Bellamy's Pov/everyones thoughts
Peace.
That's what everyone's wanted, right? What we've bled for, fought for, lost for, ever since the day we crashed down here.
And now- now we finally had it.
All because of her.
All because of Diana- the girl who tore down every wall I built and made me fall, completely and hopelessly, in love.
I held her close, memorizing the way her hair brushed against my chin, the warmth of her body against mine. Before I could stop myself, the words were out.
"Wanna get married?" I asked, grinning like an idiot.
Her head snapped up, a smirk tugging at her lips.
"Jeez- it seemed like you'd never ask. I've been waiting quite some time, sky boy." She said
I laughed.
"I'll take that as a yes" I say
"It was" she shrugged, smiling softly.
"Diana blake. I like the sound of that" I said, proud of how it sounded. Too proud.
"Oh, shut up" she said, but her lips found mine anyway, and I kissed her back, like I'd never let go.
When we pulled apart, she held up her necklace, the one I'd given her all those years ago.
"I'll have to make you a ring. This one's mine" she grinned
"Make me a matching one and I'll let it slide" I teased, brushing my thumb along her cheek.
"Deal" she whispered, her eyes sparkling before she kissed me again.
God. This girl. She has me wrapped around her finger, and I wouldn't change a damn thing.
Bellamy-
She saved the world, and somehow she saved me too. Diana isn't just my heart- she's the reason I believe in tomorrow. She let me see her pain when she wouldn't show anyone else, and she still let me hold her together. That's what I'll never forget: she trusted me with her heart, even when it was breaking.
Octavia-
She carried a weight no one should, and still walked into that battlefield and gave us peace. Shes not just my sister now- she's my compass. She never held what I did in the dark against me. She reminded me I could still choose light. I'll always hear her voice pulling me back when I start to lose myself.
Raven-
I thought I knew sacrifice. Then i saw Diana choose it without hesitation. Shes fire and steel, but also warmth none of us thought we'd feel again. She saw me at my worst- angry, bitter, broken- and instead of turning away, she stayed. She let me lean on her when I swore I didn't need anyone. I'll always be grateful for that.
John-
I've spent most of my life running from death. Diana? She stared it down and made it blink first. She never looked at me like I was just some screw up, the coward. She saw when I tried, when I fought back against my own nature- and she actually thanked me for it. That's the part I'll carry. She made me believe I was worth more than survival.
Emori-
She reminds me that broken things aren't useless- they're proof of survival. That's what I'll always carry from her: hope stitched into scars. Diana never flinched at me. She never made me feel like I had to hide. She told me once that my heart was stronger than anyone she'd met. I'll hold onto that- and to her.
Echo-
Strength doesn't mean walls. Diana showed me that. She never let me hide behind the solider, or the spy. She pushed me to be seen, even when it terrified me. She called me family before I even knew what that word meant. That's what she gave me- a place where I belong.
Clarke-
We've both lost, over and over. But Diana didn't let loss define her- she chose love. She reminded me we could still choose it too. She forgave me when I couldn't forgive myself, and she trusted me with Madi when I thought I didn't deserve that trust. I'll never forget that. She made me feel like I was still worth something.
Levitt-
I studied thousands of warriors, leaders, histories. None of them compare to her. Diana isn't just a commander, she's the story worth telling. She believed me, when no one else from Bardo would. She reminded me that curiosity isn't weakness- it's strength. And I'll spend the rest of my life making sure her story is remembered.
Miller-
I've seen commanders. I've seen leaders. But Diana? She's family. And family's the thing that makes all the battles worth it. She checked in on me when no one else did. She saw how much I wanted to keep us together, and she told me once, "you hold more of this crew together than you know". I'll never forget that. She made me proud of myself.
Jackson-
She heals in a way medicine can't. By being. By caring. By never letting go, even when she's breaking inside. She was the first to ask how I was, when all I ever did was patch everyone else up. She made me feel seen, not just useful. And I'll never forget her for that.
Niylah-
People come into your life like storms. Diana was like rain after the storm. Fierce, yes- but cleansing, necessary, beautiful. She would listen to me, when others wouldn't. She told me once my kindness was stronger than most people's swords. That's something I'll hold close forever.
Indra-
Blood must not have blood. Diana proved that. She stood there countless leaders have stood, and she chose restraint where others chose death. That's the mark of a true Heda. She once told me she was afraid of becoming like those who came before. She never has to fear that again. She surpassed them all.
Gaia-
Faith is rare. But I saw it in her. Not in codes, or sayings, but in her people. That's faith strong enough to transcend. She let me talk about my beliefs without judgement, even when she didn't share them. She told me once that faith, in any form, is what holds us up when the ground shakes. And she loved by that.
Jordan-
She dreamed of peace when most of us couldn't even imagine it. And somehow, she made it real. She listened to me, when I thought my voice didn't matter. She said it was my fresh eyes that kept us from turning bitter. She made me believe being different was an asset, not a flaw. That's Diana's gift.
Hope-
She's proof that even when the world says you're too broken, too young, too tired....you can still rise. She let me rage, she let me stumble, and she still called me strong. She said i reminded her of herself when she was younger. That's the highest honor I'll ever carry.
Lexa-
Diana was chaos and fire, the kind that could burn the world down. But she learned to temper it into something greater: light. She carried her people, even when it broke her. She refused to bow, even when the weight of the sky itself pressed her shoulders. She was never my second, never my shadow. She was my equal. The commanders live on through memory, but Diana? She'll live on through love. That is a legacy greater than any flame could hold.
Lincoln-
Diana reminded me of Octavia in the beginning- fierce, unyielding, angry at the world that had given her no reason to be soft. But beneath it, there was always a heart big enough to carry the ones she loved. She gave her anger purpose. She gave her pain meaning. And she gave her people hope. She fought like a warrior, but more importantly, she lived like a protector. I always felt like an outcast in most places, but with Diana? I belonged. And knowing her, she'll never stop fighting for those she calls family.
Madi-
Diana- my mom- showed me that being a leader isn't about being the strongest, it's about carrying people when they can't carry themselves. She was hurting, but somehow she still made space for everyone else's pain. She fought like the world could still be saved, and because of her, I believed it too. She wasn't just a warrior- she was my mom- and she was proof that even in the darkest of places, you can still choose to be the light.
-Diana-
Bellamy.
He taught me that love isn't weakness- it's the only thing that makes us strong enough to keep going. Bellamy is the reason I kept fighting when I wanted to give up. He's the home I never thought I'd have.
Octavia.
She taught me that no matter how far you fall, there's always a way back. I've watched her burn, break, and still rise again. And through her, I learned it's okay to carry scars- they mean you survived.
Raven.
She showed me that strength isn't just about what you build or fix, but about refusing to quit even when life tries to break you apart. She let me see her vulnerable, and I return I learned that real strength is sharing the weight, but carrying it alone.
John.
He taught me that redemption isn't about erasing the past, it's about choosing every day to be better than you were yesterday. He tried, even when it was messy, and I'll always be grateful for the times he had my back when I didn't expect him to.
Emori.
She showed me that being broken doesn't make you less. It makes you rare. She wore her scars with pride, and because of her, I learned to stop hiding mine.
Echo.
She taught me that walls don't protect you- people do. She let me in, even when it hurt her to, and reminded me that family isn't blood, it's choice. And she chose me as much as I chose her.
Clarke.
She showed me that forgiveness is one of the hardest, bravest things a person can give. Clarke taught me that being a leader doesn't mean being perfect. It means loving your people enough to keep trying anyway.
Levitt.
He taught me curiosity is a kind of courage. That asking questions- about the world, about yourself- isn't weakness, it's how you grow. His faith in me never wavered, and because of that, mine didn't either.
Miller.
He showed me that loyalty is quiet, but it's powerful. Miller never needed recognition, but without him, we would've fallen apart. He taught me that sometimes being the glue is the bravest job of all.
Jackson.
He reminded me that caretakers deserve care too. He put everyone first, always. And he taught me that gentleness isn't the opposite is strength- it's its own kind of power.
Niylah.
She taught me that listening is a gift. That sometimes, the strongest thing you can do for someone is just to let them speak. She gave me peace when I didn't think I deserved it.
Indra.
She showed me that tradition doesn't have to define you. Indra taught me that true leaders know when to change, even if it terrifies them. From her I learned that respect is earned, never demanded.
Gaia.
She reminded me that faith doesn't have to look the same for everyone. Through her I saw that belief- in people, in love- is what keeps us standing when the ground falls away.
Jordan.
He taught me that hope isn't naive. Its necessary. Jordan's optimism kept the rest of us from drowning in cynicism, and he made me believe the future could actually be worth living for.
Hope.
She showed me that it's okay to rage, to stumble, to fall apart- as long as you get back up again. Hope reminded me of myself, younger, stubborn, unbreakable. And she made me remember that fighting for tomorrow is worth it.
Monty.
He taught me that doing better is always a choice, even when it's a harder one. His voice still echoes in my head when I falter. "Do better". I hope I made him proud.
Harper.
She showed me that love isn't just about surviving another day- it's about building a life in the middle of chaos. She was proof that joy is still possible, even in the darkest of times. I carry that with me.
Lexa.
Lexa taught me what it meant to lead. That a leader doesn't choose who lives and dies- they carry the burden of both. She showed me that love is strength, not weakness. She showed me what it meant to put your people above yourself, even when it destroyed you. And she showed me that even the strongest hearts can break, and still keep beating. Every time I walk into battle, every time I choose peace instead of war, she's there. She always will be.
Lincoln.
Lincoln taught me that kindness in a cruel world is its own kind of rebellion. He showed me patience when I had none, understanding when I didn't deserve it. He made me see that peace isn't a dream, it's a choice- one you have to make every single day. He loved fiercely, without apology, and he made me believe I could be more than the girl the world tried to turn into me. I carry him with me, in every moment i choose to protect instead of destroy. He was proof that warriors can be gentle, and that gentleness can save more lives than any blade ever could.
Madi.
Madi reminded me that strength isn't about how much you can carry. But how fiercely you choose to love. She grew up in a world that demanded she be a warrior, but she never let it take her heart. Through her, I saw what it means to fight without losing yourself, to believe in people even when the world gives you every reason not to. Madi wasn't just hope for the future- she was my daughter.
So if I'm remembered for anything, let it be this: I wasn't the girl who walked through fire alone. I was the girl who had a family by her side. Every step. Every scar. Every victory. They made me who I am. And if peace truly is ours....it's because of them as much as me.
