Fanmade Regional Forms Part 2

Considering how few regional forms we actually got in Scarlet & Violet, being the only regional forms were Tauros and Wooper, I went and scoured the internet searching for plausible fanmade regional forms that I firmly like and can most definitely see Pokemon creating in the future.

So here's the long awaited fanmade regional forms Part 2

1. Stufful & Bewear

Stufful & Bewear already look like plushies, in fact, i was insanely surprised when i found out Stufful & Bewear are fighting types. In fact, despite playing both Moon & Ultra Moon, I didn't know they were fighting types until Sword & Shield. This fanmade regional form of these two take on a Ghost Fighting Haunted plushie inspiration which is what I firmly believe Pokemon would make their regional form look like. In Bewear's Pokedex entry, they're known for hugging people so tightly that they accidentally kill their victims! I believe that a regional form for Bewear would come from how humans would actively hunt & kill Bewear due to how dangerous they are JUST LIKE Hisuian Zorua of whom were actively Hunted and their regional form came from their reanimated Corpse. So, a Haunted plushie Ghost-Fighting type regional form seems very fitting for the dangerous Bewear family. Plus... I just want more Haunted plushie Pokemon like Mimickyu and Banette.

2. Magcargo

There's a theme when it comes to a great chunk of the already existing regional forms and that'd be regional forms that came to be due to pollution. Galarian Weezing is a result of air pollution due to factories, Galarian Corsola is a result of ocean pollution and coral bleaching while Alolan Grimer & Muk are a result of pollution in general. This fanmade regional Magcargo further delves into the heavy pollution issue that plagues the Pokemon universe AND I'm actually very surprised this regional Magcargo didn't debut in the Alola Region considering Magcargo is a lava Pokemon and Alola has an entire park made of Volcanoes. Instead of being a Poison Steel type like in the picture, I'd make regional Magcargo a Ground Poison type. Ground because Magcargo looks like it's made of sand or dirt and Poison due to the pollution and the trash it carries on its body. Yeah, this isn't a nice Pokemon to look at, and that's the point, but I'm next to certain Pokemon would make a trash related Regional form in the future.

3. Sandygast & Palosand

I've surprisingly found MANY plausible regional forms for Sandygast & Palosand and two fanarts stood out in particular and both deals with water pollution. This regional form of Sandygast & Palosand deals with Water Pollution as beaches in particular are breeding grounds for garbage galore since so many people frequent them and they tend to rarely care for properly disposing of their trash. Their typing could be Poison Ghost or Grass Ghost. No matter what, I feel these two should keep their ghost typing due to how theyre possessed sandcastles. While I'm not entirely sure Pokemon would give these two a pollution related Regional form, I won't deny its inspiration staring them right in the face.

4. Another Sandygast & Palosand

Yup, as mentioned above, I found another regional form for Sandygast & Palosand that borderline deals with pollution. More I feel this regional form deals with how construction and architecture often steals the environment away from animals in order to expand. Either way you look at it, it's a strong message to conserve the environment. This regional form has Sandygast and Palosand taking on new appearances similar to concrete & architecture aka they came to be when humans were constructing new buildings. Whether this is a regional form or a convergent species as introduced in Scarlet & Violet, I feel Pokemon would in fact do this.

5. Bergmite & Avalugg

We've already seen a regional form for Avalugg, but what if we got another? This fanmade regional form for Avalugg & Bergmite follows the same message of expansion as introduced in the entry above. Bergmite looks like a traffic cone while Avalugg looks like a HUGE chunk of missing road. I feel that a regional form for these two in this form is VERY plausible as in Pokemon Colosseum, it takes place in the Orre Region. In the Orre Region, it's such a desolate wasteland that's so overwhelmed with human activity that NO wild Pokemon occupy this region. If there's so little room for Pokemon to call home that there straight up ISNT any wild Pokemon, that's scary to realize!!! Therefore, if another region in the future struggles to have habitats available for Pokemon, the Pokemon in question would have to adapt to human society and this is exactly why I feel a regional Avalugg would look like a road.

6. Venipede

This fanmade regional form is of a Venipede that traded out its magenta shell with purple markings to instead have a red shell with white markings. It is no secret that there's some Pokemon that look like Pokeballs that's that's due to evolution. The OG Pokeball was designed after Electrode in which it's actually confirmed that Foongus and Amoungus look like Pokeballs as they actively mimic Electrode due to Electrode being a menace out in the wild and you know, they're trying to increase their chances of survival. I feel that this regional form of Venipede would be the same exact case. Venipede, although their evolutions are menaces in their own right, it is confirmed in Venipede's Pokedex entry that unless Venipede are in large groups then Pokemon don't see them as a threat and they'll be Hunted down. A solution to this would be for Venipede to change its appearance to look like Electrode and to adopt the Electric typing, now a Bug Electric type rather than Bug Poison.

7. Sinistea & Polteageist

I've found quite a few regional forms for Sinistea but this one in particular took my interest. Instead of tea, Sinistea and Poltergeist took on the forms of a Coffee Mug & Coffee Decanter/pitcher. Sinistea & Polteageist debuting in Galar, the region based on the United Kingdom, makes perfect sense since they're known for their heavy love of tea. Sinistea taking on a Coffee appearance makes it so they'd have an easier time fitting in in just about any other region out there. I won't deny, it looks a bit corny, but I kind of like it more than I probably should.

8. Spinarak & Ariados

Spinarak & Ariados haven't made appearances in the Pokemon series in a long time but I feel that they're almost guaranteed to get a regional form ESPECIALLY if Pokemon makes another United States region in which we all know is next to guaranteed to happen. This regional form has Spinarak and Ariados taking on appearances similar to that of a black widow spider. Black Widow Spiders are strictly found in the United States & are poisonous at that. Ariados' new typing should be Dark Poison type, much like Drapion, as Spiders technically aren't bugs but instead arachnids so their bug typing should be abandoned. Does this regional form need to happen? No, but it'd be a great way to breathe life back into an otherwise forgotten duo of Pokemon.

9. Trevenant

This fanmade regional form for Trevenant has Trevenant taking on an almost dead or diseased appearance as it's wood exterior is molding away and it's overtaken by mushrooms. Paras and Parasect are two Pokemom in the Pokemon universe that are canonically diseased as their bodies are overtaken by parasitic mushrooms. What if Trevenant became affected by the same parasitic mushrooms? I love this idea right here a little too much! It's new typing would be Ghost-Poison type OR it'd remain a Ghost Grass type.

10. Krabby & Kingler

Low key kind of surprised Krabby or Kingler don't have a regional form as of yet. This family is based on the red crab BUT their Gigantamax forms make Kingler take Inspirations off of the Spider Crab. What if the Krabby family has a regional form where they look like Spider Crabs? That's literally all I have to say for this, but I've always loved Gigantamax Kingler for the sake that it looks like a spider crab.

Which regional form is your favorite? Anything you really want to see?
