Part 36: Journey Out Pt.2
Marco's POV
It felt like years since I've arrived, and now I'm battling what looks like a giant Seaking, that's twice as large as the ones I used to see. It kept whipping its tail at me, and I'm trying my best to dodge it, using my powers to let it go through me is worthless. It kept batting its tail and throwing me around like a ragdoll!
Another cough leaves my lips, as a trail of blood made its way to my chin. I wiped it off, true, I wanna kill this bastard, but I need to see Luna first..just imagining her broken state broke my heart knowing she wanted my comfort.
I quickly transform into a phoenix and flew up, away from the damn beast. As I went through several levels, I felt my body became heavier and heavier but it won't stop me from reaching my destination.
Normal POV
Marco made his way through several levels, but not knowing to him, a pair of bloodlust red orbs were staring at him with murderous aura running around its form.
Right now, Luna was standing beside her mother, Gaia, the goddess of Mother Nature and looking down at Marco, who's fighting his way out. All Luna wanted to do is help him get out, but knowing her father's ability, she'll be dead within seconds.
Gaia, who looked down at her daughter's depressed state felt guilt washed upon her. She never wanted her children to feel the pain she used to felt, all she wanted to do is re-wind time for when Luna wasn't caught, or when she gave in to Arachne's pleads.
Speaking of Arachne, the spider-woman herself was tortured until she commanded each one of her children to commit suicide. Gaia was pleased by Arachne's actions, but it still won't help her feel better when every living things started to die, even with her help.
If only she can pull Marco out of the situation, but lost in her thoughts she snapped back when she heard the another gate opened. She looked down to see the Gate of Hell was forcibly opened, and a blur of red flew down towards the blue phoenix's figure.
All she wanted to do is get her beloved daughter out, but she knew full well she can't pass through Hell. She watched will full worries about her daughter's actions, her plan for seeing Marco's worthiness had failed. She shouldn't have known better that Luna was like her clone, she would do anything to be with her beloved ones..
Luna's POV
I couldn't care less about what will happen next, I just wanted to be beside Marco. I could see his figure, he was closing in, and he finally noticed my presence.
I transformed into a phoenix and quickly flew down, it felt like eternity that I lost Marco by a damn marine. I could feel life started to form within me, hope started to bubbled in me. His eyes turned the same azure like Ayami when she's focused on her prey.
But those azure orbs turned onyx when it met with my red ones. His smile shines my day, as we close in, we circled around each other before engulfing in a embrace.
His scent, how he smell like burnt cinnamon filled my nostrils, I missed him so much, but I knew that when we got out, father would be pissed. I don't mind though, its better than Marco staying in here anyway..
Our journey on getting out hadn't finish, no, we need to face Hades and father first no matter what..
