"Aurora's birthday?" Yeper asked.

I had told Yeper about how I wanted to get something for Aurora for her birthday.

She smiled. "Don't worry about it. Aurora is a forgiving pokemon. If you somehow can't get her ANYTHING, then she probably wont' mind too much if you just tell her why. She may even laugh."

I shook my head. "No! What if she hates me for it? How would I recover from stooping so low?"

Yeper got surprised, but then began to laugh. I glared at her as she did so, and she eventually calmed down.

"'Sorry." She told me. "But... you're just so funny. You really think she will leave you for not getting her some senseless thing?"

I nodded slightly.

"She's not like that, and you know it." Yeper stated. "She would forgive you for sure."

I looked down. Was I really going overboard with how she will treat me?

I looked at Yeper. "Ok. Well, I still want to get her something. And I need your help, as Constan would definitely be unreliable, and mom would pretty much call me adorable and tell me to like, 'solve it myself.' kind of thing."

Yeper scratched her head. "Well, I am glad you came to me, but... I honestly don't know what Aurora likes."

My ears drooped.

"But I can figure it out!" She quickly said.

"How?" I questioned.

"I can go to her house for something like a playdate, and secretly find out what she likes. Or, maybe ask Eveline!"

Just then my mom opened the door, and walked into the room. "Yeper, I told you to call Tendo for lunch. What are you two doing?"

We both smiled innocently. "Nothing!" We said in unison.

My mom smiled back and began walking toward the dining room. "Ok. Well lunch is ready if you two are hungry."

She then walked out of site.

Yeper turned to me. "We'll discuss this after lunch. I am hungry as a snorlax before dinner!"
