her mouth*

Ryuko and (Y/n): "Goddammit, Mako! NOT THE TIME!" *Tries to pry her off of you both*

Timeskip to night time, in the empty cafeteria where they sleep

Ryuko (mind): "Dammit, Mako messed us up! Still, I noticed that (Y/n) has been a bit on edge today... It's probably cause of them... They better hope I don't find them... Anyway, I wonder what the initiation will be, since old Ozzy isn't here..."

As I'm getting up to step outside, I hear whimpering near me, I turn around and I see that (Y/n) is shaking in fear, with tears escaping his eyes.

Ryuko (mind): "even after all this time, you still get nightmares..."

I then go a lay down next to him, hugging him to help him sleep. After a few minutes he calms down and goes to sleep, with me following a few minutes later.

Timeskip next day at an outdoor arena

POV third

Gamagoori: "LISTEN UP, PEOPLE! MY LADY HAS AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT TO MAKE!" *steps aside for Satsuki*

Satsuki: *steps on stage* "Now, listen to me. The initiation this year will be battles against any students, one of our one-stars members, one of the four generals or even myself. However, the generals and I may only fight once! What's more, this will decide who your partner is! Depending on the Synergy between you all, I may make you a two man team! Now, when I call your names, step forward and choose!"

You and Ryuko get nervous hearing this. This means you two can have a small chance at taking one of them out, though it'll be risky, and it'll depend on if you get teammates.

Satsuki: "RYUKO MATOI! (Y/N) MATOI!"

You almost did a spit take when she said that. The good news is you'll be teaming up with Ryuko. The bad news is that people now know your real name instead of your nickname... You decide it's best to keep your hood on during the test incase they are here so they don't recognize you.

Small timeskip

As you two get ready for battle, you feel like you are getting curious looks from the crowd around you.

Satsuki: "Now, Ryuko, choose the opponent for you two."

Ryuko: "... I choose-"

(Y/n): *whispering* "-don't go for the big fishes yet..."

Although she wanted to pick Satsuki, it might be risky. Plus there's the fact that two of her boyfriend's abusers are here. Why not get a quick revenge.

Ryuko: "... Can our opponent be two people?"

(Y/n): *whispering* "Ryuko, what are you planning?"

Satsuki: "As I said earlier, it can be either the generals, my self or any student, but they have to be second or third years. If you wish for two opponents, then that is fine as well."

Ryuko: "Heh! Then I pick two opponents! RUBY ROSE AND YANG XIAO LONG!"

You froze in place after you heard that, and if it wasn't for the fact she could kick your ass, you would have smacked her upside the head for challenging those two. Instead, you give her the death glare.

(Y/n): *whispering* "WHAT THE FUCK, RYUKO!"

Ryuko: *whispering* "don't worry about it. This'll be quick."

Then, two people stepped out onto the arena.

(A/n): still has Crescent Rose

Ruby: "Hello! Very nice to meet you two! My name is Ruby Rose, leader of team RWBY, and welcome to Beacon!"

Yang: "Calm down, Rubes. Hey, I'm Yang Xiao Long, also a part of team RWBY. So... Ready to start?" *Slams fists together*

You look at Ryuko again, yet she still has the winning smirk on her face for some reason.

(Y/n): *sigh* "what's the plan?"

Ryuko: "We beat the shit out of them, that's what. Senketsu!"

(Y/n): *gasp* "WAIT RYUKO!"

(Y/n): "... Couldn't you have fought them without the transformation? Now they know your Semblance!"

Ryuko: "Shut up!" *Charges at Yang*

The two fighters clash while you and Ruby hang back and let the two fight.

Ruby: *looks at you, but can't recognize you due to your hood being on* "Why is she like that?"

(Y/n): "... Heck if I know... Anyway, you wanna start fighting too?" *Holds your scythe backwards and crouches downward*

Ruby: "Sure, but... Do I know you?"

(Y/n): "... I won't say" *charges at Ruby using the recoil from firing the shotgun bullets to move fast*

You and Ruby start clashing blow for blow. Though you were faster then her when you used the recoil from the shotgun, you weren't as strong as her, so she was able to push you back when you tried to clash with her.

Meanwhile

Yang and Ryuko are also clashing blow for blow, but Ryuko was able to push Yang back even with her semblance active. What's more, Ryuko used her speed to slice at Yang very quickly, resulting in her taking more hits then she saw.

Within seconds, Ryuko was able to drop Yang's aura to the red, resulting in her defeat without her realizing it.

Back to (Y/n) vs Ruby

You and Ruby clashed once more with your scythes, however this time she hits you with enough force to knock off your hood, revealing your face.

Ruby: *gasp, tearing up* "B-brother?! Is that you?!"

Yang: *looks at you* "(Y/n)?!"

(Y/n): *tsk* "was hoping the hood would stay on... I'll end this quickly" *activates semblance*

All of a sudden, Ruby is surrounded by multiple black rose petals, creating a rose tornado. Then some start flying towards her, cutting up her aura and some even passing through her aura to cut her skin and clothing.

Ruby: "AAAAHHHHH!!!!" *Getting cut up by the rose petals*

Yang: "RUBY! (Y/N), STOP, PLEASE!"

(Y/n): "DID YOU ALL STOP WHEN I BEGGED?!"

Once Ruby's aura hit the red zone, the Rose petal tornado disappears, making Ruby fall on her knees before falling down flat on the floor, passed out from the force thrown at her.

Yang: "RUBY!" *runs towards her, and lifts her head up carefully* "Ruby! Please wake up!"

Ruby: *starts to wake up slowly* "owww.... Yang? What happened?"

Yang: "you were-"

Ryuko: "-You both were taught a lesson not to mess with us!"

They both turned around to face Ryuko, who's outfit turned back to her usual one.

However, once they saw you, tears started to show in their eyes from remembering the abuse they did to you, along with the blank stare you gave them. Before they could say anything, Satsuki spoke.

Satsuki: "The winners are (Y/n) and Ryuko Matoi!"

Starts stepping towards the two sisters.

Satsuki: "Now, what will you two do? You've lost along with your original team abandoning you both, so I'm considering expelling you both now. What's more, it seems you both have bad history with (Y/n), so... Why should I allow you both in this school still?"

???: "Because I wish to allow them... Why else?"

When she heard that voice, her body froze and shook for a second before she turned around, with the rest of us turning to see what or who she was looking at.

Satsuki: "Hello, mother."

(Y/n): "... Mother?..." *Looks at Ryuko, whispering* "Ryuko, this might be too much if her mother is here."

Ryuko: *whispering* "even so, I'm not backing out... What about you?"

(Y/n): *whispering* "I've always got your back... But let's be careful, I got a bad feeling about her..."

Ryuko: "same..."
