"I don't think you should let him in your head." Madi whispered, her knees pulled up as we sat waiting for Gabriel to finish stepping up things.

"I know." I admitted quietly.
"But it's my only choice" I said, keeping my voice low and steady.

She hesitated, chewing her lip.
"Mom....when you were Haiplana, did you have dreams from the commanders?" She asks

"Some. It only happeneds when you're close to them. When Lexa became like a sister to me, I had more. That's why it happened to you. What do you remember?" I adk

"I remember something like some code. Weird symbols. I sketched them in my notebook" she said

A flash from the commanders burned through me. Showing me the truth of what she said.

I leaned closer, lowering my voice.
"Madi, don't tell anyone that. Ever." I say

She nodded, wide-eyed.

My eyes scanned the room.

Cadogan was talking to Bellamy, and Emori was crossing the room to go hug him.

The lights flicker on. I sigh of relief.

Then my eyes caught a woman talking to John.

His face paled with something I couldn't place. His eyes met mine, and he broke into a run. And I followed without thinking.

We found Raven on the floor, her knees drawn right against her chest, shoulders trembling as sobs tore out of her.

"Raven?" My voice cracked, soft.

She looked up, tears streaming, then buried her face again.

"Hey, hey, you're okay. I'm here, sister. You're okay" I pulled her into a hug, held her as she shook.

John and Emori knelt too, hands joining mine until the four of us sat there- nothing but warmth, grounding her, grounding each other.

For a moment, the war fell away. We were just family.

We walked into the next room and froze.

Indra had untied herself and was holding up a gun, aimed directly at Cadogan. Her voice shook with fear.
"Where the hell is my daughter?" She asked

Cadogan raised a brow.
"Who the hell is your daughter?" He asks

"Indra, hold on. We didn't know she was missing until today. Nobody did. We're gonna get everyone back. Put the gun down." Bellamy cut in

"Indra, stand down now. He's gonna help us." I ordered

Her jaw clenched, but slowly- reluctantly- she lowered her weapon.

Gabriel stepped forward.
"Does that mean you have the flame?" Gabriel asked

"It's in my head. And you're going to use the memory device to get the memories he needs." I said

He swallowed.
"I-I can do it. Just, let me set it up." He mumbled

But something about the way his voice trembled set me on edge.

Minutes later, the device was ready, the straps on my head. Gabriel adjusted it, but his hands shook. His eyes didn't track anyone in the room- he was staring at something I couldn't see.

"We are" Gabriel whispered

"Gabriel?" I frowned

"I'm sorry" he said.

The shot rang out before I could move. Gabriel has destroyed the machine.

Then he turned the gun on Cadogan.
"Helmets off and weapons down. All of you right now." Gabriel said

The disciples froze, then slowly obeyed.

"Gabriel? Gabriel, we need him to get our friends back, your friends. Hope too. Now put down the gun." Bellamy pleaded

Before I could intervene, one of the disciples lunged. Instinct took over. I snatched a knife from the table and drove it into the man's chest before he could reach Gabriel.

He gasped, falling, and I forced my face blank. My eyes darted to Bellamy- play along.

I yanked the blade free, shoved the body to the ground.

"No!" Bellamy's cry was raw as he dropped to his knees beside the man, selling the performance.

I grab a discarded gun, spun, and leveled it at Cadogan.
"Raven- fire it up. We need to get to our friends" I said

She slipped the helmet on, fingers racing over the controls.
"Which planet? Where are they?" Raven asked

"It's offline. Only I know the code." Cadogan replied

"He's telling the truth. There's one planet we can't get to." Raven said

I kept my gun leveled at him.
"Enter the code, and you get to live." I say

But he doesn't flinch.

I pressed the barrel of the gun to the back of my neck.
"Fine. Enter the code or I shoot exactly where the flame is. Then you'll never get what you want" I say

Cadogans mask cracked, just for a second. Slowly, he stepped forward, entered the sequence. The anomaly roared to life, glowing.
"There's your bridge." He said

"You're coming with us. Now. move" I ordered

"You should have more faith, Diana." He muttered

"I have faith- In my family." I shot back

I gestured to everyone.
"Go." I say

One by one, they moved, walking through.

I caught Bellamy's eyes.
"Keep the play up or end it? Your call" I say in trig

Before he could answer, Shedihedas voice slithered through the room.
"I can help you if you help me. My throne. The book. The little one remembers things" He said

My jaw clenched. I nodded for Indra to take Cadogan through, and she did.

One of Cadogans guards stopped, retrieving the book.

"Give it to me. Now" I say

He hesitated, stepping closer....right beside Bellamy.

"The bridge is closing" another shouted

"Bell- down!" I yelled

He dropped instantly. I fired, the guard crumbling. Chaos erupted- guards lunging. I dropped two, aimed at the one holding the book...click. Empty.

The anomaly shrank.

"Bell, let's go!" I grabbed his hand, yanking him with me as we dove through just before it sealed shut.

I hit the ground hard, lungs burning, Bellamy's hand still locked in mine.

We both staggered up, eyes meeting, a smile breaking through despite the danger.

"Thank God it was an act. I thought youd finally gone crazy" John muttered, breaking the silence. Relief filled his voice.

Bellamy smirked faintly.
"Family comes before everything" he says

I exhaled, finally looking around.
"Where are we?" I ask

"The second dawn bunker." Indra said

"Otherwise known as hell." Jackson added

"We're on earth? How?" My voice caught, disbelief crashing through me.

Cadogans voice cut through.
"This place is perfect for you. Nano tracking program. Bellamy, I'm very disappointed in you. But what is it you say? May we meet again." He said

I raised my gun, but he vanished before I could pull the trigger.

"Welcome home, mother." The voice echoed.

We turned. Gaia was descending the steps, eyes shining.

"Gaia?" Indra breathed, rushing to embrace her daughter.

I pulled her into my own arms next, Madi clinging to her after.

"Seda, how are you here?" I asked

"Good question. He turned off the stone. Before the bridge closed we went through. Landing here. He would not stop talking while we fought. He said when you're caught in a closing bridge it defaults to the planetary origin of our DNA, earth." Gaia said

John held up the helmet.
"Wheres the head?" He asked

"Buried. With the rest of him." Gaia answered

Indra cupped her daughter's face.
"Until today, no one even knew you were missing. How long have you been alone here?" She asks

"A few days, until the other arrived this morning. I thought it would be the rest of my life."
She answered

"We're together now" Indra said firmly, holding her hand.

I swallowed hard, looking around at the reunited faces, the endless unknown still looming.

"Octavia, Hope- everyone else, where are they?" I ask
