Dear Princess Zelda,

I spent a few days in Hateno.

According to other traveler's maps, I am closest to Zora's Domain.

They all say the road to the domain is flooded with monsters, so I've been preparing here in Hateno.

I've introduced myself to my neighbors and chief of the village.

I was already invited to a town meeting.

I had to decline, unfortunately, since I must get on the road as soon as possible.

I saved a few sheep from a camp of monsters.

As I returned them back to their owner and the rest of their flock, the girl who was watching them gave me a bunch of milk as a reward.

I think she briefly flirted with me, but I cannot be sure.

I don't have time for that sort of thing, anyway.

It's been nice staying in the village, though.

I've been able to take regular baths.

That's always a good thing.
