It had been a couple of days since I'd woken up. Abby had been helping me rebuild my strength, and Octavia, Bellamy, and Lincoln rarely left my side. Because of it, I'd gotten closer to both Bellamy and O. Closer than Id thought I ever could again.

"Hey, Dia. How are you feeling?" Bellamy asked, walking in with food.

"Same as yesterday" I said, sitting up as he handed me the plate. I stared to eat, but I could feel his eyes on me.

"What's the question?" I asked without looking up.

He laughed.
"How do you always know when I'm about to ask something?" he questions

"You don't hide your expressions very well" I shrugged

"I'm just...confused. Back at mount weather, you'd said you'd been there before. Cage knew you by your scars. Diana, what happened?" He asked

I sighed, finally meeting his gaze.
"Bellamy, I told you. My blood is different. They were trying to use it- for cures, for sickness, for whatever experiments they could think of. So they strung me up like the rest. But when it was over, they stitched my wounds, cleaned me up. They wanted every last drop.

The first time I was there, years ago, Lexa sent me and a team of warriors to destroy them. We failed. They killed my men, kept me alive. And the scars... those are their marks. A guard craved a claw like wound into my back so everyone would know who I was if I ever escaped. This time, they did the same thing again, but on the other side. And the doctors made sure I didn't bleed out." I explained, my voice cracked slightly, so I looked down.

"Diana..." Bellamy voice was thick.
"I'm so sorry. You didn't deserve any of that. God, I should've gotten you out first. I didn't think it would be that bad, I-" he starts

"Bellamy" I cut him off, firm.
How could you have known? You did your job. And in the end, you saved me. That's what matters. You hear me?" I question

He swallowed hard, then nodded.
"I'm sorry Dia" he said

This time, when he pulled me into a hug, I didn't hesitate. I leaned into it.

"Octavia!" I yelled, jogging over to her.

She grinned.
"Ready?" She asked
"Been ready" I smirked as we mounted up. I was teaching her how to ride.

After a while, she got the hung of it, and we were racing through the woods, laughing freely. When we stopped, I glanced over at her.

"Octavia did Bell ever tell you where your name came from?" I asked

"Yeah. From some Roman book he read. Augustus, a Roman emperor, had a sister named Octavia." She said proudly

I smirked.
"Guess he didn't tell you the best part" I said

His brows furrowed.
"What do you mean?" She asked

"You'll have to catch me to find out" I said. I tugged the reins, and fats bolted back to the Arkadia gates, both of us laughing like children.

At the stables, we jumped off our horses, still out of breath.
"Diana tell me!" she demanded

"You didn't catch me" I teased, pulling Fayas saddle off.

She pouted.
"Diana" she muttered

"You O, are too old to be making faces like that" I said with mock disapproval. Then I sighed.

"Fine. I was the one who loved that name first. Bellamy lent me those books. I picked out Octavia. He grew love for it after I did" I said

Her eyes widened, but before she could speak, I walked off.

"Diana, have you seen Octavia?" Lincoln asked as I passed him.
"Lover girls in the stables" I answered without stopping.

"Raven" I smiled as I approached her workspace.

"Diana. How are you feeling?" She asked
"I'd feel better if people stop asking me." I deadpanned.

She laughed.
"Fair. Your parents were engineers, right? " she questioned

"Yes. I know a thing or two. Need help?" I ask
"Would love it" she said, sliding me a part. I sat down beside her and got to work.

"Bell ready to train?" I called as I walked into the training room.

He smirked.
"Ready to kick your ass" he said

"Is that a challenge?" I asked, slipping off my jacket.

"It's a challenge" he nods

I smirked.
"Good" I say
