"Do you even know what you are talking right now? Kartik gathered courage to speak controlling his tears. "Mujhe laga you were ready to listen to me. Phir ye achanak se kya hogaya? Why are you saying all these things?" Kartik asked in a very soft voice. "Are you serious?" Sara started laughing. "Sort out what? Kuch baaki tha kya hamare beech main jo baat karti tumse. Aur tumhe kya laga ye Saab filmy stories sunke main jo bhi hua Saab kuch bhool jaungi? Ye koi Bollywood film nahi chalraha hai kartik jaha ek hero apne pyaar ko wapaas paane ke liye uski best friend ke saath miljata hai. It's a god damn real life." Sara said trying to act unaffected with kartik's tears. "Can you at least not laugh? This is not funny Sara. Mujhe saach main samajh nahi araha hai tu kya bolrahi hai" kartik said in a soft trembling voice.
"Haasu nahi toh aur kya karu. And I don't care whom you are here for. The only thing I care about and I know is you are dating my best friend and the only relation we have with each other is because of saisha nothing more or less than that" Sara said it in a breathe. Kartik's eyes were all red not just because he was broken but also because of anger. He was trying to make her understand same thing time and again but she was too stubborn to even listen to him. "I don't love her damn it. Pyaar nahi karta Hu usse. Tujhse karta hu. I love you. Haan hai ye Saab filmy but please for god sake trust me. I swear on my family, my career, myself, my everything, I'm not lying." Kartik raised his voice after trying his best to control himself.
Sak: "I don't care kartik. I don't love you"
Ka: "Matt bol please. I cannot take this"
Sak: "But you have to. You and saisha are together"
Ka: "I'm not with her. I don't love her neither does she loves me"
Sak; "I hate you, and that is what matters"
Ka: "It's hurting. Please stop saying this time and again. Theek hai saisha ke saamne hi baat karte hai na tujhe bhi pata chaljayega what I'm trying to say" he went towards the door.
Sara jumped out of the bed and stood infront of the door. "Nahi jarurat nahi hai. Maine keh diya na tum aur saisha saath main ho toh bass baat khatam" sara stopped him from going out. "Biwiyon ke jaise haak jatana bandh karr aur let me clear everything out" he tried getting his hand on the lock but Sara was not letting him to go out as she knew both kartik's and saisha's feeling towards each other.
There was kartik who doesn't loves saisha and sees her as a friend and there was saisha who had fallen in love with kartik. And in between there was sara who loves her best friend with all her heart and also is still stuck with her ex i.e kartik. Sara decided not to confess her feelings to kartik instead make kartik fall for saisha. She didn't tell anything about kartik and her past to saisha. Sara was ready to sacrifice her love for her best friend.
"Pyaar karte ho na mujhse?" Sara asked kartik to divert his mind. "Haan bhaut" kartik said without thinking twice. "Phir promise karo" sara said forwarding her hand to kartik. Kartik held Sara's hand and pulled her for a hug. "Promise Kya meri jaan le le" he was really happy. Sara closed her eyes and hugged him back feeling each and every inch of his body. She knew this was the last hug they'll ever share. Kartik felt whole universe in between his arms. "Marry saisha" Sara said breaking the silence in the room. "Kya" kartik immediately broke the hug. "Mujhe Bhool jao aur saisha se shaadi karlo" sara said holding kartik's hands. "Pagal hai Kya? Yese kaise kisi se bhi shaadi karlo." He pulled his hands. "Kartik trust me woh mujhse bhaut acchi hai. Mujhse das guna jyada sundar hai. Just marry her please" Sara tried convincing him. "Are you out of your mind? Hoss main toh hai? Kya bolrahi hai tu" kartik held Sara's arm. "I know what I am saying. Please maan ja. She is ten times better than me and she will keep you happy unlike me" Sara said with puppy eyes. "Hogi woh 10 times better but she is not you. And for me you are the most beautiful woman to exist in this fucking world. Ek minute kisne kaha you don't make me happy? I'm happiest around you. Just your presence is enough to make my day. Seeing you smile makes my heart full. You mean world to me Sara." Kartik cupped her face. Sara didn't knew what say or what to react so she just stood there without saying a word. Kartik was expecting some reaction from Sara but she was too numb to react. Kartik started moving towards the door. Sara was still standing there. He was just about to unlock the door when Sara screamed from behind, "Saisha pyaar karti hai tumse." Kartik's whole body got frozen hearing this. He turned to Sara and started taking small steps towards her.
"You're lying. Haan tu jhuth bolrahi hai to get rid of me" kartik was hoping for it to be a lie. "No I'm not. I was about to tell everything about you but she confessed her love for you before that. Kartik she really loves you. And I'm sure you will fall for her someday. Please don't leave her, woh tut jayegi" Sara said the truth to kartik.
"Now I get it. This why you were behaving like this. This is why you were trying to show how much you hate me. Listen, I know how much you love her and you can do anything for her. I'm not going to stop you from doing anything for her but I DON'T LOVE HER. You keep sacrificing everything for others par main itna mahan nahi jo apne pyaar ko choddu because her best friend loves me. I said I'll never hurt anyone related to you but in this situation I'm ready to burn this whole fucking world just to be with you." Kartik was sweating and his face was all red due to anger.
"Kartik woh marr jayegi. She has just started healing from last relationship's trauma please accept her." All Sara could do was request kartik. "Bolana nahi. Sara try to understand, I don't love her, I LOVE YOU aur ye baat tujhe bhaut acche se pata hai. Nahi reh sakta main tere bina and you yourself are asking me to be with someone else. I don't want any further discussion on this topic. Just for you, main saisha se baat nahi karunga but uske saath rhena, shaadi karna? Marr jaunga parr nahi karunga." Kartik started walking out.
"Marr jaoge, par marne toh nahi doge na?" saying this she stood up in the edge of the widow. Kartik turned around hearing this. "Kya karr rahi hai? Pagal hogayi hai kya? Get down, ghir jayegi" kartik was panicking.
Sak: "Baat manlo warna saach main kud jaungi"
Ka: "Don't be stupid Sara. Neeche utar phir baat karenge"
Sak: "Nahi mujhe koi baat nhi karni. Promise me you won't leave saisha phir neeche aajaungi"
Ka: "Saisha, saisha, saisha!! Just stop it. Nahi karta yarr main usse pyarr!!"
Sak: "Fine then" she kept her one feet out of the window.
Ka: "Fine. I'll do it" kartik screamed
Sara was about to come down but she lost her balance. Kartik quickly jumped towards her and saved her from falling. Kartik's heart was beating faster than a bullet train thinking about what if he was able to save her. He hugged her very tightly and Sara didn't try to push him back instead hugged him back. "Don't worry main theek hu"Sara said in a very low voice. "I'm doing this just for you. I am ready to live far from you but not without you." Kartik spoke in a barely audible voice. "You're doing it, that's enough" Sara moved a little bit indicating to break the hug. But kartik was not ready to leave her at all.
"Yaad rakhna sara, bina pyaar ke shaadi shaadi nahi samjhota hota hai. You are and will always be my love. Saisha kabhi bhi mere dil me woh jagah nahi bana payegi and I'm not responsible if she feels bad about this fact." Kartik still had hopes that Sara will understand him but she didn't speak anything. "Ek baar bolde you still love me, I still affect you phir tu jo bolegi chup chap karlunga" kartik tighten his arms around her. "No kartik, I don't." Sara said trying to control her tears. She didn't wanted to give him any hopes so she lied to him.
Kartik broke the hug and held Sara by her arms. "Don't play around. I'm just asking you to say what you feel for me, waise bhi koi farak nahi padhega kyu ki tu toh wahi karegi na jo tujhe karna hai. At least abhi toh saach bolde" it almost felt like kartik was begging. "Nahi karti" she again said the same thing.
"So you don't love me? I don't affect you anymore?" He left her arms and took a step back. Then he started moving towards her and Sara started taking her steps back, she stumbled on the bed's edge. She stopped moving back but kartik was taking his step towards her. He gently pushed her on the bed then got on top of her. Sara's heart started pumping faster than ever and she felt butterflies in her stomach. Sara was too stunned to attempt to stop him from what he was doing.He started roaming his hand on her face and her neck. That touch was definitely not a innocent one. "Farak padha?" Kartik whispered in a husky voice. "Nahi" Sara was trying her best to control her emotion. He smirked and sensually started touching Sara's bare waist. Sara closed her eyes feeling his touch. Kartik smiled looking at Sara's reaction.
"You should have accepted your love for me, now just wait and watch what I'll do" he leaned towards her ear and kissed her cheeks before standing. Sara held his hand and stopped him. "Kuch bhi yesa waisa matt karna warna-" sara warned him. "Warna kya? You'll again blackmail me with your life because you know how precious you are for me? Not happening. Ye matt sochna ki main ye Saab isliye karr rha hu kyuki tune dhamki di. I'm doing all this to get you back. Aur tune kuch bhi ulta seedha karne ki koshish ki toh mind it you'll see me dead before yourself and you know I mean it" kartik left from there.
Sara went back to her room and started crying. She didn't knew if did the right thing. The only thing she cared about at that moment was the fact that saisha loves kartik and she loves saisha and she didn't want saisha's heart to break even if it costs her heart to shatter in pieces.

Ik this is overly dramatic chapter😭 but I couldn't think of any other way to convince kartik to be with saisha.
Also idk if I should continue writing these overly dramatic scenes so y'all can suggest me what to write instead of these scenes😭
