Entry Twenty Two

Dear Princess Zelda,

I stuck around the domain for awhile to catch up on shrines and to just help the people.

Today, Sidon came with me up to Shatterback Point.

A blood moon had come around and the Lynel there was reborn.

A Zora woman had asked for a picture of one to keep people away from Shatterback, but when I said I was going, Sidon insisted on accompanying me.

So clearly, her plan had already failed.

I fought the Lynel alongside Sidon, since he insisted on helping.

I kept any and all shock arrows away from him, drawing the monster's attention whenever it pulled out its bow.

It was so easy to kill the Lynel with Sidon's help!

Once the monster was dead, I realized I forgot to take a picture of it!

Sidon laughed at me, and brought me to the edge of Shatterback's cliff.

I was fairly certain he was going to push me off himself.

He told me to dive after him and jumped off the cliff.

As an instinct, I jumped after him.

We fell for a long time and then hit the water.

Sidon couldn't stop laughing and I quickly swam back to shore, confused as to how I survived.

Sidon gave me jazz hands and insisted it was magic.

We laughed it off and went back to the domain and handed the Zora woman a crude drawing of the Lynel.

When she didn't accept it (I honestly wouldn't have either), Sidon ruffled my hair and told me that I can try again after the next blood moon.

I spent the rest of the day catching frogs while Sidon laughed at every failure.

I gave a Zora child the frogs I spent the rest of the day catching and he had the nerve to ask why I was covered in mud.

I nearly clocked him.

Nearly.

I ate dinner with Sidon and King Dorephan again, but tonight Muzu accompanied us.

He offered stories about Mipha, and I was grateful for them.

I still couldn't remember much about her, so I enjoyed these stories.

Zora's Domain has waterbeds in their hotel.

They're bad for journaling.
