The next morning, nothing special happened.

We repeated our daily routine, and had frozen barley cake slices for breakfast. It was Yeper's choice for breakfast that morning, that's why we had frozen barley cake instead of heated barley cake.

Anyway, I had to go to school, since it was Monday. I got ready and our mom walked all of us to school, but since we were all in different grades, we went to different buildings.

There was a building for each grade, but don't let that fool you into thinking this place was big. It wasn't.

Each building was smaller than our house, maybe even smaller than half of our house. Not too many students came here, so they didn't need the buildings to be any bigger.

So my mom hugged us all, and we parted ways.

I went to building B, since I was a junior. My brother went to building D because he was a middle-schooler still. And my sister went to building E; one grade lower than my brother.

Only during recess could we all be with each other. But recess only happened every hour. Including lunch time.

We each went to pour respective buildings, and went about our day.

One thing notable happened during the final recess however...

I was walking outside, you know, just perusing the grounds, when my sister came running up to me.

"Yeper?" I asked. "What is it?"

She was out of breath, having run across the campus, but when she did regain her energy she said to me, "I found someone!"

I might have appeared a little horrified and shocked at once when she said that. I thought she meant she found someone to be her 'you know what'. I could not believe it. She was still very young. But I guess everyone has their time...

"She says she's from out of town!" Yeper informed me.

That comment downright freaked me out. Yeper wasn't the kind of person to go that way. I hd no idea...

"She's Aurora's cousin!"

Now that crossed the line there. Yeper may be young, she may be falling for those of the same gender, but she can't go for someone related to Aurora! That's just too weird!

"We are friends now! She is coming right now!"

Then I realized what she meant. My face turned scarlet red for thinking all those things. I was assuming. Geez, Yeper wouldn't do that yet! She's too young. I was relieved that I wasn't right.

I looked past Yeper after I regained my composure, and sure enough an eevee was running this way. I guess everyone related to Aurora was an eeveelution of some kind...

She arrived next to Yeper and gasped for air. I guess they were both from the same part of school.

She eventually caught her breath and looked up at me. "Hi! My name is Eveline! I am Aurora's cousin! I am staying here for a few days! I hope we can be friends!"

It was then that I had another revelation: Eveline and Yeper would become friends. They would do everything together. But Eveline would care for her cousin, Aurora. Which meant if Aurora became upset or hurt emotionally, then Eveline would do whatever it took to find whoever was responsible. Which meant, that if I hurt Aurora's feelings, then Eveline would come after me.

And my sister might not care for me anymore.
