Necrozma fired several lasers from its head that made their way towards the group. "Use Spirit Shackle and destroy them!" Ralph commanded.

Decidueye quickly fired arrows into each of the incoming attacks and stopped them one by one. Elio knew both his Pokémon were frail but they could pack a punch if Necrozma came close.

"Nihilego use Thunderbolt!" Selene yelled. Electricity jolted across the space and hit Necrozma. The attack seemed to do enough damage to make Necrozma start to approach the group.

Elio looked at Talonflame. "Fly behind that rock and prepare to use Flame Charge when I give the word," Elio instructed. The bird flew through the space and made its way behind one of the floating stones.

Necrozma started to glow as it approached and Elio recognized the incoming Sunsteel Strike. He looked at Selene but she was already on top of it. "Nihilego dissipate it with Psychic and then Mimikyu jump up and use Shadow Claw!"

Once that Shadow Claw lands it'll be the perfect opportunity to strike! Elio thought to himself. Nihilego pushed a wave of invisible energy at Necrozma and it started to slow down.

Nihilego groaned a bit and Necrozma stopped glowing. Mimikyu leaped up at the same moment this happened and jammed its claw into Necrozma's underbelly.

Necrozma cried out as the super effective move made contact. "Furfrou use Take Down!" Zossie's Pokémon jumped off the ground and flew into Necrozma. The move wasn't very effective but any damage was appreciated.

"Now, Talonflame!" Elio called. Talonflame emerged from its hiding spot, engulfed in flames. He flew down and hit Necrozma right on the back.

Necrozma flailed its arms to try and hit Talonflame but he was already fast enough to dodge them. "Leaf Blade!" Decidueye flew in from behind and raked its blade across Necrozma's arms while it was preoccupied.

Necrozma roared and started focusing its attention on Ralph's Pokémon. "Oh no you don't!" Selene yelled. "Nihilego use your Power Gem!"

Spinning stones appeared around Nihilego and they all flew into Necrozma's side. It roared again and began looking around frantically, overwhelmed by all the targets.

It began to charge another move but Zossie cut in before it could fire the attack. "Use Sucker Punch, Furfrou!"

Zossie's dog Pokémon appeared next to Necrozma out of nowhere and punched its paw into Necrozma's face, disrupting the attack.

Necrozma began to breathe rapidly and seemed to be furious. It fired several Power Gems at Talonflame and then started to pursue it with Sunsteel Strike.

"Dodge it! Hurry!" Elio commanded. Talonflame swerved around the stones but Necrozma was too fast and rammed into it from behind.

Necrozma came to a stop and faced Decidueye. In the blink of an eye, it had raced through the empty space and slammed into Decidueye with another Sunsteel Strike. Decidueye was sent flying into the rock they stood on.

"Decidueye!" Ralph cried. He ran along the large boulder and knelt by the Pokémon's side.

"Mimikyu, Shadow Claw again!" Selene shouted. Elio focused back on the battle where Mimikyu scored another direct hit.

Necrozma was about to counterattack when Furfrou appeared again. "Sucker Punch!" Zossie ordered. Furfrou landed the blow but this time Necrozma countered by grabbing Furfrou in one of its arms and hurling it into a faraway rock.

"FURFROU!" Zossie screamed. Phyco put his hand on her shoulder reassuringly.

"Furfrou will be fine. But I'm not so sure about us." He turned his attention to Necrozma and Elio did the same.

Necrozma was charging another attack above them and suddenly fired it. A giant white beam began to approach the group and Elio realized that they would all be eradicated if it reached them.

"We have to stop that move!" Elio screamed.

Selene looked around and at Nihilego. "Nihilego! Use Psychic on a nearby rock and block the beam with it! Hurry!"

Nihilego wasted no time grabbing hold of a large stone. It groaned and strained as the rock slowly moved. The stone barely made it in time to block the beam but the attack was stopped. "Now push it into Necrozma!"

"NIHILEGO!" The Ultra Beast screamed as the giant chunk of rock sped into Necrozma. The rock shattered and Necrozma seemed thoroughly discombobulated.

Necrozma seemed stunned in one moment and was fine the next. It sped towards Nihilego while engulfed in flames and landed another Sunsteel Strike.

Necrozma seemed poised to follow up on this and Nihilego probably couldn't take much more of a beating. "Talonflame use Flame Charge now! I need you to stop Necrozma!" Elio called.

A red blur suddenly appeared and Talonflame hit Necrozma in the side. "Keep using Flame Charge!" Talonflame continued to dive into Necrozma's back and retreat while it flailed its arms wildly to try and grab the fire bird.

Despite Talonflame's speed, Necrozma was able to grab it in its hands. Necrozma tossed Talonflame beneath it and into a stone. It then began to spin and glow red with fire.

Necrozma crashed into the rock where Talonflame had been thrown into the backed away.

Elio's heart started to pound as it seemed like there was no chance Talonflame could still be standing after that. "Play Rough!"

Elio once again forced himself to pay attention to the battle at hand as Mimikyu landed another blow on Necrozma. Necrozma pushed it away and started firing Power Gems at Mimikyu.

Elio noticed that Mimikyu's disguise still hadn't broken and he looked down at Crabrawler. "Selene, I have an idea! Have Mimikyu get hit and I'll get us a clean hit on Necrozma!" Elio told her.

Selene seemed to hesitate but nodded her head. "Crabrawler, get behind Mimikyu and throw her when I give the word!" Elio instructed.

Crabrawler shot up and put its arms around Mimikyu as the gems struck the disguise. The head fell over and Necrozma tilted its head in confusion.

"NOW!" Elio screamed. Crabrawler threw his ghost friend at Necrozma and Selene grinned.

"Shadow Claw! Give it all that you've got!" Selene's Pokémon jammed its claw into the armor on Necrozma's face and it screeched.

Elio decided to seize the opportunity and add to their damage output. "Crabrawler use your Focus Punch!"

Crabrawler flew through the space fist-first and landed his most powerful punch on Necrozma's armor. Necrozma was flung back by the two attacks and seemed to be severely weakened.

Lunala was still nowhere to be seen and Elio didn't want to risk having it fight again too soon. They needed a little bit more damage. "Selene! We have to hit Necrozma just a bit more and I think we can finish this!"

Selene's eyes darted around the area as she conjured a plan. "I still have my Z-Move! Nihilego can use one of these rocks! We just need to keep it preoccupied in the meantime."

Ralph ran up to them with Decidueye by his side. "Decidueye is back in it so we can help with that!"

Elio grinned. "Then let's hit him with everything we've got! Selene, focus on the Z-Move! Crabrawler use Power-Up Punch!"

"Decidueye use your Spirit Shackle!" Ralph's Pokémon took flight and began firing arrows as Crabrawler punched Necrozma's snout.

Just as Necrozma was about to respond to the arrows flying into him, Elio saw Talonflame climbing into the air. "Flare Blitz!" Talonflame sped across to Necrozma and slammed into its side with his Flare Blitz.

Necrozma cried out while Talonflame flew away and took the recoil damage. Elio looked over at Selene and she had completed her part of the Z-Move, now they just had to wait for Nihilego to ready and throw the boulder.

Necrozma seemed ready to attack again after not much time though. "Sucker Punch!" Zossie shouted. "Come on Furfrou! You can still fight!" She called. "Sucker! Punch!"

Zossie's white dog Pokémon appeared from nowhere and kicked Necrozma with its hind legs.

The Z-Move was almost ready but Selene decided to attack one more time just for good measure. "Mimikyu use Shadow Sneak!"

Mimikyu vanished and suddenly leaped out of Necrozma's Shadow, striking the Ultra Beast again.

Elio grinned as he saw a massive stone under Nihilego's control and heading towards Necrozma. Selene made a fist and shouted. "CONTINENTAL CRASH!"

The Z-Move sped towards its target and the groups' Pokémon quickly fled the scene. Necrozma looked up at the boulder but found itself too tired to get out of the way.

The giant stone crashed into Necrozma headfirst and the entire rock exploded. Elio shielded his eyes from the bits of rocks flying their way while Necrozma was flung into the Prism.

The Prism Pokémon bounced off the giant crystal and its eyes flickered open. Elio leaped up and scanned the area for Lunala. "Lunala! Come to me! We're finishing this right now!" Elio shouted.

The moon bat Pokémon flew in from above and positioned itself behind Elio. "It's showtime." He said and the Z-Ring on his wrist started to glow.
