"Do you think Luffy and the others will be arriving soon then?" The redhead questions as she scoops up some food up with her fork before bringing it to her lips, her orbs essentially staring a hole through Law's face as the surgeon casually reads the newspaper in his hands. 

"I can't say for certain, Mugiwara-ya is unpredictable so we'll have to keep a lookout for him." 

"Well, you aren't mistaken there." The girl sporting a calm smile as she takes another mouthful of her meal, her brows knitting together however, when she notices Penguin in the corner of her eye. 

The boy is sat beside her with Shachi, the pair have wide eyes and their stares are fixated straight on her face, instantly managing to unsettle her. 

Her mouth is still full with pasta as she shoots a glare toward the males; "What?" She grumbles boldly, sounding a little muffled in the process due to the half-eaten meal still sat inside her gob and only earning herself a frown in return from Penguin. 

"Didn't your mother ever teach you not to speak with your mouth full?!" The boy semi-seriously scolds, only gaining himself a disapproving glare from his captain in return as Kyo quickly swallows her food before speaking again.

"Penguin-ya..."

"No, she didn't, but she did show me what the inside of a brain looks like." And with that, the girl continues to eat, completely bewildering both Penguin and Shachi in the process. Law's eyes falling closed as a sigh escapes his lips, his attention quickly darting back down to his newspaper.

It isn't like Shachi and Penguin really know much about her past regardless so her slightly twisted joke seemingly just went straight over their heads.

"I think he was just surprised to see you eating for once!" Shachi cheerfully explains but still with a somewhat shocked expression decorating what little features of his face that you can actually see past the hat and sunglasses. "You never usually eat this much food!"

Hm? Should I be offended by that?  

"Exactly!" Penguin exclaims, his eyes still glued to the girl as she finishes up the last of meal, setting the knife and fork down on the empty plate. "You ate all of it! What happened to you?!"

"What--? Nothing happened to me, I was just hungry!" 

"You're never hungry!" Shachi chimes in once again, earning himself a nod of agreement from his best friend and another sigh from Law - the poor surgeon just wants to read his newspaper in peace.

"We're just curious," Penguin piping up now, Law's attention slowly being drawn back toward the trio, his curiosity has seemingly been piqued also...that or he simply just gave up on reading with these chatterboxes in the background. "We wanna know when you started eating properly!"

That question sets the girl back a little, a thoughtful pout gradually engraving itself into her features as her brown eyes slowly trail up to Law, an uncertain hum sounding from her throat.

"I'm...not certain?"

You, doctor, you're observant. Help me.

"At some point during the past two weeks." Law calmly answers in her stead, closing the newspaper completely and folding in half before setting it down on the table beside him. "It would seem you've gained quite the appetite recently, Kyo-ya." 

That cheeky smirk on his face doesn't go at all amiss as the redhead shoots him a small smile in response. "And I wonder why that is, Trafalgar."

What she doesn't notice however, is the slight cringe etching itself into both Shachi and Penguin's faces as the subtle innuendo kicks in, the boys abruptly scampering to their feet and rushing toward the door.

She may or may not get hungry after...bedroom antics.

"Too much information!"

"Yeah, get a room, you two!"

The pair blurt out in unison, clearly embarrassed as they briskly leave the room together, causing Kyo to snicker to herself quietly and Law's smirk to widen slightly as he leans over the table, gently brushing his fingertips against Kyo's knuckles to gain her full attention. 

"Technically, we're already in a room."

"So we are, Trafalgar..."
