Dear Princess Zelda,

I got beat up by a horse today.

The old man who'd given me previous directions told me of a rumor he'd heard.

He told me the royal family's white horse had been seen nearby.

Of course, he only told me this when I showed him my photos and he recognized one.

He said I'd find that area close to where the white horse was.

Apparently white horses are rare in Hyrule.

I tried everything to mount that horse.

She just kept running away.

She also kicked me in the face and stomach a couple of times.

Even when I did mount her, she threw me off.

After awhile I became frustrated and sat underneath a tree to collect myself.

I needed to regain my energy, so I began eating an apple.

That's when she noticed me.

I decided to toss an apple her way.

I figured she'd enjoy it.

Then she did something that surprised me.

The white horse approached me!

If I'd known all I had to do was offer her an apple, I'd have done that hours ago.

I fed her a couple more apples and soon, she let me ride her!

She's actually a very sweet horse.

I think she'll make a good companion.

As I write to you, we are laying underneath the tree watching the sunset.

I see the destination of the photo in the distance.

I'll register the horse at the stable tomorrow.

I'll have to come up with a name.
