I don't really remember what due the project would be, or if I even mentioned it.

But let's say it's two weeks and forget what I actually wrote–

I'm rushing and too lazy to recheck, sorry.

"Heard Jaemin came by, how did that work out?" Jeno snaps his head up to look at the said boy in front of him, glaring he rubs the paper between his fingertips.

"How did you know?" Lowering his voice, a warning.

Haechan rolls his eyes, "Jaemin couldn't stop smiling, I asked him why and apparently you guys exchanged numbers now?" Asking for validation.

Getting a curt nod from the raven haired boy, Haechan's lips twitch for a moment. "When will you guys have your first date?"

Jeno practically chokes on his spit, in a fit of cough as the tanned male snickers mischievously, knowing what button he had pushed.

And from the look Haechan's face sported, there's no doubt he's very proud of his senses either.

However, he's off on one certain part.

"There will never be a date or anywhere close to that." Jeno emphasizes his words, hard and strict as he manages to clear his throat.

Haechan does nothing but raises a brow at him, soon replying with, "is that so?" Tone challenging.

Jeno hums, firm and sure of himself. Still, Haechan begs to differ. However, he doesn't comment anything further about it and just lets Jeno off.

This time at least, because he knows Jeno can be in denial sometimes.

"Got your text." Jaemin smiles at him once he sits down on the opposite side of the table, right across from Jeno.

"Honestly, I didn't expect you to contact me anytime soon and had probably ran off to find someone else." He shares his thoughts with no hesitation.

The way Jaemin had worded it out felt a little weird for Jeno, or maybe he's just overthinking it.

Plus, the tone laced in his voice speaks nothing but the truth. That has Jeno grimacing in both ways.

Scrunching his face, he purses his lips and forms a tight smile. "A deal is a deal," he says. "Beside, this project is due in two weeks, like you said, we don't have much time."

"Correction, you don't have much time. But I do," a teasing smirk etches on Jaemin's handsome face.

"Don't you have a job?" Jeno rolls his eyes in annoyance, trying to tolerate with Jaemin's teasing yet nonchalant behavior.

Behind it though, there's so much chaos and reckless things. Just like his friends.

"Trust me pretty boy, you're not getting in the way of anything in my life except for my heart if that's what you're worried about." Jaemin replies, flirty as usual.

"I'm not worried." Jeno denies, puffing out a breath through his nose.

"About which one, darl?" Jaemin inches closer with a mischievous glint in his dark eyes.

Jeno instinctively leans back on his chair, looking away and eyeing one of the waiters walking around handing out the orders for the customers.

He had already ordered them apple juice and some cookies in advanced. Informing Jaemin beforehand and even said they could order something else if Jaemin doesn't like it.

But luckily the elder boy does, already taking a cookie off the pile and takes a bit delicious bite, humming happily at the sweet taste.

"Shut up," he mutters on his seat, catching a glimpse of Jaemin's smirk right off the bat. "Anyways, can we start today?" Clearing his throat as he changes the subject.

Jaemin swallows his food and nods, "I mean, if you want. I already sorted out my schedule when you messaged me last night," he responds.

Watching him take another bite, Jeno almost forgets that they're sharing the plate of cookies. But that's not important on his mind right now, he can let Jaemin have them all to himself.

"You already know the themes right?"

"Of course, the main thing is you make a mini album of your masterpieces." Jaemin answers. "Pretty easy, all you have to do is follow my lead."

"That's unfortunate." He hears Jeno grumble, playing with the straw as his eyes focuses on it.

There's this sudden thought in Jaemin's mind, wanting to take a picture of Jeno right then and there without the latter knowing.

In other words, just a random stolen picture of the raven haired boy.

It might be weird for others' point of view, but to Jaemin, he'd like to call it something else. Might even pull out the "I'm a photographer" card just to save himself.

Besides, who wouldn't take a picture of a pretty boy right in front of them, c'mon at least you've taken one of your crush at one point.

Which is exactly Jaemin's situation.

However, he'll sadly throw away that idea for now. He doesn't want to push Jeno away unintentionally by pressing the wrong buttons.

Not like he's never done it before, but this is different.

The thought of Jeno could literally leave and find someone else for help, if not, get another idea without needing Jaemin by his side; threatens the latter.

"Were you listening?" Jaemin blinks furiously, snapping out of his daze as he looks up to meet Jeno's intense gaze.

"Uh, sorry what was that?" Sheepishly smiling, half eaten cookie between his fingertips while he slowly continues to chew.

Jeno clicks his tongue, a tad bit annoyed but shrugs it off anyway. "I asked if we can use my phone for now, practice I guess." He repeats nonetheless for Jaemin to hear.

Listening carefully this time, the pink haired boy nodded with a sweet smile sporting his face. "Of course, we don't necessarily need a professional and high quality camera, it's all just skill."

"I don't have any photography skills." Jeno mumbles, getting insecure of himself and this project.

"That's why we can start off simple," Jaemin chirps without missing a beat. "Don't get scared now, pretty boy. I'm sure you'll do great."

Not getting anything from him other than a small nod, Jaemin ponders in thought for a quick second before taking Jeno's phone that was on the table.

Seeing one of his belongings getting rudely taken away, Jeno was about to snap at him and reach for his phone but was stopped when Jaemin calmly hands it back to him.

Furrowing his eyebrows, he looks at Jaemin confusingly after he sees his camera app has been opened. "Huh?"

"Try taking some pictures of the food, don't worry about my judgement. I'll see what you can do first before giving ideas. I'm here to help after all."

He hesitates for a second, but seeing Jaemin's genuine and kind smile, he slowly brushes off the weight on his shoulders and adjusts his phone to find the right angle.
