When Doflamingo Was Defeated.

The plan hasn't gone too well but they're all alive and it's now up to Luffy.

Her hand rested against Law's back as she watches the Straw Hats' Captain fight, he has sure changed a lot in the past 2 years, she can still remember when he was nothing more than a pup just starting out.

Her eyes widening as the boy's King Kong Gun blasts through Doflamingo's defences, making contact with the lunatic's face. The impact from such power is astounding, the air is surely strong enough to blister somebody's skin if they were to stand too close.

He got him...

Bits of the earth is flying everywhere as Doflamingo hits the ground, she half-expects him to get back up but soon learns that isn't going to be the case, something she's silently grateful for.

Everybody has fought tooth and nail during this battle, they're all wounded and exhausted, if that feathered asshole got back up, there would be no telling whether or not Luffy would be able to take him down again.

No, he couldn't possibly fight anymore...

Her thoughts are only confirmed when the boy starts to rapidly deflate, like some kind of human-balloon.

"Room." Her wide eyes flickering to Law, his strength is also amazing, she has to wonder if it's because he's a 'D' or if he's just genuinely a determined person. "Shambles."

A mixture of both, perhaps.

A small smile etching itself into her lips as Luffy's body teleports behind them, being swapped with a rock, Rebecca already rushing over to the boy and checking up on him.

"He...He really did it." The redhead murmurs, still a little too shocked to fully process the victory, her attention shifting back to Law as she carefully hugs the wounded raven, being careful not to cause him any further pain in the process.

The birdcage is going away.

"You're surprised?" Law mutters quietly in response, the poor thing still a little breathless from the fight as he smirks weakly. "Didn't you keep telling me to believe in him?"

The girl snickering as she places her hand over the surgeon's grazed cheek, her thumb pressed gently to his lips. "Hey, don't make it so obvious I have faith in them, they'll never let me live it down."

Although upon moving her thumb, she immediately finds herself pressing her lips to the man's instead, she has wasted too much time as it is.

Not that he seems to mind at least, though he makes sure to dominate the kiss somewhat, drawing a smirk to Kyo's lips as they meld perfectly with his, her hand still caressing his cheek.

This moment is perfect, short-lived but so sweet.

All that time she had spent with him and it took this much for her to admit to herself how she feels about the man; he had to get his ass kicked near to death and arm cut off for her to admit to herself that she cares deeply for him? That she might even love him?

She breaks the liplock with a content smile when she feels the surgeon getting a little breathless, he's still wounded after all, she decides that she should really go easy on him.

"Dah vinner...Dah vinner..."

Her brow quirking as she follows the odd voice with her eyes, mainly just trying to hide the slight blush on her pale face from Law. "Is that guy okay?"

"The winner is...! The winner is...Lucy!!"

"Lucy?" She had thought she heard people calling Luffy by the wrong name earlier but she was far too wrapped up in her tasks to take much notice of it but there's no denying it now, the announcer definitely called him Lucy just then.

"It was the name he used in the Colosseum." Law explains calmly.

"Oh, of course."
