The News.

The redhead is sat beside Zoro aboard Bartolomeo's ship, the girl subtly skimming the pages of the newspaper that her moss-headed friend is reading; the front page is all about Doflamingo's defeat, something that makes her smirk.

He got what he deserved, after all.

"Bartolomeo, just hurry up and get us to Zou."

Law must be missing the crew, I hope they're alright.

"Who do you think you're talking to?!"

"I'm counting on you." Zoro murmurs calmly from beside the girl, what follows is some form of fanboying on Bartolomeo's part, Kyo's brows knitting together as she waits for Zoro to turn the page of the newspaper.

He's not as fast as her when it comes to reading but she can't argue with that, she was just pleasantly surprised to find that he could read in the first place.

Given how awful his sense of direction is, she had originally thought he simply couldn't read the street signs but no, seems that isn't the case...he's just dense.

The second page is about the Kid pirates but she doesn't get the chance to read much about them since information on the remaining Straw Hat's catches her ear.

"They were chased by Big Mom's ship..."

That baby-maker yonko? Well, that's no good.

However, when Zoro turns the page again, Kyo's attention is snapped back to the newspaper.

Her eyes just about blasting from her skull and the air inside her lungs feels like it had been punched right out of her as a certain picture fills her vision.

The title at the top of the short article says; "A pirate romance?"

And there's a photo of her and Law locking lips back at Dressrosa but she can't quite figure out how such a picture was even taken, there was so much going on at the time and the two were being very subtle as to avoid questions.

Neither of them are fans of explaining themselves.

Who would even have the chance to take such a photo?! Right after Doflamingo was--Of course...journalists are practically parasites.

Quite frankly, she wishes the ship could just come to life and swallow her up whole.

Zoro shooting her a questionable glance from the corner of his eye, further mortifying the girl as she slowly and subtly shakes her head at him, silently begging him not to bring it to everyone else's attention.

And thankfully, he doesn't.

Simply turning the page and allowing her to catch her breath.

Thank you...

"Oi, Luffy!"

Zoro! I swear to God, I will murder you!

"Seems like our bounties have gone up!"

And once again, she's catching her breath after being winded by her own anxiety.

Her seemingly-malfunctioning heart only calming when Bartolomeo and his crew start fanboying over the different bounties for each Straw Hat, the redhead has never been so grateful for this man's existence until this moment.

Once the Straw Hats have all been lead into Barto's ship and shown the...(what she could only assume is) a shrine, she grabs the newspaper and flips the page back to the small article, her eyes wide and face practically dripping with sweat as she reads the assumptions.

It would seem that the writer of this column couldn't work out whether it's a relationship or an 'arrangement' between the two, her brow twitching as she huffs to herself.

Great, pa's gonna love thi--! I should tell him before he reads the newspaper!

She isn't too fond of having her ear torn off by her disappointed father...again.

But he'll definitely be more livid if he were to find out from a piece of paper rather than the girl's mouth so with that, she slips off by herself to contact Dracule Mihawk.

Usually, she can sense when somebody is watching her but at this moment, she's so perplexed that she completely misses the fact that the surgeon is studying her every move and slowly beginning to wonder why she looks so distressed.
