"Your friend sure is feisty, Yang." Jaemin chuckles as he takes another mouthful of his slice of pizza.

After the little incident yesterday afternoon, Yangyang came over the tattoo studio as soon as his last class ended and asked if Jaemin wanted to come out and eat with him, his treat of course.

And here they are in a well known delicious pizza place, sitting by the window as their area wasn't too crowded since they weren't near the entrance.

Yangyang from across the table merely smiles, sipping on his blue lemonade before sighing. "Sorry about him, again."

Pausing on chewing his food, Jaemin looks up and snorts. "Dude, I told you. It's actually not a problem," he says, reassuring him.

He then swallows down his bite and says, "besides, I find it cute, honestly." Making Yangyang choke on his drink.

Pulling away as he tries to stop himself from coughing, he stares at the pink haired boy with wide eyes and croaks.

"You like him?" Almost shrieking, but he keeps his voice down anyway.

Shrugging his shoulders, Jaemin bites half of the crust and replies, "is it too soon? I mean, not gonna lie. He's a pretty boy."

"That's cute but weird at the same time hearing you say that about my best friend." Yangyang quips with a scrunch of his nose.

"Oh God, are you following 'bro code' now?" Jaemin exaggerates, still chewing on the crust he bit off earlier in his mouth.

"Nah, I mean, I don't really go with some of them because they're high-key ridiculous–" Yangyang pauses, snickering when Jaemin nods in agreement.

"But I'm just saying it's like the first time someone I know talks about Jeno like that."

Raising a brow, Jaemin lowers the last bite – the crust – he was holding between his fingers. "Why? Does he not get compliments a lot?"

"What? No! I mean– he does, but you're like the first guy I know and is friends with that likes him in that way– that is, if you're being serious..." Yangyang trails off at the end.

Noticing the look he was receiving, Jaemin rolls his eyes. "Of course I'm being serious," he mutters back and quickly finishes his probably third slice of pizza.

Dusting the crumbs off his fingers by brushing his hands together, Jaemin then continues on. "Sure, it might be sus and a little ridiculous–"

"Oh totally, dude." Yangyang interjects with a teasing smirk.

Ignoring him, Jaemin then says, "but I can't lie, I do find some type of feeling when I see him. Besides being cute and pretty, I like his vibe."

"You like him being snarky and strict?" Yangyang furrowed his eyebrows, saying it almost amusingly.

"He sure is something," the tattoo artist gives a little grin as he takes a gulp of his drink.

"Dang, bro. You're like– acting as if you've known each other for a long time." Yangyang shakes his head in silly.

Jaemin drawls a hum, pulling away from the thin straw and smacks his lips together. "Trust me, I think Jeno said that in the bus too, but I don't know."

Snickering, Yangyang grabs a tissue from the tissue box on their table as Jaemin then asks, "why is he like that, though?"

Looking up, he meets Jaemin's curious gaze. "No offense, I know I said he's cute when he's like that. But, is there any reason for it?" He quickly adds on.

Pursing his lips, Yangyang ponders in thought for a moment before saying, "well– he did go to a semi strict elementary school. But when we met him, he's always been like that."

"Ahh, so it's sort of normal now?" Jaemin tilts his head to the side.

Despite nodding off, Yangyang's face shows confusion as well. "I don't know if it's a good thing or not."

"Although, it's pretty nice to have atleast one sane person in the group..." Biting the inside of his cheek, "we want him to have fun too!"

"What do you mean, have fun?" Jaemin suddenly emphasizes. "Like, does he not have fun with you guys?" Getting slightly confused of Yangyang's words.

The latter laughs a little and waves him off, "of course he does– sometimes, when we're not doing things so recklessly that he doesn't like."

"Wait, I thought you were over exaggerating earlier..." Jaemin couldn't hide the shock in him as he stares at his friend.

Yangyang rolls his eyes, "well you thought wrong, because when I say Jeno is snarky and strict. He's snarky and strict, my friend."

"So...?"

"He doesn't join group hangouts unless it's not something stupid, I kid you not he refers this as a group study or something." Yangyang inches closer, hand gestures all over the place.

"So what? He's a nerd then...?" Huffing at the tattoo artist's words, he snatches Jaemin's free cupcake and takes a bite.

"He's not a– okay, maybe he is," Yangyang abruptly says before adding, "but he's more likely to be... a "Goody-two-shoes'." Whispering the idiom as if it's a secret.

Ironic, because it's obviously not.

For some odd reason, Jaemin's face lights up as Yangyang gives him a weird look, totally not expecting that.

"Dude, don't tell me you're into that shit? He's not that innocent you know, Haechan already did enough damage and was the first one to break it." He grimaces.

The pink haired boy only chuckles in amusement, "then tell him he can stop, it's my turn." He states.

Leaning back to his chair, Yangyang kicks his shin from under the table. "Are you thinking of dating him or dicking him down? Because you seem horny as hell to me."

Scoffing, Jaemin continues to rub his shin while he remarks. "Dating him, calm down, dude."

"Can you blame me? You sound like you want to break his last bit of innocence." Yangyang comments, sending a glare at him.

Jaemin merely grins, "in a way– yeah– ow!" He silently yelps.

"Not cool, Jaem." The glare getting more and more harsh and intimidating.

The said boy regains his composure and straightens his posture, "I didn't mean it like that and sound like a perv, but what I'm saying is..."

"I want him to go out there and be free, experience the shit we go through but still have fun."

Once he says that, Yangyang's glare disappears. His face now softening as he silently contemplates, after a while, he smiles at Jaemin.

He nods, "sounds like a plan. I'll help you court him." Followed by a wink, to which Jaemin laughs at.
