When He Plays Teacher.
The redhead has been stuck on the same sentence for 5 minutes straight, the words and format all make perfect sense yet she still finds herself rereading the same paragraph over and over.
Her eyes falling shut as she huffs to herself before she begins scanning the words again with her brown orbs, a slight change in the air suddenly alerting her before she feels the certain presence behind her, a small smile spreading across her lips when she notices the shadow on her page.
You're in my light, Trafalgar.
Her focus once again fixing on the book, the paragraph seemingly sinking in a lot better now. She notices Law's tattooed hands sitting on either side of the chair that she's lounging on, his chin resting on top of her head and his eyes skimming the page languidly.
"What are you reading?"
Of course, she hasn't gone to bother him in a good two hours so he must be wondering what else has caught her interest, she isn't sure if it's a possessive streak or if he is genuinely just a curious person.
Whatever the case, it's a pretty cute tendency he has, checking up on her like this.
"One of your medical books." She finally answers once she had finished reading the paragraph she was on, a faint smile on her lips as her free hand reaches up to the surgeon's face, her fingers gently brushing against his cheek and sideburn. "According to this; wearing a thong could lead to infection because the string moves when you walk and rubs the contents from your, for lack of a better word, asshole into your vag--"
"Why are you reading this, Kyo-ya?" The slight discomfort in his voice doesn't go amiss either, the redhead only barely managing suppress a snicker at his expense as she shrugs her shoulders.
"At first it was just a way to pass time but I've found that learning about the different types and causes of infection can be very interesting."
"Mhm, this one is false though." The raven calmly voices as he points to a 'fact' about an infection that she had never even heard of on the page. "You can't catch this through urine."
"Oh? You'll put the author of this book to shame, Trafalgar." The surgeon merely hums in response to her comment, a subtle smirk playing on his lips as he presses a kiss to the back of her head.
"This one here is wrong also."
"Hm? How so?"
