SMACK!

(Y/n) falls to the floor after getting punched by his "father" yet again, Tai.

Tai: "LISTEN TO ME YOU LITTLE SHIT! We got some very important people coming over for RUBY'S birthday, so stay here and BE QUIET!"

(Y/n): "..." *Nods*

Tai: "good... Maybe if you behave, I'll think about bringing you some food." *Walks out and slams door behind him*

Everyday is the same: Tai and Yang beat you up, Ruby and your "mother" use you for target practice (it's rubber bullets, but they still hurt!) And the only people who care about you are either away on missions, or being distracted by the family.

(Y/n): *sobs* "Why?..." *Sobs* "why do they hate me so much?..."

POV (Y/n)

Then I hear tapping outside the window, and when I look, I see a familiar raven and crow outside, with a note on their feet. When I open the window, the birds move the note towards me and fly downward. I decide to look at the note, which reads:

Dear (Y/n)

Sorry we can't do much to help you. Every time we try to, they try to distract us then force us to leave without checking on you. That's why, this time with Ozpin visiting, we are going to help. Me and Raven will bring you up, and it'll lead to us going to your room, so stay there. Once he sees how you are, he'll definitely help you as much as he can.

Once I read that, I start to worry. Even if this "Ozpin" sees me, he won't be able to help... That's when I decided to leave. I'm sorry Aunt Raven and Uncle Qrow, but I can't stay here.

I write two letters for them, one for "Them" and another for my Aunt and Uncle, and I decided to leave them on the rag that is my bed, then I open the window again, as I hear footsteps getting closer to the door, so I quickly jump out. As I land on the roof, I slip and start to fall till black rose petals surround me and then darkness.

POV Qrow

As we get near the room, I thought I heard something move outside. I ignore it to show Ozpin and Gylnda his room, along with the Rose/Xiao Long family protesting.

Once we get to the door, I open it... To see nothing but two notes on the floor.

Ozpin: "... THIS is his room?..." * Looks around the broken and baren room, then turns to Tai with anger* "Explination... NOW!"

Tai: "I... Well... We, uh..."

Qrow: *not looking at them, shaking with anger* "Everyone of them besides me and Raven abused and neglected him for years..." *Turns to Tai, looking very pissed off at him* "Why... WHY DID YOU DO THAT TO YOUR KID?! YOUR OWN FLESH AND BLOOD?!"

(A/n): replace Tyrian with Tai

Tai is unable to say anything, holding his now broken nose, and Summer is looking down in shame. I then notice two letters addressed to us, and read them out loud

Dear Rose/Xiao Long family

FUCK YOU! YOU'VE ABUSED ME FOR YEARS! I CAN'T EVEN WAIT TILL QROW COMES WITH OZPIN, I'M SO SCARED AND SCARRED BY YOU FOUR!

Tai and Yang, why did you beat me up till I'm black and blue?

Summer and Ruby, why did you shoot me with your guns?

From: your abused "son" (Y/n)

Second letter:

Dear Raven and Qrow Branwen

Thank you for always looking out for me, but I can't wait anymore, I have to go. Good bye and I'm sorry...

From (Y/n)

Once I was done, Summer broke down and confessed everything they did to him.

Ozpin: "... You mean to tell me that YOU, Summer Rose, the nicest person ever to attend Beacon, ABUSED YOUR OWN CHILD WHILE HAVING THE REST OF YOUR KIDS ABUSE HIM ALONG WITH YOUR HUSBAND?!"

She doesn't say anything as Ozpin looks ready to kill, with Glynda was also looking pissed off.

Glynda: "I can't believe you would do that! And to your own child no less."

Ozpin: *turns to Tai* "Mr Xiao Long, you have left me NO choice, Surrender your Huntsmen license, NOW!"

Tai: "Oz! Isn't that alittle extreme?!"

Ozpin: "Extreme?... EXTREME?! NO! THAT'S NOT EXTREME! YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT'S EXTREME?! ABUSING AND NEGLECTING YOU OWN SON! I HAVE HALF A MIND TO BAN ALL OF YOU FROM VALE!" *Turns to Ruby and Yang* "AND AS FOR YOU TWO, YOU CAN FORGET ABOUT BEING HUNTRESSES! THERE IS NO HUNTRESS ALIVE WHO WOULD EVER ABUSE A CHILD TO THIS EXTENT!"

As Ozpin begins to storm off, he stops in front of the door.

Ozpin: "If we ever meet again, I pray that you two have changed, Ruby Rose and Yang Xiao Long. I pray you can prove to me that you two are better than your parents."

Ozpin then storms out with Tai's license as Tai, Summer, Ruby and Yang started to cry. Then Raven came in from one of her portals, crying.

Qrow: "... No luck?"

She shakes her head no, and she looks at "Them" with pure anger.

POV third

Ever since, the Branwen twins have cut ties with the Rose/Xiao Long family and have been looking for you... But they never found you.

As for the Rose/Xiao Long, they regretted everything. Summer is suffering through depression, Ruby cries herself to sleep every day, Yang blames herself and refuses to get out of her room, and Tai started looking for ways to earn money outside of huntsman jobs.

Elsewhere

A girl is crying while she's walking around the city of Mistral, carrying a half of a giant scissor.

Girl: *sobs* "... Why did they do this?..."

All of a sudden, black rose petals start spinning near her. As she turns towards it, she sees a boy appear laying on the ground as the rose petals start to disappear. The girl, curiously walks up to the boy.

Girl: "W-who are you?..."

(Y/n): *starts to get up slowly* "... I'm (Y/n)... Who are you?"

Ryuko: "I'm Ryuko Matoi... Where did you come from?"

(Y/n): "..."

Ryuko: "... Do you have a family?"

(Y/n): "... No... They AREN'T family... No family should abuse their child..."

After he said that, the girl named Ryuko ran to him and gave him a hug.

Ryuko: "... If they really did abuse you, then don't worry. I won't let them find you."

You hugged her back saying thank you. After a while you two separate with her still in front of you.

Ryuko: "... Hey, how about being my brother?"

(Y/n): "h-h-huh?! Umm... o-ok... I guess... But shouldn't I change my name as well? So they won't find me?"

Ryuko: "... Yeah, I think so... I know!" *Stands up while sticking her hand out to you* "Your new name is Renji! (Y/n) 'Renji' Matoi!" *Gives you a big grin*

(Y/n): "Renji... Yeah, I l-like it... Thanks" *Takes her hand and stands up*

Ever since, You and Ryuko have been together for years, helping each other out. Both of you earning a meeting with Ozpin, resulting in both of you being able to go to Beacon Academy. It even ended up with Ryuko confessing her feelings for you, which, since you also had feelings for her, you accepted it quickly, telling her how you've been in love with her too. Now, your new life will take a turn, whether it's for the better or not depends on you!
